I am not a fan of waiting and try to build at least one strong deck and craft what i need. Yes it´s possible that it fails but if you wait till the meta has settled, going legend becomes a massiv grind, so if you want to go for it you should be ahead. I already have 2-3 possible decks on the radar to try and depending on what i get i will go for them. But of course think more then twice when you craft. If you are not a deckbuilder/theocrafter then wait ;-).
if u are tight on dust money etc i would say to not craft in the first 3 weeks. i know it sounds horrible but as a f2p i have experienced bad stuff when crafting early. example: witchwood i crafted Baku day one. i ran odd paladin cause it was a strong aggro deck at the start that just died 2 weeks after cause of even paladin powerhouse and the call to arms. i think people said it was probably the best deck in HS history cause it pratically didnt lose against everything. many ppl said they reached Legend for the first time in years cause of it. meanwhile i was left with an odd paladin that got shit on by even pally and controlock.
granted baku is an insane card nevertheless but u want to wait and see what works in the present day. wait 3 weeks and profit
What are you talking about? Odd Paladin is still one of the strongest decks both in standard and wild. Maybe NOT THE STRONGEST, but one of the strongest nonetheless
If it's replaceable don't craft it. Me I'm playing for fun with tess and the likes but in reality play what's fun/good for you. But epics and legendaries cost more so think them through. With it being the last expansion before rotation the cards will have smaller effect now but when the rotation comes that could change so try to think long term too. In MTG there van be benefits from early chances but in this economy it doesn't change when you craft so if you're unsure wait a bit.
I will craft jeklik day 1 because it feels fun and good. Frog will be played if shaman is played. Same with zantimo. Oondasta is prob safe. Zuljin same. Deathknights always good. Thekal is good if heal is good. Akali is strong bc spirit is strong. Shark could be broken or just horrible...
Seems like Katie had good thoughts on the individual cards too so check that.
so there is no f2p veterans ?
im confused
Zul jin seems a pretty safe craft.

The moment it releases, the by far most fun part of of hs is right after release, when deck building actually matters
Thanks to my golden Whizbang the Wonderful I don't need to craft anything ahahah!
English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
and you dont need to get legend I guess :D
Ty all for the suggestions.
Craft King Mukla
Legend is boring, Whizbang is Wonderful.
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
Why DO you need to get legend if you aren't pushing for HTC?
Rank 20-15 FTW.
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

If you're not high on resources, I'd say wait a month, specially since the Worlds Championship is about to happen with probably a few surprises.
I have 15k dust and I'm not crafting anything until then, just playing with what I open or with Whizbang.
