Thats it, i finally had enough of this rng fiesta. Wanna thank everyone thats posted here so we could share the insanty. The game started out great, ive had alot of fun in the beginning but around Mean Streets its started to go sour :/ the last straw was dh and ofc rogue with their discover right answer all the time. Time to move on, best of luck to all of you.
4 matches this morning playing as secrets galakrond rogue. Walked 2 matches - very easy wins. Lost the other two. One DH and the other casino mage.
The DH just drew everything needed to win with the last card played during turn 9. My card draw was slow and non optimal. Against casino mage RNG bailed out the mage. The mage was down to last three cards. Summoned two charge minions for 8 damage and then obviously had a pyroblast to finish me off. Throughout the match the mage RNGed out every aoe and ice spell to slow me down.
I will now just autoconcede against mage. The matches are predictable in that 'RNG' always finds a way. It is zero fun to play against. I almost always lose to mage for this reason so might as well save myself 30mins.
If you play standard decks in wild, please go fuck yourself. I play Wild to especially not see the retarded bullshit happening now in standard. Urghhhh people would sell their family to get a win in a game.
Playing ladder. Standard format. 5 games (that is how many I endured!). 1 of them versus hunter...AND 4!!! VERSUS PRIEST. Resurrect into resurrect..into resurrect..into resurrect...into resurrect...into thoughtsteal..gala without invoke cards for infinite value..cause..why not?..cards created even by themselves.. decks that use 2-3 minions at most!...minions that you have the pleasure (sarcasm OBVIOUSLY) to kill GOD KNOWS how many times each!!!!!!
They can hit even bronze players. Solem sometimes fights with them due to broken matchmaking. The old ranked was better. Increasing rewards was a good move tho
so fking glad DH and face hunter exists just cuz stupid ass brainfuck class like rogue exists who single handedly counters all other control decks and anything in between.

Hear hear! That pretty much sums up 90% of my posts in this thread - people at janky ranks in wild (silver, mostly) playing tier standard decks, for whatever dumb reason they have. Zero issue with it if they're doing it legitimately (it's a silly way to do it - can't remember the last time a carbon-copy standard deck was wild-competitive; even something like Cubelock had wild additions to it like Mal'ganis), but it's unforgivable if they're farming wins at low ranks with a deck that could actually get a fair amount of wins in high ranked standard.
Then again, by default someone that thinks a standard-competitive deck should be played in wild probably isn't the greatest player around, so needs that handicap to get easier wins.

What Standard meta deck right now performs good in wild? Wild has way more powerful decks for literally every class.
A Standard Deck should be destryoed in wild easily.

Absolutely, no disagreement - buuut, a competitive standard deck in low ranked wild vs a janky deck (Dispatch Kodo combo hunter, for example) can do quite well, because those janky decks are akin to kitchen table decks in physical card games; they aren't competitive level even if they're relatively well built. Reminds me of the time I was playing some explicitly casual games of Magic on Tabletop Sim, and someone brought a carbon copy Thopter-Depths deck (which had been a plague of extended format when that used to be a thing), and had no idea why they got targetted by everyone at the table.
I don't auto-concede vs such decks because of the fact I have wild cards and that the deck is relatively well built gives me at least a chance, but yeah, it's annoying to have to play against a standard deck when I use wild jank to escape such nonsense. If you're asking what the opponent's mindset might be - no idea at all. Perhaps they've gotten to some sort of decent rank in standard, want to farm some low rank wins to get some credit towards 500/1000 wins, but don't have any decent wild archetypes? That's just about all I can think of - it should be obvious to anyone with a couple brain cells that any entirely-standard deck is very likely going to have an easier time in standard.

