This would only work with a new legendary for warlock similar to Chef Nomi or Mecha'thun, and maybe similar to the new mage legendary Mordresh Fire Eye. Something like:
Sargeras, The Destroyer (call it whatever you want)
Battlecry: If your deck is empty, deal 30 damage to all enemies.
OR
Battlecry: If you discarded or burned 15 cards, deal 30 damage to all enemies.
It will enable Tickatus to also work without the Corrupt, so it would be thematic. And opponent's Tickatus or any mill helps too.
Once you draw the legendary you start burning cards and you win. Could be too OP perhaps, who knows.
Yeah HS can be a b**** sometimes. Still I would try Boom Squad, Livewire Lance or Bulwark of Azzinoth to go for a no-minion replacement first, but what it works for you its fine. Good luck!
Also I forgot, Livewire Lance are good too, they can save matches, give more plays while you wait for the late turns, and they work well against secrets (of all classes).
Against Zoo this work pretty well, against Galakrond I didn't have a lot of problems.
Against Tickatus you win by putting pressure as much as you can, big minions going face as soon as you can and making playing tickatus more difficult (also having a shield slam for it helps). Generally the main big condition is Rattlegore followed by a good Dimensional Ripper.
If you still have problems, cut whatever you like for one or two Plagued Protodrake. Against most matchups they will be dead cards but it could help against control decks.
Also an ultimate tech card would be C'Thun, the Shattered, as it adds more cards to counter a bit of Tickatus mill. I tried it before and it makes the draws more inconsistent sometimes (like when you want the Commencement in Turn 7 and you get C'Thun parts) but apart from that it adds some good removal too so try it if you want.
Good luck and tell me if some of this worked for you. To sum, offense is the best defense, keep pressure and face is the place.
I liked the consistency of don't having to worry about pulling Kargath from the big spells, and Athletic Studies gives him often enough for me. And I have seen a lot of Youtubers suffer from pulling him or Deathwing, Mad Aspect so I prefer it this way. If you want to run it, you must run 1 Stage Dive for more consistency. I am fine with double Athletic Studies, In Formation! and Barricade for midgame, the last two pretty underrated.
Yes while Archmage Vargoth is there mainly for getting summoned from Commencement and Dimensional Ripper if you draw it first you can play it turn 6 with In Formation! or the same in turn 9 with a Ceremonial Maul at the end for example. You gain value when you play it and if they don't remove it... the fun begins haha.
That being said, against some decks like Priest and Mage is better to play one/two big minion max at a time to bait mass removal/silence like Soul Mirror, Plague of Death, Devolving Missiles, The Amazing Reno, etc and then play your full board shenanigans.
Also those decks (and other too) runs weapon removal or worse weapon steal so try to gain value of it first like playing Ceremonial Maul + Commencement in the same turn against them. Good luck!

It doesn't need that much to be OP, just make it like:
Lawful Dungeoneer 3 mana 2/3
Battlecry: Draw a spell. If it's Holy, cast it on this minion.
There you have it. It seems innocent in paper, like the cards that Blizzard loves to print, until they release it and shit hits the fan.

I'm already seeing it...
Hunter rare: Tamer Dungeoneer 3 mana 2/3
Battlecry: Draw a minion. If it's a Beast, give it +2/+2.
Or
Battlecry: Draw a spell. If it's a Secret, draw a Beast.
Or
Battlecry: (Any of the previous conditions), summon two 1/1 with Rush.

Control decks are the ones that paid the bills for Blizzard, not the F2P ones. Even if they are not Tier 1 they still need to be playable.
And the 2 decks that hard counter most of other control decks are Control Priest and Control Warlock.
With this nerf I suppose they want to make them less frecuent and allows other control decks to have chance.
If you play control decks you just love seeing in the ladder less Mindrender Illucia and Tickatus that burn your win conditions (like your C'Thun, the Shattered pieces).

Now for more consistency Priest needs a 1 mana 1/3 mercenary legendary that says:
Spell Damage + 1
Your spells have lifesteal.
Call it Bloodpriest Thalnos if you want xD

Area of effect (AOE): Area de efecto, son los ataques que involucran a varios enemigos, en este caso cosas tipo Brawl or Bladestorm

Deathwing, Mad Aspect is better than Barov as an Aoe because of the stats as you said.
I included it with other possible changes for this season I just wrote at the top of the deck's description, if you are interested.

Oh a typo thanks, English is not my first language, its what it is.

It must be my bad luck but I just tried those changes and the very first match I pull Kargath Bladefist of a Commencement.
The worse is that I already had one in my hand that I got from Athletic Studies, I just have 0% winrate against Murphy's Law.
Its like I said above about the HS youtuber Ecore 100 when he plays Big Warrior, is always Kargath. Always haha.

Reaper's Scythe are a good replacement, I have seen the youtuber Ecore 100 play them in his version of Big Warrior.
He also plays Kargath Bladefist and Deathwing, Mad Aspect and suffer a lot of times from pulling them with Commencement and Dimensional Ripper sooo I prefer to not suffer the same haha.
