Hey, don't use cards like Swipe to clear off the Flamewreathed / Earth Elemental. Had Amulet of Domination in my hand and completely brain farted. Lost the free treasure >.>
So yeah, if you want the pole, avoid cards like Swipe, Holy Nova, Hellfire, Consecration, or others. Your only breathing room turn is turn 3, where the 4/1 crab is easy to kill off (make sure you do, or it damages him). Otherwise, all his cards are very value-oriented minions that he skips the downside of.
Had this one, got the fishing rod, and got the one that lowers his minions mana cost by hero power afterwards, while he was getting manacrystals, I fished a couple of strong minions and easil took care of him :P
Because it won't summon minions that you put in his deck through things like Psychic Scream, if i remember correctly.
Fun fact if you get to turn 11 without damaging tad he will pull a sunken treasure that will give you Tad's Pole a 0/1 weapon that recruits a minion from your opponents deck.
I'd like to point out that Sunken Chest's deathrattle also cause you to win, and that Tad's Pole recruits from your opponent's deck at the end of each turn.
Kind of a free win.
Tad will play a perfect curve but has a limited amount of cards. He will play a Starving Crab which will likely kill him.
But if you kill him, you don't get Tad's Pole.
Yeah Just found that out. Seems the idea of the fight is to keep him alive until he spawns the treasure.
