Go Wide (Play lots of little minions)? Priest just uses it's AOE to kill everything.
Go Tall (Play a few giant minions)? Twilight Acolyte actively punishes you for it.
Grind them down? It's priest, you can't grind them down.
Play a combo deck? Psychic Scream easily puts a bunch of junk into your deck making drawing your combos that much harder, even if you yourself play no/few minions.
Priest is looking like a class I'm going to Auto Concede against until next April :/
Okay it’s unfair to judge priest power before expansion (hell at least wait for all the cards are release)
Not necessarily. The class was already extremely strong, and just with what we know already, it's obviously getting stronger. Even VS is saying we are likely headed for a Priest dominated meta.
The only unanswered questions are if the other top decks will have enough chance to win to at least keep some amount of diversity, and if the high price of building the decks will still keep enough people away.
All I can say is, giving a deck that already had probably the best overall removal package in the game even more removal, probably wasn't the best idea.

I wanna glide down, over Mulholland I wanna write her, name in the sky I wanna free fall, out into nothin' Gonna leave this, world for awhile
Highlander and Big Priests decks are top for a reason. Even decks that are designed to fight them will have a tough time. I know it is frustrating to lose to a control deck since it coming with the despair of having all your moves countered, but this class being so popular means that their weaknesses, and how to deal with them are well known by the community.
If you're dealing with tough control decks like that, you can make plays they have a tough time dealing with. Decks like Jade Druid are easily able to keep rebuilding what Priests destroy, and eventually overwhelm them. Just don't over commit your minions if you're expecting an area spell, and use 4-attack minions whenever possible.
I've been able to keep a respectable win rate against Priests this expansion by understanding how their decks work, and I hope the rest of you will too.

Play Priest... Draw better

By playing To my side Hunter ofc.
Smorc as quick as you can. Control is useless until Raza leaves.
I'm crafting two golden To My Side! on launch day. Priests will flee in terror!
Or die laughing. Either way, I win.
Control Warrior will have a good matchup against them.
Tbh Quest Rogue will become Stronger with all these bounce back effects (Sonja, Elven Minstrel, Cheat Death, Ferral Gibberer "lul").
Psychic Scream will also hurt other Priest so it could be possible that Razza Highlander Priest dies to Dragundin .
I assume all HS players were just going to boycot Priest enmasse. Kappa
King Togwaggle
Give up on ladder, play casual, auto-concede every Priest. What an awful, awful meta that is shaping up.
Unless there is a new neutral card that says, "Battlecry: Destroy every spell in your opponent's deck that costs 5 or more", we are screwed.
arch bishop benedictus
"How do we beat Priests now?"
Play priest and have more luck in draws.
It is the only way, priest become invencible, unbeatble, GOD TIER 0, every single other class is just dead until rotation and forever in Wild.
The game will have 4 Priest decks at the top, so you won't even know which one you are facing and it will mess up your plays.
Goodluck to all HS players. Play Priest or prey you don't face Priest or both.

It is gonna be an even lamer meta than koft . I will stick to casual ....
