    I've played a lot of games with this deck. If you don't draw the lens, you can run out of steam by turn 5-6.

    And sometimes even when you do draw the lens, it doesn't work out as you wish. Or, your opponent has an answer.

    I don't feel this deck is nearly as oppressive as Warrior or Mage.

    Won enough games today with this deck to gain 5 stars at rank 4. It's good.

    I'm not convinced Nomi is worth it though. I never played a game where I actually emptied my deck and used Nomi to win. You've either won by that point or you've lost.

    Furthermore Nomi is risky with Prismatic Lens as others have noted. You can end up with a 7 cost Tip The Scales which is useless normally.

    I'm also not sold on Salhet's Pride. I'd rather just use a Loot Hoarder.

    Anyway I recommend this and surprisingly I see almost no Hungry Crabs out there so you can really destroy an opponent who can't handle your board. But I suggest including two x Truesilver for extra face damage or threat removal, and dropping Nomi.

    I realize it's early days for the new meta, but I am already unimpressed.

    The most powerful decks remain Control Warrior (boring, and made stronger with the taunt package), Conjurer's Mage (unbelievably, now equipped with a secret that clears the board vs. aggro), and the newest cancer of them all, Murloc Paladin (Prismatic Lens on turn 4 = almost certain victory.)

    And of course, Mech Hunter is back and as disgusting as ever.

    It does not appear that many new archetypes are going to make it to tier 1.  I predict within another week or so we're back to almost the same place we were before the expansion launched. With the notable exception of Murloc Paladin. Ugh.

    if you use the Shaman quest you could get all four options...

    and it makes Shudderwock far more threatening.

    I just don't get it. There is no murloc synergy in Paladin - (standard) - right now.

    Dragon Paladin could use some love. None.

    The Quest for Paladin requires reborn minions. We have seen none so far. So WTF is this?

    Finally, it appeared like we'd have some aggro/beast Paladin game this expansion with the first three cards they revealed. 

    I'm so confused, and don't see anything working here.

    Absolutely busted with reborn minions. Even that mummy they released earlier, Rush/Reborn? My lord, you can copy it with this card and get the rush/reborn mechanic again. Copying a damaged frothing bezerker just gives me nightmares too.

    This is just amazing.

    In addition to all the advantages people have already noted, if you play Murloc Shaman, it allows you to potentially turn a bunch of crummy tokens you may be stuck with into Murlocs. E.g. Lackeys, or totems, etc.

    If you are facing 4 mountain giants, suddenly they're just murlocs. 

    If your opponent has one or two massive taunts on the board, again, poof, they're gone.

    I am a Shaman fan (full disclosure), but this card is just great as it puts major risk back into decks that run huge minions. Those decks should not feel like they just can't lose if they hit their curve.

    Works well with Twilight Drake, and probably Sea Giants too.

    Glowstone Technician also comes to mind.
