posted a message on How can i beat zoo and hunter with this deck

I don't see alot of face-burst damage in the deck, maybe that's the problem. Since you have Leeroy Jenkins makes alot of sense to me playing 2 rockbiters and 1 windfury. I personally dont like Cairne, he's too slow and 90% of control decks run silence now that Tinkmaster has been nerfed to the ground.

Argent Commander is good, but he shines only with Rockbiter and/or Windfury. Otherwise you play it, does 4 damage to something, then dies to any crappy 2 attack minion. You could try 2 Lava Burst instead, that can be used to do 10-12 face damage if needed, and you can cycle them with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, as opposed to the commanders. They also do great vs these turn 2 yetis druids love so much. What i'm trying to say is that these 2 guys that only really sinergyze with the one FT Totem in your deck are slowing you down quite a bit.

Remeber anything you do to improve your hunter/zoo matchups will inevitably make you weaker against control decks like ramp and p2w warrior.

posted a message on How i can get better this "cheaper deck"?

As a general idea, try avoiding running cards that dont really do anything on their own, like Bloodlust and Windfury.

Running 1 out of 4 is fine if you really want a finisher, for the rest the posts above pretty much covered everything and i generally agree. Azure Drake is a great card, so is Faceless Manipulator, there are many good generic cards that you should have rather then Al Akir that is a fine card but it's not worth crafting until you have all the generic "must have". Leeroy Jenkins is an overall much useful legendary if you're going for the "not gonna craft rares because i will open them" route.

Injured Blademasters with 2 Ancestral Healing, 1 The Black Knight may improve your aggro matchup without ruining your control matchup (you can taunt an enemy minion and use TBK to kill it, can work with pretty much any scary legendary).

Without TBK i would never ever run 2 ancestral healing though. Blademasters arent bad even if you have a healing totem down, giving you a 4/4 for 3 mana.

I have Illidan Stormrage and Harrison Jones, even tho I just started playing this game and would prefer better legendaries those are useles and are in T4, I need some advice please.

I am on the same boat. But i also have the awesome Millhouse Manastorm.

Harrison is reasonable in a slow control deck where you'd rather have a 5/4 body for the effect then a 3/2 like Ooze. Illidan could really be played in any midrange deck, preferably token oriented (Bloodlust or Savage Roar).

I don't plan on disenchanting either of them, considering that they are both playable, unlike Millhouse.

I agree that flamestrike should be a rare card, having 2-3 flamestrikes is decisive, specially because arena is mainly played around minion trades.

They should also ban Mind Control Tech from arena, since he has a 100% chance to mind control your 7/7+ Frostwolf Warlord and lose you the arena. It's not written on the card but it works that way, happened twice today. I'm sad.

posted a message on Rate My Control Shaman, Please! Fine Tuning For The New Season.

Deck looks good to me. I would swap the forked for another rockbiter tbh, and tazdingo for the second fire ele.

About earth ele for doomhammer i kind of agree, its sad when you overload that much and he gets removed maybe with hunter's mark (that's even more annoying than poly or hex).

Doomhammer would also kind of combo with the second rockbiter. I personally run Arcane Golem (in replacement of Leeroy, that i don't have) + Windfury + Rockbiter as finisher, and together with Doomhammer make these rockbiter much more valuable lategame, should you play against control.

But i can see that without Doomhammer or windfury / al'akir you see rockbiter as less valuable in your deck than a forked lightning, kind of makes sense.

I run a slightly different version for dailies or fun, much slower, but i usually manage to generate a somewhat decent card advantage trough cards like Arathi Weaponsmith, while trying to maximize my battle rages.

Atm i don't have Slams otherwise i'd find a place for 2, Abomination is a total crap replacement for BrawlArcanite Reaper also poorly replaces Gorehowl.

posted a message on Giant deck Alpha build looking for input!

    This is the "possible" decklist:

    Giants ALPHA
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (21) Ability (7) Weapon (2)
    Loading Collection

First thing: these are all cards that i have except for 2x Equality and 2x Wild Pyromancer that i would need to craft.

Watchers / taunt givers / hammers / swords / eq + pyro for early game removal, Spellbreakers as another way to activate the watchers and of course silence other people's nasty stuff.

The endgame consists of these 3 three giants that i have lying around, Illidan (blame pack RNG), Tirion, and the two guardians.

Other stuff i was considering crafting: Big Game Hunter, Stampeding Kodo, Faceless Manipulator. I can easily make all this stuff, although having roughly 1900 dust means i can't craft say Ysera or Ragnaros the Firelord for a very, very long time.

So, could this deck work or it's not even worth a shot? What do you guys think? Atm i'm rank 10 btw but with my shaman, i don't really play alot of ladder to be honest, as i'm looking for something more consistent (a solid late game deck that could wipe the floor with hunter and zoo, i'm gladly taking suggestions on this matter).

    Thanks!

posted a message on What would Tirion do?

This looked more of a midrange aggro deck then a late game deck to me (jugglers, yetis, blessing of kings)... he also was considering getting a Sword of Justice and a second Avenging Wrath...

