Well its good to try new things always. Still I don't get the Faceless Manipulator in this deck, is a Paladin Tech?
Yes Blazing Battlemage is boring but is mainly here to prevent a bit early aggro snowballs. Still Mystery Winner could do the same if you roll an Explosive Trap, but you must have a bit of luck too.
Seems interesting, I would go for Deadly Shot against big minions but still seems good to try different things. Good luck!
You could add some card draw if you want too, Hunter doesn't have much but maybe another Tracking or some Manafeeder Panthara to make profit of the Frizz discount, maybe taking out Frozen Shadoweaver but remember that the DH matchup is hard enough even with them in the deck. Also they can work as a freezing trap for a turn too against big minions while you clean the field for a Rotnest Drake kill. So there is that too.
Try it if you want and tell me how it works, I hope it does because I remember Frizz was fun at release.
Wow really good job man, thanks for the highlight. I will upload it in the deck now.
Also I see now thanks to your video that the Faerie Dragon are not needed as much as I thought, and in some of your matches would have been better with Bonechewer Brawler.
So I think I'll make this change, and your video also is a good proof of the motive of this change.
Again thanks for that, and good luck in your climb!
It had Burrowing Scorpid first but I cut it later for Bone Wraith. The Scorpids are good but still in a lot of situations the Scalerider are better. Still is a good inclusion, maybe instead of the Circus Medic.
I didn't include legendaries to keep the deck as cheap as possible (sadly Rotnest Drake is not so cheap already) but yes, both legendaries you mentioned are really good.
I'm trying a mid-control hunter with secrets and some few legendaries (not a highlander but may could go well) and if I get to Legend with it I'll upload it later, if you like that style.
Thanks for the good suggestions, and good luck with your climb!
Mulligan hard for early curve and Stormhammer and trade almost always, try to play Circus Amalgam when you can to make their 4 attack weapon less effective. Then pressure face so when they get taunts from evolve you can finish it from hand.
I taked back 1 Tracking and 1 Ooze for the faerie dragons, maybe too much tech is bad too haha. And yes ooze its not so good because it always comes when they have no more weapons.
I think you are right, I will take out one Tracking an one Ooze for 2 Faeries.
With Demon Companion I have the bad luck of always getting the worst of the three for every situation haha. But if you are lucky then yes its a good option too.
I made some changes in the deck to adapt to this meta climb (December 2020), it may be not the best but I would keep changing them if needed. Any suggestion of changes that you think could work comment it here if you want. The changes are specified in the deck. Good luck!
At least against aggro DH if you somehow win the board in the early (not mid or you are dead) you can win.
Against Soul DH only if you get Stormhammer really early and they have at least some of their lifesteal and soul cards at the bottom of their deck.
That's why I said that is so important to mulligan hard for Stormhammer, the constant damage of it is what give you a chance with most matches. And that's why I put Tracking again as I said in the more recent comments, to get the weapon (or other cards you need if you already have it) more consistently.
Or maybe for the reach if you include Dragonbane you could also include Toxic Reinforcements, that also after summoning the Lepers could have good synergy with Veranus.
For now I'm trying only the changes that I put above because I want the deck to be as cheap as possible being viable, because a lot of people can't have all this expensive cards (Veranus, Dragonbane, Toxic Reinforcements).
This change hurts are I wanted to maintain the theme but the tracking must be necessary in Dragon Hunter because winning depends on getting Stormhammer and Rotnest Drake, especially against decks with heals and tempo like Paladin and DH.
If this works well I'll edit it in the deck later, if not maybe I'll try the Acidic Swamp Ooze or Frozen Shadoweaver, or just go for a different approach with the deck.

I list some changes from the original deck for this season (December 2020) climb:
- 2 Adorable Infestation - 2 Wolpertinger
- 2 Faerie Dragon - 2 Evasive Feywing
+ 1 Tracking + 1 Deadly Shot
+ 1 Acidic Swamp Ooze + 1 Frozen Shadoweaver
+ 2 Hench-Clan Hogsteed + 2 Crimson Hothead
You can make any other change you want. Good luck!

I have tried in the far past, if you want to include it I would say you must run the full dragon package.
So I would make this changes:
- 1 Acidic Swamp Ooze - 2 Bonechewer Brawler - 2 Circus Medic - 2 Scalerider
+ 1 Frizz Kindleroost + 2 Faerie Dragon + 2 Evasive Wyrm + 2 Evasive Drakonid
You could add some card draw if you want too, Hunter doesn't have much but maybe another Tracking or some Manafeeder Panthara to make profit of the Frizz discount, maybe taking out Frozen Shadoweaver but remember that the DH matchup is hard enough even with them in the deck. Yeah it may be needed it, I played a similar deck successfully in May:
https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1349884-tempo-dragon-hunter-d5-legend
It had Burrowing Scorpid first but I cut it later for Bone Wraith. The Scorpids are good but still in a lot of situations the Scalerider are better. Still is a good inclusion, maybe instead of the Circus Medic.
It didn't have Explosive Trap because I relied more in the Bone Wraith + Pack Tactics combo against DH. And if you could add Guardian Augmerchant and Bonechewer Brawler you would have the full pack, but it may be hard in this deck as it has too much "must include" already.
I didn't include legendaries to keep the deck as cheap as possible (sadly Rotnest Drake is not so cheap already) but yes, both legendaries you mentioned are really good.

Now that you said it I'll have to play DH or Pala then. Sorry for trying to make something else work.
(Well at least it worked well for me last climb, proof's above).

Wow is good to see more fans of the cute Toothless Dragons.
And the Diving Gryphon seems like a good answer to those Battlefiend + Beaming Sidekick. God how I hate those.
Good work man! +1 Upvote.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I always keep changing a lot for the meta and what I test.
For now I'm playing with the changes I commented below but still is important to tech for what you like, whenever you feel is needed.

With Veranus won't you need the Wolpers? Or a Unleash the Hounds? And that even more if you want to include Kill Command.
Or maybe for the reach if you include Dragonbane you could also include Toxic Reinforcements, that also after summoning the Lepers could have good synergy with Veranus.

Some changes I'm trying for this month that could work are:
- 2 Wolpertinger +2 Intrepid Initiate
Wolpers are not as good as I thought, so I go back to the Initiates that I had originally.
-2 Circus Medic +2 Tracking
This change hurts are I wanted to maintain the theme but the tracking must be necessary in Dragon Hunter because winning depends on getting Stormhammer and Rotnest Drake, especially against decks with heals and tempo like Paladin and DH.
