When one card has combined effect of multiple cards, that card is supposed to cost more than those cards combined, because card-advantage is already worth something, not less.

Twitchy posted a message on Whispers of the Old Gods Releases April 26th, Last Week's Card RevealsPosted in: NewsI have to say that the amount of garbage cards in WoG seems way lower so far than in TgT. They're definitely improving, I think Explorers was my favorite adventure so far as well : )

MrGurubashi explained the situation better , and i was gonna point those things out , but seeing someone already pointing them out i didnt bother to mention them again
After giving that comment , i tried an old deck made by disguisedtoast , its a hunter deck which is f2p and took him to legend ... i went from 20 to 16 (now im at 17) straight with 0 loss ... So clearly f2p decks for casual players like me is possible ,
TBH his actual deck is with the expensive replacements that he mentioned , not the original one i believe ... -

Is this deck for a certain tavern brawl ? or just for fun ? It surely says- Deck Type: Ranked Deck
But Im not so sure , you see i am a casual F2p player , didnt play HS for months , decided to get back in , i like paladin so i found this deck , saw it was cheap , so i crafted it (cost me around 900 dust ) and after 20 something games , i dropped from rank 19 to 20 ....... and back to 19 , then back to 20 .Most of the games my opponents kill me in turn 6-7 , i dont get the elementals required to buff the cards etc etc (and yes , i had games with double lick kings and double rag the light lord , so my believe is that its just a gimmicky / fun deck perhaps ? )
So i was wondering if this deck was mistitled or something like that , But I see tons of comments praising it , So is the estimated rank is rank 19-20 with this deck ? -

Jumarti posted a message on % Kingsbane Miracle and Tempo KingsbanePosted in: % Kingsbane Miracle and Tempo KingsbaneThank you for your comment, it helps me to improve the deck.
Doomerang seems fun to play, but as you're not going to have Kingsbane all the time, and lesser, buffed, it won't have the impact enough to become a strong addition; also, Kingsbane has enough durability to think on renewing it as an urgent matter and anyway it will go back to your deck so you can draw it again. In summary, it has very little impact to replace someting in this deck and its purpose of renewing an important weapon is already covered by Kingsbane itself.
About Valeera the Hollow, it's a very strong late game card, especially if you play it with Vanish, so I thought a lot about it. But finally, because of the current meta and the card's weaknesses I decided it wont be very consistent to be included. I wrote some of my reasoning to other user here:
"I chose Valeera the Hollow because of the strong impact she can make on the late game allowing a lot of fun and powerful combos. The bad thing is that in the actual meta aggro and tempo decks are very strong and thus a lot of times it is going to be hard to reach a moment where you can exploit the DK utility to win, so it may be a dead card in your hand along with Leeching Poison and early game Arcane Giant; also, with the new Fal'dorei Strider you'll have enough late-game power to need the DK. Anyway, Valeera the Hollow can be a really strong card combined with Vanish, but their inclussion will depend on the pacing of the meta; by now I think they're gonna be dead cards in your hand the most of the time."
Noticing your interest on the deck I really recommend you to look at this very similar one by another player: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/976918-k-c-road-2-legend-tempo-miracle#c1 as the author has a lot of arguments for their pick decisions that helped me a lot to refine my deck.

I am played Loatheb in place of him, and it seems fine.
Mojomaster Zihi is probably perfectly fine to if you're facing a lot of Reno Jackson or Mecha'thun decks for some reason.
I chose to go the Loatheb route mostly because it can stop Raiding Party and Tinker's Sharpsword Oil, which seemed important.
I could even see a Gluttonous Ooze or something similar in that slot.
Pick a tech card, any tech card. You'll be fine!

This is such a sweet card, but if it ends up actually being good we're gonna be back in a silence meta which is super unfun. Excited to see where this expansion takes us though!

The "Unidentified" cards were supposed to be a callback to loot drops in the Diablo series (and other such games) where there are base items that have random buffs/enchantments on them when they drop. Kobold's and Catacombs as a set was supposed to be a throw back to dungeon crawlers, which they did a pretty great job of, to be honest. While that did make the cards weaker than "choose" cards, it made them more thematically correct.
Random effects also push story's, which Blizzard is all about. The Inn Keeper himself will tell you that most times you log in. I can't tell you the number of times me and my co-workers have come into work to talk about some epic top deck or whatever, and it's even more exciting when it's an "Unidentified" item (normally it's Unidentified Maul giving you lethal or the bubble to have great trades or whatever).
tl;dr Unidentified Shield would be way better as a choose card, and I would love that (with a new name), but it didn't fit the dungeon crawler theme.

Somebody is going to pull off Build-A-Beast into a Bittertide Hydra + Stonetusk Boar, then use Emeriss and... after several turns of set up be capable of 18 damage face. Some world with multiple Build-A-Beast activations might result in something crazy, and there might just be a better build in general that I'm overlooking, but this is probably too slow to be competitive. Neat card-- I hope it finds a home somewhere, but pretty unlikely.

Doomguard should go to Hall of Fame. Currently CubeLock is scary because not only does it have fantastic survivability, but it also has crazy high burst turns. This card has seen enough play, charge is a hard mechanic to balance, let's move on.

I'm playing a variant of this that basically is...
-1 Kabal Lackey
-2 Ice Block
-1 Pyroblast
+2 Corridor Creeper
+2 Firelands Portal
And it's been very powerful and consistent. I found myself very rarely leaning on Ice Block because Corridor Creeper helped a bit more with board control. I think I may actually adjust back and add Pyroblast back in in place of on of the Firelands Portal...
Anyways, sweet deck. Very good against a lot of the meta right now. Highly recommend!

I think it's more that they incentivize all the other game modes in some way or another. They could do something here. I wouldn't mind having unlockable titles or something... or maybe have it be a way to earn additional card backs in the future or something. It's just weird that the rest of the game has incentives behind each game mode, and then this one doesn't (after the Twitch challenge deal).

Who do we talk to at Blizzard to get them to have Kibler do all reveal streams?

So who will be playing The Darkness just to deny Raza his free hero powers?

Thanks a lot for your reply, and especially for linking out to another players deck! Really cool! Hopefully we can all iterate together once the expansion goes live and figure out how to best use of all this!
