RRRATTLEGOOORE
The interaction of this card with Libram of Justice (probaby all stat changing effects) is wrong. After killing the 9/1 Deathrattle: Resummon this with -1/-1 I would expect to see an 8/0 that dies instantly not an 8/8.
Now after facing it i assume it's 9/9 into 8/8 into 7/7 etc and it ignores all stat changes. I get the -1/-1 makes a clean card text but it does not reflect what the card does.
It's a tragedy that the voiceline doesn't get higher pitched each time he gets smaller
To the people saying this card is bad: Do you realize how much of a pain in the ass this will be against decks that have no way to silence or transform it (the overwhelming majority of decks)? To clear with damage, this thing requires 45 total damage spread across 9 separate attacks to fully clear. If you can get this down, you have basically won the board for the rest of the game. That's not even including the potential to copy it and buff it. It is a slow card, but warrior can stabilize long enough to get it down on a safe turn, and from that point, you don't instantly win the game, but the momentum of the game swings dramatically in your favor. Without some kind of silence or evolve mechanic (both of which are rare), the opponent basically can do nothing about this.
Winged Guardian is one of the hardest cards to clear in the entire game. Winged Guardian requires 9 damage over 2 separate attacks to clear. This thing, as I said, requires 45 damage over 9 separate attacks. This card is borderline unclearable without silence/evolve mechanics.
Really excited to use this card in my Ripper deck! Speaking of board control, my version of Ripper warrior runs Hack the System which has good synergy with the Big theme since it doesn’t add minions to the deck and it really helps add board pressure during turns when you’re clearing in stead of dropping big minions or casting your Dimensional Ripper. Ceremonial Maul will also help add a little more board presence alongside your 4/3 golems.
If I can get Rattlegore to stick to the board, then the pressure will be immense. Not to mention, if you can pull copies of Rattlegore out with The Boom Reaver or Dimensional Ripper, it’ll be insane!
All hail rattlegore, king of the arena. Too slow for constructed though.
This card + Umbra in wild, seems like fun. One trigger of Emperor can make this happen. It’s not going to be a good combo probably. But it looks really fun. A 10 mana Umbra + 39/39 is big fun.
Sorry, but with 1 emperor trigger Spiritsinger Umbra will cost 3 and Rattlegore, 8, making 11
Plague of Death
Plague of Murlocs
Hex
Polymorph
Devolving Missiles
All kinds of Silence Spells
All kinds of Silence Minions
This one has WAY too many natural Predators to see the Daylight of Ranked play. Its essentially facing the same Fate as Colossus of the Moon.
Is "Resummon" different to "Summon"? What I mean is if rogue gets it and then activates the deathrattle with another card, as it is "Resummon" will it replace the 9/9 with an 8/8 rather than just summon an 8/8 next to a 9/9?
My moneys on you get a 9/9 and an 8/8
I mean IF the game lasts til turn 9 and IF you can safely spend 9 mana to do nothing and IF the opponent doesn't have an answer I guess it's op?
I'm sure it won't, because Blizzard will do some backend code to prevent it, but theoretically this card should give you infinite "Dies" triggers. It would hit 0/0, instantly die, then become a -1/-1, instantly die, and so on.
Kinda a shame that Blizzard will put a stopgate in there, since that makes this card terrible forever. If it had the dies triggers, maybe it could have found a place in a weird combo deck in Wild later on, but 9 mana cards have to be incredibly broken to see any play.
Looking forward to giving this a try in my standard Dimensional Ripper Warrior. I’ve been trying Anubisath Warbringer in this deck lately with pretty good results (had a couple games where I was able to pull out like 4 copies of Anubisath and had lackey’s that were 16/16!). That being said, if this gets buffed in hand, does it respawn as 8/8 regardless or -1/-1 from the buffed stats (ie 11/11 from one Anub buff)?
How this work with cards like Subdue?
It dies....... THE END......
So this happens when is use explosive evolution on my cat, still 9 lives but undead
if you compare Rattlegore with this:
Splitting Festeroot looks soooo much worse....
I wish they would buff this card so it costs less or something. I really like the design, it's sad for me that it is nowhere near playable.
