In the hyper rare event the whole body lives another turn, you can attack with the hands to face then attack with Neptulon to do another 8 damage. Pretty neat, but, pretty rare :)

Wait I'm kind of confused.  Do you lose the attack with the main body if it tries to attack and there's a hand?

Yes.  It attacks and instead the hands do for 8 (or 4 if 1 died) immune instead, then it attacks again and it repeats because windfury.  4 less damage than Onyxia (2 less if you want to keep immune) but you keep all 3 unlike Onyxia who looses all her whelps after they attack normally.  Then the next turn it could be 16, 8 or 14 damage depending on how many hands die (0, 1 or 2.)

Very impressive card with a very impressive cost. I think this is comparable to Onyxia. Almost as much rush damage (though only on 2 targets), but you get to keep your appendages and this hits a lot harder than Onyxia if left alive.

Though Onyxia is only ever run with Kazakusan and this has no such synergy, so I expect its applications to be a lot more limited. Ramp Druid may be interested, and possibly Vanndar decks. We may also see it from Amalgam in Shaman.

Well this can be discovered with amalgam. There are not many elementals in standard now that it's likely to discover Neptulon. Almost all elementals in the pool now are pretty good.

It makes Azshara and Faelin stronger.

This card is probably, first a 14 + 8=  22 Rush turn and the second turn 14 +16  face turn; 2 health minions are much harder to remove.

Imagine buffing this minion in hand with Cariel.

It says "they attack instead", which probably means that it is only the hands that will do damage. It would thus deal 2x2x4 = 16 damage, when played with rush, and possibly 16 + 8 on the second turn.

Buffing this with Cariel will not buff the hands, so the damage output would actually be the same (untill the hands die).

Sadly this is just worse Raid Boss Onyxia. Great pull off Queen Azshara, but I don't think it'll be picked instead of Onyxia in any situation.
