posted a message on Hagatha the Witch

You're thinking just like Dog was when he put together quest rogue deck back in early Un'Goro where it was tempo rogue with some bounce cards. It even had Edwin VanCleef!

A good Hagatha deck wouldn't just be control shaman with the hero card thrown in for flavor. Think of it like zoo with a crappy turn 7/8 board clear where you trade off your minions and then Duskbreaker the board.

After Hagatha is played though, minions start generating much more value. Windfury and Bloodlust would be amazing! Earth Shock and Ancestral Healing would be great for getting around taunts. 7 of 26 of those spells have overload which even makes the spellstone not suck that much. Think about how many of these spells aren't worth putting in a deck, but certainly are worth casting if you happen to get them for free and you can see the value in playing this! Will it be meta defining? I don't know. Will it be playable? You bet! This may get even better after all cards are revealed as shaman may get another couple spells.

Hagatha elemental shaman: Insane value when played with Grumble World Shaker

Hagatha spiteful zoo: Play low cost minions with your only spells in your deck being Bloodlust. 5 mana minions are traditionally not the greatest but Firelands Portal demonstrates that they are still at least worth it sometimes. Bonus in that drawing Bloodlust early isn't terrible as it's a great card.

Hagatha quest shaman: Can you even imagine the value of Megafin being played after Hagatha? Sadly this might be wild only as Call in the Finishers is practically required.

I cannot believe they did this.  I thought they would have dipped their toes in the water at first with multi-tribal tagged minions.  I was thinking along the lines of a card that is a dragon in your hand but turns into a beast on the board.  While this does enable multi-tribe deck building, I believe they will regret printing this card.  For the next 2 years in Standard, Team 5 has limited their design space for 3 mana tribal minions.  Every 3 mana tribal minion will be measured against Amalgam and if it doesn't have the stats it better have a powerful keyword, effect, or synergies within its respective class or it will not see play.

I've thought multi-tribe minions in Hearthstone was a great idea for a while! Here are some that are already in the game and just need to be retagged!

    Very cool art.

I just don't like that, as a neutral card, it seems better than Darkshire Alchemist

Darkshire Alchemist's battlecry is targeted, which means that you can (and usually should) target minions to keep your board healthy. It also happens instantly so you don't have to worry about your opponent not killing a deathrattle minion first to put you outside of Fireball or Pyroblast range. Technically, you could even use DA with Auchenai Soulpriest or Embrace the Shadow for a Blazecaller deal 5 damage to target effect.
In short, while they are very similar cards, Darkshire Alchemist should be seen as a utility minion and Rotten Applebaum as a taunt minion with benefits. :)

The first is obviously the Emerald Dream. Second one is something to do with void or the Twisting Nether (I hope it's void). Third one looks like something to do with the arakkoa. Seriously, you cannot have a year of the raven and not have Anzu!

Its good full dust for rotating out and for being nerfed

    ???
They are not nerfed. They are buffed. There is no full DE-value for molten giants when they are moved to the HoF.

Moving to the Hall of Fame means that players who own the card(s) will get full crafting dust for them automatically. They get to keep the card and get the dust. As I pointed out in the main topic, it is beneficial to craft even the regular versions of the HoF cards as there is no net loss (you get the dust back) and you get essentially free cards.

Pre Patch_6.2.0.15181, Murloc Warleader used to give +2/+1 to ALL murlocs in play. It could be seen as a buff when it was changed to just the owner's murlocs.  Also of note, there was no dust award when it was changed this way, although later when the health bonus was removed and the card change was undeniably a nerf, it was eligible for dust award.

Can someone remind me how the dust refund works? Basically, do gold cards count towards the two? Or are they counted separately?

Ex 1: I have 2 normal versions and 1 gold version.

Ex 2: I have 2 normal versions and 2 gold versions.

Ex 3: I have 2 gold versions and 1 normal version.

Ex 4: I have 1 normal version and 1 gold version.

You get the max full crafting cost of dust for 2 cards if you have more than 2. That means this:

Ex 1: You get 2000 dust (1600+400) it the example card is Ice Block or Molten Giant because they are epic. You will get 900 dust (800+100) if it is Coldlight Oracle due to it being rare.

