I expected this comment. Actually I thought something of kind of that but then I read card's text and FailFished myself.
Wait this will be crazy in some Baku the Mooneater decks. Like 4 damage with Mage hero power is insane...

You forgot custom hero powers, which are not from DK:
WAIT.... Bloodreaver Gul'dan = 6 Damage/Lifesteal
It heals for 12 as you also double the lifesteal from the 6 damage. Works like Velen does.

Yes, and I play a lot in wild. Nonetheless, Blizzard considers balance issues in wild only on true game breaking issues like infinite loops or very easy OTKs. The slight "overpowerness" of a combo in Wild is not a matter to address for Blizzard developpers. Otherwise, the Naga Sea Witch would have been changed long ago.
Btw, if you play Wild, you surely know that Razakus was already way overpowered in wild as it was a better version of the best Standard deck, with a small not-so-powerful-at-stalling minion known as Reno Jackson, even more removal tools considering the singleton ties such as Light Bomb. As we can witness, nothing was done to nerf it. And i'm pretty sure if Raza was nerfed on before KoFT, there would be a similar guy stating on Anduin Shadowreaper's page "The true reason Raza was nerfed !!!"
And Thaurissan was much more of an OTK activator (and a straight better cards in any case on top of that) than this gentle mech. I can't see anything you can do with this boy that isn't better with thaurissan, or even associated with thaurissan.

These cards combined explain why Raza was nerfed. Solely for the sake of Wild. If they stack it would be 8 damage machine gun with Raza (0 mana Hero Power) which would have been a big setup, but much easier to achieve than Exodia Mage
