Great minds think alike, we started the same way and came up with a similar name. I would appreciate you trying some of the elements I'm using and share your thoughts

Mana addict is very unreliable, as for questing adventurer, I haven't actually tested him, I'm just concerned with having too many similar effects stacked in the deck and ending up with all of them in the hand. Feel free to try him out, I would be very interested in the results.

Glad you are liking it. I personally look away from auctioneer, as you usually don't run out of cards, and you are not necessarily drawing into any combos or key cards, minus sherazin. Do tell though, how it performs for you. The other changes seem reasonable.

As for ranks, I'm comfortably touring around 7 and still climbing, so it definitely is performing, to say the least ^^

I don't understand getting rid of the card for the mere fact that barely anyone is playing it anymore. Removing this and ragnaros, cards that do nothing against shamans that can fill the entire board almost every turn.

Blizzard clearly stated that they do it in favour of releasing deathrattle themed build support in the upcoming expansions.
Remember when they nerfed Blade Flurry to "free design space" and be able to print new exciting powerful weapons for Rogues?
    Where are them?
''Blade Flurry is a problem because it enables both board clear and heavy burst damage, and it’s also an obstacle to adding better cards for Rogues. To address these issues, the cost of Blade Flurry is moving from 2 to 4 mana, and it will now only affect minions, so that Rogues have to choose between removing threats or damaging the enemy Hero''

Here's the quote from Blizzard, pardon me, but I can't really tell where they mention anything weapon related. As far as weapons go, Rogue isn't really in a bad spot, it's just that other options are far superior. To be fair to your comment, disregarding weapons, an abundance of good cards weren't really offered for the class, but a couple outstanding ones sure were.

posted a message on Ragnaros is rotating to Wild

I have always hated Ragnaros, not because of it's power or design, but mostly because of the asymmetry. Both players playing the same card should not yield very different outcomes in a match, but Ragnaros, next to Yogg Saron was the epitomy of such cases. The fact that it was undoubtedly the best 8 mana neutral drop for a while now and as such a must include in certain decks, will make it's rotation at the very least result in a lot less bitterness for some players.

As a card I don't really have a problem with him though, love it, hate it... for this one I don't particulary care actually.

It's likely sylvanas in conjunction with N'zoth synergies might be too powerful in such an environment, similar how kazakus pushes reno decks powerlevels significantly, which is kind of a problem right now. I'm sad to see it go too, but I can understand their reasoning at least.

Giving full dust value.  Not sure I want to dust my Golden Sylv though.

You don't have to. You get to keep her and they'll give you 3200 dust, and if you have a regular Sylvanas as well that's an extra 1600 dust added with it.
If I have 3200 spare dust now, and craft golden sylv, then wait for patch to hit, I get 3200 for her then I can dust her for additional 1600
Am I missing something or I should actually CRAFT the cards rotating out?
Blizzard stated explicitly that you will not be able to disenchant said cards, you will merely get the dust for those cards. Therefore, if you have any spares of said cards, e.g. 3 azure drakes, you should disenchant one before they rotate out.

    Proven wrong.

So, if i got it right i can dust now my regular sylvanas and ragnaros  (+800 dust), craft now golden sylvanas and golden ragnaros (-6400 dust), then when they rotate i take my 6400 dust back? 2 golden iconic legendary for free?

     Read my above reply.

"There should be more five drop options for players, rather than considering Azure Drake an auto-include."

THEN WHY DIDN"T YOU MAKE ANY MORE!??!?!?!

GAH! I DON"T UNDERSTAND THESE DEVELOPERS!!!

They are removing one of the only good spell damage cards in the game. BY THE WAY there are only TWO. Azure and Thalnos, and Thalnos is a legendary! Spell damage is a control/combo mechanic, not an aggro mechanic, so WHY ARE THEY TAKING OUT CONTROL/COMBO TOOLS!?!?!?!!?

Control combo tools my arse. If you want to run combos that put emphasis on spellpower you should be making sacrifices for it. At least that's my humble opinion. Making room for Azure Drakes in a deck is hardly an effort, the card carries absolutely zero opportunity cost and is insane on many levels. Have you heard of that aggro shaman deck on ladder? The one that besides Thalnos and Azure Drakes has literally 0 card draw in their deck? I'm pretty sure, they included those just for the combo potential with their burn spells...

I have been speculating on the card's nerfs for over a year now and this solution is absolutely elegant. After voting I'm slightly disappointed the majority of the community have opposite feels on the matter.

Hearthstone lab by Lezhin, I recommend you check it out. The content chronologically speaking is a bit outdated, but I think it still strikes true to a lot of players.

90 percent sure there was a demon tag on it on the stream, might want to get that fixed.

Edit: as the gentleman above me also pointed out.

Doesn't fit the current reno decks, can it be made to work? We will see - I remember one of kazakus potion options was getting demons. There's some synergy there.

    My 2 runs

Worth noting that I had a 8-1 record against shaman, so if you expect a lot of those, you can do well, I suppose. My losses were against tempo mage and anyfin paladin. The first - I just don't understand the matchup very well - damage calculation, expectancy what the mage can do, playing around certain cards - I did really bad at that. Anyfin is just almost unbeatable with this deck, but I did tech in a tinkmaster for the second run, and almost one it - it came down to a rag 50/50 in the end which I lost.

Rewards wise would the people whohave done it say it's worth it?

If you ask all of the people who played: The answer would clearly be no. Simply because on average (all games counted) you get three wins (for every win there is a loss and after 3 losses you're out) and with three wins you still did not reach the break even point. So most People who Play this brawl will not get in value what they paid for.
However, I expect that most people who post here will have done better. Noone is coming here and brag about his 0-3 run only to hear how dumb he is to have participated in heroic brawl.
I mean, that's one way to look at it. Personally I enjoy the experience, so far in fact, that I was coerced in doing a 3rd run. It's not just the rewards, you have a certain drive here that you don't really find in ranked.

I want to try it out, but 1000g is quite a bit of gold. I read somewhere that if you haven't reached Legend, you shouldn't try it out. How true is that statement?

I wouldn't say you need to have reached legend to do well, but a thorough understanding of matchups and the meta is a big plus.

    My 2 runs

I played control warrior, here's the list:

    heroic brawl control warrior
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (11) Ability (16) Weapon (3)
    Loading Collection

Record against shamans is 8-1 by the way, with the one loss being extremely close. I had a loss in each of my runs against a tempo mage and an anyfin paladin, the 2nd anyfin I almost won, after I included a tinkmaster instead of shield block.
