If you wouldn't be dead vs those decks on 8th turn then maybe.
Might be slow, but if allowed to stick around it could give you unmatched board control.
"Also damages the minions next to whomever he attacks." So if enemy kills it right away you get none value of that. Basically he is like overpriced ogre with rarely useful ability.
I'm assuming it only takes damage though from the minion it attacks directly.