Ex 2: You get 3200 dust (1600+1600) for epics, and 1600 dust (800+800) for rares.
Ex 3: same as example 2 as the highest amount is already the value of two gold versions.
Ex 4: same as example 1 as the extra non-gold copy from that example doesn't matter.
...and although you didn't ask, the dust value for non-gold copies is 800 (or 400 per card) for epics and 200 (or 100 per card) for rare.
If you don't already have these cards, it is recommended that you craft at least the regular version of all of them as they may come in handy if you ever decide to play wild. Even if you don't ever play wild, they will still be usable during most tavern brawls where you make your own deck. The crafting cost total for making 2 copies of each card is 1800 dust which you will get back when the Year of the Condor hits in approximately three to five weeks.

yep. had the same problem and I challenged a friend in the same room to see if we could duplicate it and I couldn't do anything but it showed on her screen that I was just timing out.

I also had moments when I couldn't play certain cards but could play others... like those cards weren't valid or something. not fun, and I'm sure my partner was not enjoying my forced bad choices :(

There's no hydra because I'm convinced that it doesn't deserve to be in a post KFT token druid deck. PNC replaced one for a scalebane and I believe that's a good start. ;)

If you want to use Bittertide Hydra over Cobalt Scalebane, I can't stop you, but I'm certainly not going to recommend it over scalebane unless I can get reasons to.

Sure, feed my ego. :P Anyway glad to have helped, GuidoDavi!

Priests and (control) druids are a big counter to this deck. The Crypt Lord + Crazed Alchemist combo is good to the point that I wouldn't bother running the lord without the alchemist.

Decent cards to add to improve your chances against priests are Cobalt Scalebane and Evolving Spores. Scalebane is great but I'm not sure it belongs in a deck with Snowflipper Penguin due to slowing down the deck substantially. Evolving Spores is slow too, and feels like such a dead card often, but getting Divine Shield to protect against Dragonfire Potion or Windfury / +3 Attack to finish them off feels so good.

You're absolutely right. Priest (Razakus and big priest) are terrible. Jade and big druid are terrible too. With this deck as designed, strategy is to go all in and hope you can take them down before they clear your board (Shadow Word: Horror or Dragonfire Potion) or build their wall (Spreading Plague). That's precisely why those archetypes are popular right now as they can shut down aggro while being competitive against other control decks. We would be having the exact same problem with quest warrior if it was viable against control too.

If you are experiencing far too much priest and druid control matchups, I suggest you replace a Swipe or two with Evolving Spores as so many of those adaptations are great against priest and not too shabby against druid. Cobalt Scalebane is a good minion to add as it is immune to Dragonfire and makes other minions less susceptible to SW: Horror (although it does make Shadowreaper Anduin's play effect more deadly to you) and it is decent against druid's 1/5 taunt scarabs.

Crypt Lord plus Crazed Alchemist is another thing to consider. Some people add Crypt Lord to protect against other aggro decks (which I don't see them as too big of a problem) but paired up with the alchemist you can do considerable burst damage and take out key high health minions. Crazed Alchemist can also be a direct counter to Doomsayer, and I've been seeing far too many doomsayers this month.

glad you enjoyed it! Actually, token druid is a solid tier 2 deck and is a very capable deck. The version that I listed is very similar to what dschmittHS took to high legend.

While I touched on the Pilfered Power Ultimate Infestation combo which I find to be hilarious for an aggro deck, I didn't touch on the Crypt Lord Crazed Alchemist combo which, now that I've been seeing a lot of control decks using Doomsayer, Crazed Alchemist becomes a lot more viable.

This month I may toy with Pilfered Power again since having minions hide behind the 'Lord makes it easier to ramp.

    I hate you.

Enchanted Raven cannot be replaced. At all. Ever.

Well, it can be by any number of cards (not well but it can be) but why don't you just go get it for free from the Karazhan intro? You also get that mage card that deals 5 damage and summons Bomb Squad.