Seeing as there isnt really alot of poly/hex/syphon/silence bait in the deck (except for blessing of kings maybe) i would imagine a lonely Tirion wouldnt get much effect, also with this kind of deck, if things go wrong and you get to late game sometimes you have mana spare to play around with bounce mechanics.

There seems to be a trend dividing etremely aggressive decks with divine favor and leper gnomes and extremely late decks with giants and several legendaries, probably he wanted to build something in the middle, i have no clue if that might work in the long run though.

Anyways i said it was a dumb idea, but a cheap to one to try at least :D Who doesn't have a brewmaster lying around in their collection :)

This can sound stupid as hell, but i would have a Youthful Brewmaster in there... Peacekeeper, Kodo, Defender of Argus, Argent Protector, Argent Commander, Silver Hand Knight, Guardian of Kings... There are many cards with great "re-play" value in your deck.

What do you say: owl for Stampeding Kodo, mainly because he works very well with aldor peacekeeper. I know 8 mana / 2 card removal is alot, and maybe you don't have him, but he could work well. Have you considered (if you have them) 2 Argent Commanders? They have an immediate effect, so compared say to Sunwalker you will be able to pick your trade soon for the same cost... i really like that card.

What kind of decks are giving you headaches the most? Rush or control?

You are probably WAAAAAAY higher rank then me, but i feel sharing that Shieldbearer turn 1 and Flametongue Totem turn 2 has often given me the upper hand against zoo warlock and charge hunter.

Sorry if that sounds stupid just thought sharing my experience with this combo.

posted a message on Looking for advices on my shaman deck! [rank 13 atm]

wow thanks guys so many inputs! atm i'm missing pretty much all legendaries (except for Tirion, Harrison Jones and Illidan, all from packs) but i have pretty much all rares (although many in 1 copy only, like Knife Juggler, Imp Master, Violet Teacher, another Gadgetzan Auctioneer, just naming a few that may sinegyze in shaman)...

Atm i only have 1 Earth Shock card (i'm a little reluctant crafting commons) but if it's a must have then i'll make one, it's only 50 dust after all.

I forgot to mention that i also have a Doomhammer, although i tend to kill myself pretty quickly with it using it as a removal. Oozes also make me really really sad.

I will remove for sure 1 Unbound Elemental (which seems to slow me down alot), apparently the most popular card to add seems exactly another Earth Shock.

Shieldbearer is a recent addition, since there are so many aggro matchups (mainly hunters and zoo), he happens to be AMAZING as a turn 2 2/4 taunt with flametongue, he usually gives such starts that the opponent can't recover, unless he can't remove the Flametongue Totem with a spell (and by then i'm usually far in the lead) so i'd really like to keep him, if you guys think it's possible.

I don't really know what to remove to add Rockbiter Weapon...

I also tend to agree with xskarma about getting more epics/rares (like Big Game Hunter, Faceless Manipulator, the second Defender of ArgusWild Pyromancer, just to name a few i'm missing)... Although as Pwnfury mentioned with the nerf to tinkmaster many decks will have a little more trouble removing cards like Ysera (4 attack, immediate effect, amazing with argus etc) so crafting it is really tempting, as it could be the finisher i'm looking for (for my paladin deck too).

I don't really have problems (thank god!) doing dailies as my collection is fairly decent,  almost all class rares and some class epics here and there. I never disenchanted cards (not even Hungry Crab ) unless golden having 2 normal, i'm trying to look at the bigger picture :)

The problem is there are so many awesome cards in shaman...!!! It's so hard to choose what to remove for what!!!

gidanoriginale where are you from? are you from Italy too by chance?

So that's the decklist currently. I play 2 mana tide because i don't have Pagle :( I don't really have many epics/legendaries tbh, but have 1600+ dust saved and i'm figuring out what to craft.

The basic strategy of my deck is to try get squire/shieldbearer with flametongue at the opening to deal with early creatures (i will not mulligan a lightning bolt or axe, however).

I try to get the kill with bloodlust or generally poking all the way trough the game. Although if my opponent removes my flametongue totems i'm pretty much screwed to be honest. I alternate the yeti with a tazdingo depending if i'm getting aggro matchups alot, but generally i feel i can't remove the higher cards if i want a chance vs late game decks.

I was thinking about adding a windfury (maybe with an argent commander, i have 2 total), to add some more manpower.

Usually i'm doing ok vs aggro (these shieldbearers and storms do miracles, with feral spirit too) unless i have a very awful opening hand. It's the control decks that out-card me when they start dropping ragnaros, ysera, tirion, maybe even giants.  I know btw that Earth Elemental is a liability, although BGH and Black Knight don't seem to be so popular for me to remove it, so far he has won me way more many games then he has lost me :) Only have one copy tho.

Any help would be really appreciated. Btw i'm new to the forums so a big hallo :)

Hallo, i wanted to try out this deck. I thought replacing the harvest golems with the 1/4 taunt apes for some added sinergy with inner fire early game.

You think the apes suck and won't be able to get any early game trades unlike the golems would? Thank you for posting btw.
