Ive been going on a good winstreak with my midrange hunter deck so far, and apparently i got so many wins with it today that a message popped up after i won saying that i already earned my 100 gold for today... was that there since forever cuz thats the first time i see it, damnit blizzard we arent allowed to even grind gold to buy your stingy packs.
The 100 gold limit is really unfair because Arena players can go infinite with 3-4 wins average, which is extremely easy, and farm a lot more gold than constructed players.
I honestly couldn't care less about the bots farming infinite gold, it doesn't affect my experience at all, the 100 gold limit does. I am F2P for the first time, got 80 packs since ungoro release, and I lack half the legs, many epics and even some rares. Sure, I don't need all the cards, I am already close to legend rank with non-cancer deck, but if I want more cards/gold/dust before the next expansion, I am forced to farm Arena and NOT enjoy the new cards in got in packs, because 150 gold per day in constructed is not enough.
Imo they should remove the gold limit, but also remove the gold reward from casual mode.
I have to correct you there. You cannot go infinite unless you hit 7 wins. Three makes you break even, but ONLY if you actually count the card pack as being 100 gold won.
Hasn't there been a limit since day one? Almost every card game imposes a limit, since they need to make money and if they didn't impose a limit, people would see no reason to spend any real money.
It's fairly easy with hunter to get that 30 wins in a day, but any control or slower deck will take literally all day. I do wish there was a slight increase in what you can earn though.

There was no limit at first. When the shaman botters took over the ranked blizzard made the gold limit in early days.
Why are botters an issue for players? They still have to win. They don't impact the enemy player experience negatively unless they deliberately rope every turn. They have no advantage over real people, and they quite possibly wouldn't know they are playing bots.
And suppose someone makes a bot that can win games and gets lots of gold and cards. Then what? The whole point would be to play...so whoever it is would then play with all these cards, but they'd have no experience playing. Also, lots of cards don't guarantee wins anyways. There are budget decks that can make it to top ranks (legend even, I think). I don't think bots would affect my experience at all.
The reason that matters is that they want people to buy more, so the more money people can make, the less money Blizzard makes. This is the only reason.

Exactly.
Bots are only as smart as their creator, and most people who feel the need to use a bot to play a game are fucking morons.
It's a way to level the playing field between players with limited time or slow decks, and players with a lot of time or fast decks. I hit the wall occasionally playing control decks, but extremely often when playing aggro.
It's true that bots doesn't impact other players experience but if Blizzard didn't take any actions to prevent infinite gold farming than literally everybody would use a bot in order to get all the cards without investing any time or money. Basically everybody will get a complete collection for free, but you all know that Blizzard is not a charity company.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Also, if that's the case, why doesn't every player use a bot to get their 100 gold, since that's what you are implying would happen. What percent of players (who play regularly) hit the 100 gold mark. In theory, it would be 100% if you are making the assertion that everyone would use bots to maximize their gold income.
Also, people who WOULD bot (which I argue is not all) are the ones who would not be buying anything anyways. They don't even like the game enough to play it, let alone invest in it.
be thankful, this game is really terrible and you would have to pay much more in your psychiatrist fees after facehuntering that much. Also, nobody likes you.
They should honestly make it 30g or less per day. Card games arent meant to be for plebs going face crafting the fastest deck f2p. The game is cancer because it is 'free to play'. New players craft the cheapest decks because this is most efficient for them, but these are all aggro decks in general because they have cheap and efficient minions. People wait for the best netdeck so they can efficiently use your dust. This will always create giant flows of particular decks and stale metas. So now you want to remove the goldcap, motivating all these cancergrinders to grind the ladder more.
Honestly, i know this should be on the salt thread but im putting it out here aswell. <3
Yeah, really friggin salty i ever spent money on this game, letting my hope and expectations screw myself over.
Play Gwent, Shadowverse, or Elder Scrolls: Legends.

yeah, and we players that hate cancerdecks on ladder cant play the game F2P because we cant earn gold... wise!
Gold limit is fine. Imagine the cancer decks nonstop...5 minutes a match..
30 wins a day is too much for me so i don't really care:(
Congrats though that is really good:
Soul Parade :)
The 100 gold limit is just Blizzard's way of saying "Get a life."
Thank the botters.

I think that limit is very healthy for human beings .
You aren't supposed to play hearthstone 24/7.

So you would use a bot then?