This happens because of IQ 2000 people who DE their entire collection at rotation because "WiLd Is CaNcEr! I wIlL pLaY sTaNdArD oNlY. StAnDaRd iS bEtTer." and then when standard turns out to be cancer because it always is but idiots never learn they take the only decks that they have and try to play wild. You still need to be extremely bad at the game or playing complete jank at trash ranks to lose to them but at least now you know why it happens.
DH enables terrible players to get legend. Half my friends list are now legend, and most never were before. They’re all spamming DH games with the exact same deck.
The problem is the consistency and power of the early middle game. Every DH minion needs to be removed immediately or it gets out of control far too fast, particularly satyr. Then if you survive this, you enter into the insane early middle game where DH tools are bigger and scarier than anyone else’s. By far.
Manage to get a taunt or two up? Doesn’t matter, they will either melt it (and your face) with war glaives or bypass it completely with sunfury or metamorphosis.
Manage to keep the board under control by turn five? Doesn’t matter as, unless you also put stuff on the board while clearing theirs, priestess will come down, kill anything you have put in place, and force you into paying such a high removal price, that your death is coming anyway. How many times have I been in this exact scenario over the past few weeks? I’ve actually lost count.
Priestess by turn five is the most consistent and stupid overpowered play the game has ever seen. And I don’t think it’s even close. Feels bad to face this so regularly.
It’s not even the power level, it’s just I want to escape the whole Galakrond bullshit and such. It was an Highlander Hunter I faced. Not even that strong, just I hate Zephrys with a passion.
Anyhow, I’m starting to like facing DH as, at least, there is not reveal that revealed the oh you are fucked bullshit card. I know what I have to play around. Between rogue and mage right now I have to play around the whole standard cards, meaning I play curve and fuck it. Feels arena man.
Casual is simply unplayable. If not DH, I face Galakrond rogue. It is absurdly dull gameplay. One game you try to save your face, another game you play against rogue with billion cards, having only 30 cards.
Not playing standard until DH or Galakrond Rogue are dealt with. The game is as dull and frustrating as it was during the wave of Evolve Shaman last summer and other than that period, I can’t remember a time it was less fun to play the game.
YEAH when fucking priest with fucking murzond turn 8 then psychic conjurer bitch into lightning storm against full bord to clear becouse why fucking not <3. RNGSTONE. Demon Hunters with Priestess of fury and Glavehound adept or the card it is. Nice just nice when you play deck and they play rollercoaster.
Aggro Demon Hunter is pretty easy to counter with just about any well constructed control deck -- and CONTROL Demon Hunter is a thing. I've been playing it pretty successfully with a >75% win rate against aggro Demon Hunter. However, it gets absolutely crushed by certain other decks. That's the ebb and flow of Control > Aggro > Combo > Control. I'm sure the Demon Hunter popularity is mostly just a result of people who want the gold hero portraits and that will taper off. I don't particularly find it incredibly imbalanced. That title belongs SOLELY in the hands of Rogue...
Flik single handedly has the power to destroy your best cards or kill combos, Blackjack Stunner has the ability to bounce AND render late game cards completely unplayable AND simultaneously reduce opponent hand size for as little as 1 mana, their Galakrond hero power is unlimited value, they have the strongest "discover" mechanics in the game and virtually ensure they find what they need whenever they need it, they have more draw than any other class, most of that draw also comes with a body, a weapon, or a significant reduction to card cost, they get to play a MINIMUM of 7/30 of their cards for 0 mana regardless of original cost, they can develop a larger than 10/10 Edwin Van Cleef AND a full board of additional minions on any given turn, they have access to every secret from every class, the highest damage per mana cost spells in the game (even stronger than MAGE), many of which can EITHER go face or hit minions and ALL of which enable "combo" cards. Even when they draw terribly and low roll every RNG outcome, they can still be competitive with just about any deck.
FUCK the new ranking system!!!!
Legend players should only face Legend players and not Diamond or Platinium players!!!!
Nice job Blizzzzz
Had to create a new profile because "something" went wrong with Hearthpwn!! Lost all my shit and they couldn't fix it they say!
Shame on you Heartpwn in these digital days!!
Oh yeah.….and FUCK Brainless Aggro

Sick of playing against braindead DH. Made deck specifically to counter them, can not find any DH now. what is this piece of garbage, not a real game.
