Card Clarifications
- Spells cast on Lynessa are done so in a random order, not the order the spells were played in-game. (Source)
- The spells cast on her do not count towards the Paladin Quest, The Last Kaleidosaur. (Source)
- A spell cast on her through her Battlecry which the Adapt mechanic will choose an Adaption at random - you do not get to pick. (Source)

Are you sure that Lynessa Sunsorrow doesn't work like Primalfin Champion?
Hello, and welcome to the new Koboozes and Catasilences meta!
Laugh my ass off every deck is going to run silence and weapon removals xD
5 weapon removals, and a few silence. Your deck won't even be viable
why 5 weapon removals? you will only need a Harrison Jones / 1 or 2 Acidic Swamp Ooze/Gluttonous Ooze and 1 or 2 Spellbreaker.
a total of 2-4 solts, it's nothing. even now there are some highlander priests that are running Gluttonous Ooze, and about 85%+ of the highlander priests run Silence as well.
so yeah, at the current meta, ppl can easily shuffle these counters into their decks, there are some decks that run Skulking Geist just to counter Jades.
Earth Shock
Dinosize, Blessing of Kings x2, Spikeridged Steed x2, Blessed Champion, then Dark Conviction. Order Lul.
All memes aside i wish this card see more play than Blackguard did, cool design, good card, trampled by meta.
So running Dark Conviction in the same deck would mess this up I guess? How does it exactly work than? Will the casted spells be casted on Lynessa Sunsorrow in the same order? Also as others said, what about Adaptation? Will it be the same option you choose or a random one? How about the spell that will double a minions attack, also not sure how that will work. Will Redemptionsummon a 1/1? Very excited about this card but still so many questions .....
I would assume Adaptation would exactly the same as The Voraxx, where you adapt each minion separately. And Redemption would summon a 1/1, as Battlecries don't trigger off Redemption
Thanks for clearing that up.
People say that every expansion, yet silence is still not that popular
Yes, but how many silences do you plan on running in your deck. Pally has a lot of silence targets now...Lynessa Sunsorrow, Tirion Fordring, 2x Spikeridged Steed, Val'anyr, Ragnaros, Lightlord. And dont forget you can get multiple Tirions from Stonehill Defender.
Half paladin expansion giving bad cards for Recruit deck half mediocre cards for Quest paladin. Who in Hearthstone dev team hates paladin? Literally boosting two decks that are meme level and boosting them with thrash(mostly). Sure this card has potential but you need so many things to happen for it to be good that it's almost unplayable. You need to have played atleast a Stego before it to make it even worth playing, you need to draw her after you've already played the spell or else it's dead in your hand, next you need your opponent to not have hard removal or silence. To top it off after all this things that need to happen you play her and you don't win the game as... well it's okay being played but not game changing. It is not a Tirion. This card falls in the Bolvar category, good concept but to hard to execute and not valuable enough after execution. Yeah you can end up with a huge 7 drop but for that you need to have played so many below-par cards that it will be a miracle if that wins you the game. Atleast this card is playable unlike most Pally cards from Kobolds so far.
P.S. Atleast it's clear now what the devs think Paladin deck archtype is. Pally is the class that can summon huge combo cards that are easy to remove. So basicaly buff combo decks with win conditions that are hard to execute and easy to remove before they even hurt you. This card won't work for the same reason the quest didn't work.
I think other classes got some pretty good cards this expansion, mage in particualr. Mage, Priest got boosted so much and Paladin recieved 0 playable cards. Yes I know in wild some of them are gonna be cool but I'm talking with standart in mind. Paladin's only good deck in the meta got nerfed and now he recived 0 to max 1 card that is gonna be used in meta deck. Paladin turned into the garbage class this expansion. 2 bad legendaries, bad epics, bad synergy, awfuly weak archtype, you'd say Paladin was the msot dominating class last expansion so they ar epunishing it but no.. it's just Blizzard burrying a class as usual and they do love burrying Paladin. Meanwhile mage is a class with "op" cards and keeps getting "op" cards each expansion.
People are vastly under-rating this card. Literally every single Paladin deck that runs Spikeridged Steed will run this because even if you only cast one Spikeridge this game, it's the same as hitting a 1/1 Silver Hand Knight with the 6 cost spell, for 1 less mana. It's basically like getting a 3rd Spikeridged Steed in your deck without the need for two cards or a hero power minion on turn 8 to activate it.
Then add in all the other buffs we have, like Blessing of Kings and Adaptation, and you're looking at an auto-include in basically every mid-range/control paladin deck ever. Sure, it's a dead card on it's own, but what are the chances you will have cast zero buffs by the time you'd need to play this?
A 5/13 Taunt with Deathrattle: Summon two Stegodons? Not bad at all!
"YOU cast on your minions" so stuff like Equality Consecration are perfect and I'm sure since it's not a spell we can see a little more peacekeeping around here.
So is it first in, first out or first in, last out? That's going to be a very important consideration with cards like Dark Conviction and Dinosize. Also, watch out if you ever finding yourself casting something like Humility or Hammer of Wrath on one of your own minions as those will count as well (but Equality and Smuggler's Run will not. At least, I'm pretty sure they won't, since Primalfin Champion doesn't return those to your hand.)
No one is going to put Dark Conviction or Dinosize in their decks. With just Spikeridged Steed and Blessing of Kings this card makes a ton of value.
