This change hurts are I wanted to maintain the theme but the tracking must be necessary in Dragon Hunter because winning depends on getting Stormhammer and Rotnest Drake, especially against decks with heals and tempo like Paladin and DH.
If this works well I'll edit it in the deck later, if not maybe I'll try the Acidic Swamp Ooze or Frozen Shadoweaver, or just go for a different approach with the deck.
In my case it was always almost free wins against paladin, maybe because I mulligan hard for early curve to always maintain board control and don't allow buffs.
Its important that you win board early and keep their board free, with Stormhammer or Scalerider. Also try to play Circus Amalgam in turn 4 to play around their 4 attack weapon.
Basically the key is board control, mainly with weapon so minions stays keeping pressure and so they feel obligated to play taunt that you remove with your mid tempo efficient removal. It won't be perfect without Rotnest Drake but can work.
Sorry the edits my main language its not English that's why.
In Platinum 5 is when I started tracking so the 75% is from there to legend, and that was from 10 days ago when I started to 5 days ago that I reached Legend, and it doesn't seems to have changed that much. But still this deck may not be for everyone and its fine, I'm not good at all playstyles either.
I won't said is an easy deck but if you feel you have problems with aggro or control, tech for them.
Yes I didn't include Dragonbane because I wanted to make the deck cheap, and Circus Medic is basically the same, but is a really good inclusion. What I did to win even against the heaviest control decks with this deck (as the warrior in Rank 1 going to legend that you can see in the top of the stats pic) is to hard mulligan for Stormhammer (all that it isn't that can go) and then Tap-a-LOT. I mean a LOT, like:
The Wolpertinger was a tech against DH as they are single minion efficient removers but Wolper is two minions, so it leaves at least one to buff with Adorable Infestation, and it save me against the eventual priest or hunter with their "Destroy random enemy minion".
So basically I would replace what you like for a Tracking to search for weapon or dragons, or a Toxic Reinforcements and TAP A LOT against control. Against aggro you need to control board from the start (that why so many 1 drops) if not hunter doesn't have good AOEs to comeback.
Or you can go even further for the draw and TAP synergy and go:
Yes Demon Hunter is the hardest because even if you hardly win the board with your mid swings they can go Aldrachi Warblades + Twin Slice + Blade Dance and then heal, attack face and clear your board all in the same turn. Or the Mo'arg Artificer + Felosophy shenanigans for almost the same.
Some would say its balanced because it requires some cards but with the OP draw DH has (which in aggro DH is absurd), I don't think so . You can tech against them and hurt other matchups, but it could be worth it if all you see are DH.
In my case I'm tired of having to tech all decks against DH, in next year rotation I'll see if DH and the rewards system are a little better balanced, if not maybe its time for me to let HS RIP.
Wow thanks, its good to know and I understand the love for the board, I have always liked board midrange decks (shaman, hunter, zoolock and the old dude paladin).
I love Evasive Wyrm and I have played successfully in previous Dragon decks. Still if you don't have Rotnest Drake and you see a lot of Paladin I would include at least Krolusk Barkstripper or Deadly Shot, maybe taking out Circus Medic which will be less efective now you don't have four 5 mana minions to activate it early.
Oh I remember trying Tasty Flyfish like a year ago in Dragon Hunter, it had the problem that sometimes you don't have a dragon in your hand in the first two turns and the effect was wasted.
But still you can try it if you want, it just that in this meta I would say if you want techs it may serves better an Acidic Swamp Ooze, Cult Neophyte or maybe Frozen Shadoweaver against decks like Demon Hunter, Paladin and Shaman which are the most common decks now.
Still it could be a cool idea to try an Amalgam Murloc Dragon Hunter with Tasty Flyfish, Circus Amalgam and Skyfin and see if it could be viable haha.
No 1 mana discover card is just example. 3 mana 3/2 is good? lol how you gonna kill that now huh? That card is so good with Risky Skipper but on Paladin it need consecration to clear the board. When you wanna clear the board you dont need it next turn you need it now! You never can trigger deathrattle efficiently.
You say 5 mana 8/8 is good, thats not bad but it cant finish game and if buff cant finish game it will removed effieciently or get silenced . How many games you played with pure or just libram paladin this year? Probably not so much right? I played goddamn 700 games with it and i think its enough to realize in turn 5 you will have no minion to buff or will be just dead. If Lord Barov's deathrattle was spellburst it would have been atleast get close to other class legendaries. I these agree Paladin cards are not bad but they are not even close to power level of other class cards.
As I said in another post, Pure Paladin ISN'T the only deck that can be viable.
or Burrowing Scorpid. Play the Blessing in turn 5 and don't attack with that minion. Turn 6 you can go face with it or even play something like Blessing of Might + Blessed Champion so now your Burrowing Scorpid is a 5/2 + 8/8 = 13/10 + 3 atk= 16/10 x 2 atk = 32/10 to the face.
I know there are classes that can deal with this but others don't, It won't work always but it is viable.
Remember not all decks need to be Tier 1 to be playable. I think a combo deck like this would be FUN.
I truly believe that Animated Broomstick will be a staple in mid-range Paladin. We can generate big bodies but most of the time they are defense ones except with Argent Braggart which is an insane enabler to be used for.

