How I wish this to happen. Summoning a total 8 mana cost minions just for it to become a dead meat for BOTH BGH and TBK is just frustrating. TBK is already hard to handle, they should make EE out of BGH range.
Yeah i guess shaman can just shut up and get smashed in the face with the limited options we have in taunts. As retarded as it sounds i think my priest deck handles rush decks much much better then my shaman, but i guess its kind of a fault of how our decks are built.
I mean we put lots of removal in our decks but nothing to actually prevent charge damage from happening... as feral spirits are just too small and give too much overload.
you could use maybe an ancient of war, cenarius, cairne, sylvanas etc
Sadly there's no other playable legendary in my collection atm, The closest to decent is Malygos. would you replace rag with it? Or should i simply craft a Faceless Manipulator? I feel even aggro decks may have value cards to copy like Savannah Highmane or Doomguard...
Btw: i would replace Sen'Jin for Sunwalker. They do very often trade 3:1 and one time a Zoo-Player just ragequitted after i played it...
Comes two turns later though... and alot of people runs Blood Knight these days, that's why i removed Squires from my shaman. It's good vs 1 big minion but they can just sac a damaged golem and run over it with Doomguard. I think Abomination is a much stronger taunter if you specifically want to counter zoo, but i hate the fact that i can't play it in shaman :/ i could give it a shot in druid though.
Maybe the argus for the marks? I really like the fon+roar combo in this deck as with the watchers i feel i lack finishing power when rag gets removed :/
Try this for fun first (not much investment) and see if it really works. The other cards should be fillers like Loot Hoarder , Gnomish Inventor , Novice Engineer to get your combo pieces faster. You still need to survive 10 turns though.
The classic Oasis Snapjaw also works but doesnt have charge so they can respond. That one can go to 36/36 if i'm not mistaken.
Otherwise for shaman Ravenholdt Assassin + Rockbiter Weapon + Windfury is 20 damage. Earth shock taunt. Ravenholdt kind of work-ish because of the stealth, and 5 hp is very hard to aoe.
So it works ok vs these legendary zoo players i get randomly matched up in casual. God bless the MMR system.
Against another legendary player (warrior control) i lost but it was a very close game. I guess i should have kept harrison jones for the faceless'd Tirion Fordring instead of using it on Gorehowl. Oh well.
1 Lay on Hands ? I imagine you take quite a beating smashing minions with weapons all the time, and it could provide you with both card draw and some health. If i u usually stabilize by turn 8 could be a great (and more reliable) replacement for 1 Divine Favor.
So this deck is sort of (but not really) made to deal with the current meta (in theory). Blessing of Wisdom can be used on a turn 1 Flame Imp or Leper Gnome to either provide more options for us to respond with the card draw, or to avoid 6/9 damage in the first 2-3 turns where paladin is slow to respond.
Then I thought, shamans cycle their cheap early game spells with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, druids too, why can't paladins do the same? Both Holy Light and Blessing of Wisdom can be cycled with the Auctioneer.
Running 2 silences in the deck didnt look bad, so these two Spellbreaker can be used to silence an Ancient Watcher vs aggro matchups, or to silence enemy's Cairne / Ysera / Tirion in control matchups.
Argent Protector is a flexible slot, i just think a one of is good to get that sweet trade off a divine shield for cheap later on.
I didn't add the second Wild Pyromancer because i believe there's already enough situational cards in this deck, and didnt want to add another. Equality + Consecration should be enough mass removal.
So far i've tested this deck only in casual, and it seems to do good. For sure it confuses the crap out of your opponents. Now what i would like to add is a Faceless Manipulator, without removing the "early game control spells". Another card i could add (although i don't really see the point of it) is 1 Sword of Justice. Sadly i don't have any Avenging Wrath.
@ Nuba: How do you deal with mid/high range minions with this deck? Say 5-6 health, if you don't have totems to juggle? Also, how do you use Lightning Storm? How long would you wait to cast it against aggro? Don't you feel weak transitioning from early game to midgame to cards like Druid of the Claw and Yeti?
Zoolock is easy to play and cheap, which is the main attraction.
Sorry i had to fix it for you :)
There's shaman, mage and druid decks out there that are very good and as cheap as zoo. The problem is they are not as strong, and let's be honest, require much more thinking then "do i buff the juggler or the shieldbearer"...

After a few modifications;
Does that look better? or... it does really feel like it lacks attacking / removal power though...

I wish they'd buff earth ele to 6 attack.

I see, pretty much like Ancestral Healing + TBK... makes sense :)

I guess i can spare those 100 dusts, the keeper is so versatile.
Other then that you think the deck is decent? I don't really have much experience with druid.

So far i've only been doing druid dailies with it so i don't know if it would cut it in ranked play.
Spellbreaker for the second Keeper of the Grove. Wild Pyromancer for Bloodmage Thalnos. I'm missing those two cards.

Priest. Stormwind Knight + Power Word: Shield + Divine Spirit + Divine Spirit + Inner Fire is exactly 10 mana but only 28 damage. You can play Silence in the same turn if they have a taunt.

I play ancestral + blademasters + the black knight sometimes and it's ok. You need that gadgetzan though to cycle an ancestral healing late game.
You can't have any other situational cards in the deck though otherwise you risk having only rubbish in your hand.

I updated the build with +1 Guardian of Kings and -1 Gadgetzan Auctioneer ... way too much card draw.

I like Duckwingface's build with Silence, fuels pyros and can activate your watchers turn two while still being to heal.

I suppose Argent Protector could go for the second Wild Pyromancer if you really want it, since he can also be used with Blessing of Wisdom and Noble Sacrifice for aoe damage purposes (pretty much like priests do with Power Word: Shield or Silence ).
