Trying to build new decks since I'm already legend, no point in playing decks I've played hundreds of times since the game is going to be almost new come Tuesday and my new custom decks have to go against midrange druid, zoo, secret paladin. These people are already legend and not close to top 100. Why people, why?
It's possible that they want to make top 100. They may not be close right now, but the difference between 1000 and 100 isn't all that many games really.
I suppose you just have to find your own fun in hearthstone whether it's a new deck or old, I try not to care about my rank too much. But I know some people do, I respect that but I always find it funny 'video games' are called 'esports' or anything in reference to 'professional' when it's an entertainment. I like it in some ways that it's taken more seriously but, also should be noted if it isn't fun, then really whats the point of playing a video game?
4) They don't give a fuck what the "meta police" thinks of them or their deck and if they want to play fucking Combo Druid they do it because fuck you matchups are random anyway and they are not accountable to you

Well, how do you think they got there in the first place? ;)
"As housecarl I am sworn to your service. I will protect you and all you own, with my life." - Lydia of Whiterun
Why not?
Basically three reasons:
1) They're tryharding and actually hope to make the top 100.
2) They're working on a golden hero.
3) They lack the skill/confidence to build their own decks.
And yeah, I feel you. It's kind of depressing, especially when they already have the golden hero and you know it's #1 or #3.

Well if you make decks , I guess you want to try it again meta decks, not just mill druids or control hunters.. Or even rogues. ;)
Here's another:

Ranked people playing home brew decks, why?
Trying to play net decks, no point in playing when it feels like the other player doesn't even try to win.
