Should have atleast 6 health, otherwise i'd give it battlecry: silence a minion.

This card only saw competitive play in Year of the Mammoth because of Corpse Taker.

I guess the reasoning was something like this: "This is basically an 8/5, it needs to cost six or it will be OP"

They were wrong.

Why is this thing's faction Alliance? I never got Hearthpwn's faction categorization.

 Here's a 6 mana 4/5 that has an ability that doesn't do anything the turn it is dropped (Ignoring Charge for the moment, but Raging Worgen combos better with that). Now look at Emperor Thaurissan, a 6 mana 5/5 that gets massive value instantly, and massive value again if it lives a turn.

That is why Emperor Thaurissan is a Legendary minion.
