Firstly sorry for my bad english but i think its clear enough. I made a test and wanna tell u the results.
I played 10 games with low tier decks, and u know the opponents playing resurrect priest, mill rogue, aggro paladins etc..
Every match i said greetings at the start of the game. 2 of them answered as greetings and 8 have no answer.
And 7/10 players clicked greetings when they have lethal or i concede. It is a really big problem. Does it really makes you happy if i get angry or feel bad? You are much worse than militants, thiefs because u like to harm people for no reason. I don's see any difference with you and sadists.
Again, sorry for my annoying english. It just makes me sad that 70% - 80% of people do not hesitate attacking when there is no law.
Based on what I've seen from previous emote related threads, the 8 people who didn't greet back are probably fragile little princesses who think greeting at the beginning of the game is BM
"You are much worse than militants, thiefs because u like to harm people for no reason. I don's see any difference with you and sadists. "
How do you jump from meaningless emotes in a virtual card game to that baffling conclusion? Might want to check up on that sensitivity of yours mate, you knocked it out of the park with that one.

Nah stopping being edgy and emotional . The majority of people are good persons, otherwise our society and its laws would never have taken place in the first place. Anyway people are assholes on the internet because they vent off their real life frustrations or they are simply douches. In my opinion is better to vent off your negative emotions in the least harmless way possible than letting them fester inside you.
Even good people can become mean sometimes, so for your own sake grow a backbone and do not let everthing get you.
I usually just squelch as soon as I can, because I don't care about my opponent feelings. I'm only concerned how he plays and what he plays. That is why I don't usually answer to greetings because I'm already squelched my opponent.
Only 10 games is not anywhere near enough replicants to make general assumptions about Hearthstone player personalities
To answer your question though, it gives me great pleasure emoting "Thanks" or "Disappointing" in the case of Uther of the Ebon Blade, etc. when I win a game. And it's only funnier now that you compared me to sadists and murderers.
Yep, most of us are chaotic evil. If you are not familiar with Dungeons and Dragons, you can find the definition of chaotic evil using Google. We are totally f..king crazy and we are worse than thieves and even assassins. Fear us, for there is no escape to our wrath and madness. :)

Speak for yourself. I'm definitely more lawful than chaotic, but probably more neutral than lawful
What makes you think HS attracts chaotic evil sorts anyway? This seems rather random for a cartoonish children's card game. Wouldn't it be more appropriate for a FPS or those Town of Salem type games?

A cartoonish children's card game is perfect for chaotic evil people, after all, we don't take life seriously, everything is a joke for us. :P
Honestly, because of so much BM in the game, I wait for the first seconds of the first turn, to see if the opponent greets, so that I can greet back. Then I autosquelch.

There is so much braindead shit here, I don't know where to really begin. It's a problem that people express themselves differently each match? You don't hardly consider just what they mean when they emote. Said it yourself, you were playing low tier decks. You don't think it could be that you played poorly? You may have appeared as a joke, and I can tell it might be how you handle a lot of your business, because look at this post. It's a fucking joke. We're worse than thieves and militants because you're sensitive? It's not harmful to click a button that produces a small amount of sound. "It just makes me sad that 70% - 80% of people do not hesitate attacking when there is no law." Grow the fuck up.
I want to clarify my first post in this thread was a joke, just in case someone out there really thinks I take seriously the Dungeons and Dragons alignement system. XD

I thought you were trying to bait people as usual and highlighted it for visibility lol

OP realizes that *all* emotes are BM, right? Militants and sadism and thieves? It's a game dude.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I'll not squelch. There are rare people greeting me at the start of game.
People in general are this way when playing online games. Play a MOBA and then consider your question again.
I squelch my opponent everytime I'm playing on ranked ladder, and you should probably do the same.
I'm waiting for an auto-squelch button, but Blizzard took months before making more than 9 deck slots so I'm not optimistic about this.
I usually just squelch as soon as I can, because I don't care about my opponent feelings. I'm only concerned how he plays and what he plays. That is why I don't usually answer to greetings because I'm already squelched my opponent.

Dude !
We're talking about a bunch of virtual characters saying stupid lines at each other for the fun of people playing with them.
This has nothing to do with a person's attitude in real life.
If you can't separate real life emotions from a childish game then you might have a real problem...

"I won't squelch even though it puts me through such trauma for them to emote me. Someone save me. I must have my White Knights."
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
