Personally, I think the emote system has done more to create a toxic gaming atmosphere than just being able to talk to opponent's regularly.
1) It adds a level of sarcasm. Every emote has a sarcastic tone behind it, from "greetings" to "well played" and everything in between (we're looking at you "thank you". While Hearthstone is advertised in its animated commercial to be about being friendly and making friends, the interface has done more to create a sarcastic and "hateful" atmosphere than friendly and competitive.
2) Opening a chat ability that you can activate and deactivate at will seems like it would be more effective. There are numerous times where I would like to actually greet my opponent or tell them that I really liked their play, but instead I get a sarcastic "thank you" or "oops" emote and then they proceed to make their move. If you try to add anyone after the fact, they either ignore you, or berate you and block you.
I've had games that went really well, both for myself and for my opponent and I have wanted to follow up with them afterwards on great plays that were made, really good momentum swings on both sides, and the eventual outcome, but because of how the system is set up, I cannot and because of how toxic the Hearthstone atmosphere is with salty players, nobody wants to add you after-the-fact because they don't want to deal with the insults and beratement.
I wish Blizzard would re-evaluate the emote system and implement some kind of a chat system that might help rebuild a friendly community. I've found a few Facebook groups that maintain a friendly atmosphere, and I've really enjoyed being apart of them, but even then you find the salty, bitter ones regularly that need to be weeded out.

Edit:
Misread the card so everything I said was flawed. Sorry.

Well you want to draw it, because Blatant Decoy summons the card from your hand.

Ok but Hearthpwn can't do anything about that.

Oh. Well I feel dumb for not noticing that like, ever.
Thanks.

Playing Princess Talanji (without quest)
Managed to steal big taunts from him, and got a random Emeriss from a Bone Drake... which resulted in VERY big taunts.
Next turn, Talanji worth 38/50 stats for 8 mana... He conceded before I even played my Hadronox, which would have been brought back by Witching Hour and played 2 more times with Seance... Still had plenty of juice to keep going.

How about a spell hunter variant that would run this with Oondasta, King Krush and something like Charged Devilsaur?

Played a game as burgle rogue against a quest druid.
I got Ferocious Howl twice, Branching Paths twice, a Twig of the World Tree, some taunts, a Floop's Glorious Gloop, an Hadronox...
Needless to say, I piled armor like crazy thanks to Valeera the Hollow with Branching Paths... I mean, the screenshot was at the end of the game. but at some point I had 10 hp left with no armor. I got to 35 armor, lost it all, went back up there...
You can imagine my Tess was craaaaazy.
That game was so much fun!

Thanks for the comments on my cards :)
I really like Winter Veil Brew. The fact that you can use it to do better trades or to buff a huge taunt, as well as deactivating a huge threat without crippling it too much... I think it is a really good card.
Captain Eudora is a cool card, I would add it in a burglar rogue deck. Not as flashy as your other card in my opinion, but in general the class legendaries will be very good value so yeah, pretty nice card too.

You might as well just ask help forum starting WoW. Coming from Hearthstone won't change a thing except you'll recognise some characters and monsters. The two games have nothing in common apart from lore.

Tired of seeing Obsidian Statue in arena, if I don't have a good answer it's an auto concede from me. So much heal and value.