Some changes I'm trying for this month that could work are:
- 2 Wolpertinger +2 Intrepid Initiate
Wolpers are not as good as I thought, so I go back to the Initiates that I had originally.
-2 Circus Medic +2 Tracking
This change hurts are I wanted to maintain the theme but the tracking must be necessary in Dragon Hunter because winning depends on getting Stormhammer and Rotnest Drake, especially against decks with heals and tempo like Paladin and DH.
If this works well I'll edit it in the deck later, if not maybe I'll try the Acidic Swamp Ooze or Frozen Shadoweaver, or just go for a different approach with the deck.

One change that I made that is better against DH but not Paladin is -2 Intrepid Initiate +2 Wolpertinger.
You can reverse that and then mulligan for Intrepid Initiate and Adorable Infestation to counter their Aldor Attendant + Libram of Wisdom.
Or Dwarven Sharpshooter + Corrosive Breath could work too.
Its important that you win board early and keep their board free, with Stormhammer or Scalerider. Also try to play Circus Amalgam in turn 4 to play around their 4 attack weapon.
Generally then they play in the mid something big with buffs like High Abbess Alura or Aldor Truthseeker, that's where I would play Rotnest Drake and win but in your case you can play Deadly Shot and Evasive Wyrm or Krolusk Barkstripper and Cobalt Spellkin to counter that. Replace Circus Medic if you want, I didn't played them until high ranks and I still won against all paladins so its not necessary.

Against aggro as I said in a previous comment you can replace Evasive Feywing and Circus Medic with Bone Wraith and Acidic Swamp Ooze or Khartut Defender.
Or as I said before include more card draw with Manafeeder Panthara or Tracking if you think you need it against control.

Turn 3 Stormhammer, turn 4 Faerie Dragon and Tap instead of Evasive Feywing, turn 5 Primordial Explorer and Tap instead of Big Ol' Whelp (And discover a 4 mana dragon instead of 6 so I can play it and Tap next turn) and like this all the match.

+ 2 Manafeeder Panthara +2 Scavenger's Ingenuity + 1 Dragonbane
The Circus Amalgam are beasts too so Scavenger give you a buffed Panthara for more draw or a buffed dragon with Taunt, both good.

I add a cheap Hunter Deck for the ones who didn't get Maxima, it highlights both the Circus and the theme HS brought in this last expansion.
I get from Platinum to Legend with 75% winrate with this deck I made, just for the ones who need it:

A possible inclusion could be Animated Broomstick, as it allow you to do a Turn 5 Boggspine Knuckles -> Turn 6 Totem Goliath + Animated Broomstick to fill with totems before the swing.
Or just to make more use of the evolved minions after you swing giving them Rush. Just an idea as I don't know what you could cut it for.

And you can add some Manafeeder Panthara, which are beasts and with 2 Tour Guide aren't a bad option too.

As I said in another post, Pure Paladin ISN'T the only deck that can be viable.
You want a Risky Skipper for Lord Barov? How about Animated Broomstick? Which also synergies with all the Divine Shield minions of Paladin. (You can also run it with Teron Gorefiend if you try Quest Paladin).
You want Blessing of Authority to not be easily removed or silenced? Just run a stealth minion like Escaped Manasaber
or Burrowing Scorpid.

They just need to un-nerf Equality to 2 mana, or at least 3. And release more cheap AOE and card draw.
Here a card I made for example that could work well with Equality, Libram of Justice and the new legendary Lord Barov:
I made it in 5 minutes and could be broken but still, its really necessary something like this in Paladin, at least for Standard.
1
The dream, playing second (obviously heavy dependant on luck in mulligan and draw like Hand of A'dal to get the cards):
Turn 1: Aldor Attendant > 2: Hand of A'dal > 3: Aldor Attendant + Hand of A'dal >
4: Coin + Aldor Truthseeker > 5: Aldor Truthseeker >
6: Libram of Hope (3 mana) + Argent Braggart + Animated Broomstick
8 healing + one 8/8 with divine shield, other probably 8/8, and both with Rush with the Broom.
The chances are low but I know sooner or latter it will happen, at it will be glorious. WELL MET!

Priest are going to be so happy when they get this card from you for free. SO. HAPPY.
