This card is so much fun to use, but the amount of risk involved with it really makes me second guess it. I've done a lot of testing with the card, and a lot of the time I end up replacing the cards in my Lorewalker Cho and Nat Pagle. My luck is probably just bad. REGARDLESS, this card is fun to use!

Would this card work as an extra win condition in a miracle rogue?
Maybe against a control deck that can survive your burst you could then go down the monkey route, no problems drawing the cards. I might give it a go in casual.
ive actually been playing this in miracle rogue for the last couple days and it's been quite stellar. I find I've drawn through my entire deck and my opponent still has 12-17 cards left and when you have a full hand plus 3-5 cards left in your deck it's pretty good. My favorite play is Emperor then Monkey same turn. I have yet to lose a game where I have played the monkey.
That sounds cool. Could you post your miracle deck list? I haven't seen one in a while that uses emperor.
I used this card in a priest deck that ran a massive amount of removal and stall based cards. The idea was to simply fatigue the opponent until their win condition or supplement of cards has ran out, then play the golden monkey on a uncontested bored. So far it has destroyed almost every control deck I have bean matched up with (lost once to a freeze mage) as I used cards like lightbomb and entomb to prevent them from very getting control of the board and has a fair match up with mid-range and more conventional agro decks like zoo, mech mage and variants of druid, paladin and hunter by using cards like wild pyromancer to have large temp swings destroying more stinky minions like hunted creepers and annoy-o-trons. Against very aggressive decks like secret paladin and face hunter and shaman it get tricky as with out finding justacar you have no viable ways of damage mitigation and will die from not being able to heal though deathlords can help with that. I have around a 70% to 75% win rate only really losing to combo decks like freeze mage and the new mirical rogue or face decks that can keep the aggression without needing a board. Which ranks/dates have you gathered these stats from?
Around rank 8-10 at the most 5 and and pretty much from the start of the forth wing release til now.
She's indeed terrible - an idea that on paper seems good but in practice is very poor. I defender her a lot and used many theoretical arguments (doesn't hurt including a 4 drop, play like you normally would etc etc). But after trying her in many decks with different strategies (mill rogue, ramp druid, warlock, mage, control warrior, fatigue, even with Reno etc etc), I have to take everything back.
Even if you build a deck to stall with taunts, heals, removals etc. while waiting for the combo - usually coming very late - to play legendaries as purely tempo pieces (and slow since most of them are expensive), it's still very RNG and also destroys your hand as well. There's no way to have consistent results. And I don't even have to mention what happens if you play her regardless of your end strategy for winning the game - it simply gets destroyed instantly.
Ironically, you realise the same thing that people realised about Astral Communion: the best results were obtained by... not playing it at all. Waiting until the Monkey moment to convert stall cards into winning ones turns out to be a poor & very inefficient gimmick. I will keep trying to use her, but unless she is somehow helped with coming expansions, I think she's doomed to the lowest tiers. I hope I am proven wrong.

I got the combo. Brann on turn 3, Elise on turn 4. Got the monkey out, and all of a sudden my entire deck got replaced with the shittiest legendaries imaginable.
Not worth it.
mmmm no i don't think you have ever played this card
if the effect never happens it will not spell death for you
its not like you have a drawback that will make much of a difference
this card gives you a raid boss enrage timer

All legendaries from the monkey are golden which is quite a bummer for those who crafted her golden. Also, imo, somehow devalue golden cards, if you can have a full hand&deck of golden legendaries from a normal card. On the other hand can make people to love more golden cards and they will start to craft them :) maybe is a blizz strategy, who knows...
No... every time i saw golden monkey hit all legionaries were not golden... unless your thinking golden golden monkey does but a NONE golden monkey dosent fill deck with gold legionaries
From my experiences i see this card is not a "make a deck for it" because you lose your spells and legendaries you get is may not be you needed in right moment. But you could think like this:
This card give you a card draw and this is not a bad thing. And this card draw give you another card draw so not bad at all. After that you can find a 4 mana 6-6 taunt and this is really good card too. And most important point is you don't have to play this when you draw. This is not an Ambush!. In right moment, when you have board control you can play your Golden Monkey.
Elise Starseeker is a card for control decks and in control decks there are some cards to replace it with elise. Maybe you can sacrifice one of your Piloted Shredder
