Hello, Fan Creation Forum! I'm one of your moderators, Asylum_Rhapsody (or just Asylum for short), and I'm absolutely thrilled to premier Season 2 of our beloved Weekly Card Design Competition.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the competition, it's where some of HearthPwn's most imaginative minds go to challenge their creativity, share their thoughts about what makes good balance and design, and of course have a bit of fun. Each week, we present a new challenge, like a strict set of restrictions, and your job is to create a new Hearthstone card that not only takes on that challenge and adheres to those restrictions but also presents something outstanding to captures the attention of the Fan Creation community.
For those of you who are veterans of the competition, welcome back! I hope that you enjoy Season 2 and that we can continue the amazing work started by former moderator BerserkMidget08. Be warned, however, that there have been a few changes to our competition format, so be sure to read through the rules and procedures carefully to ensure that you are still in compliance and that nothing catches you off guard.
Without further ado, let's get this party started!
To celebrate the beginning of Season 2 and the 21st week of the competition, YahOkay (winner of Competition #18) brings us a competition theme with a winning combination: 7-7-7. Your challenge for the week is to incorporate these lucky numbers into a new Hearthstone card.
Entry Restrictions:
Your card must incorporate exactly three (3) of the following seven elements:
A Mana Cost of (7).
An Attack of 7.
A Health of 7.
A Durability of 7.
A card name that is exactly 7 characters long. (Spaces do not count.)
Exactly 7 words of card text. (Numeral expressions do not count, so for example "Battlecry: Summon a 7/7 War Golem" is only 5 words.)
The number "7" somewhere in the card name or text. (This only counts once no matter how many times the number "7" appears, so for example "Summon a 7/7 War Golem" would only count once.) (Further clarification, we are indeed looking for the number "7", not the word "seven", the numeral "VII", or any other such variation.)
Your card cannot produce any additional unique cards or tokens. (Though it can produce cards or tokens that already exist in the game, whether collectible or not, and the "cards" produced by Choose One effects are also fine.)
(WARNING: Intentional misspelling of card names, abuse of punctuation, or unrealistic wording of card text, such as "Lions!!" or "Battlecry: Summon a 7/7 War Golem for yourself.", will be especially subject to moderator review. This is supposed to be a fun challenge, so pretty please with sugar on top don't try to subvert the restrictions, okay?)
Existing Examples: War Golem, Prophet Velen, Flame Leviathan, and Neptulon. I almost included Dr. Boom and Malorne here, but they actually wouldn't be allowed because they incorporate too many of the indicated elements. YahOkay has also provided a a unique example so that not all of them would just be minions that are 7/7 for (7):
Competition Rules
We, the Fan Creation Forum Moderators, may edit and/or disqualify your entry if you neglect the competition's rules, so please read carefully. These measures are designed to ensure everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience during the contests!
You are allowed to submit one (1) entry per competition. Your entry must be a card of your own creation. You may add minimal comments to explain your card's design, balance, and/or qualities. You may not significantly alter your card once it has been submitted. (Although minor tweaks, such as to adjust balance or correct spelling errors, are acceptable.) You may not delete your submission post. Manipulating votes in any way is strictly forbidden. Any violators will receive a warning and a possible ban / disqualification from future contests. Any discussion of entries, ideas, and so on should take place in this week's designated Discussion Topic. This is the Submission Topic, and it is for submission posts and up-voting only.
Although this is not a rule exactly, we highly encourage you to create your card using Hearthcards.net to give your idea a realistic look. That said, you should consider hosting your image elsewhere, as the site only keeps your card for a limited time and has gone down on us before. If we cannot retrieve your image by the time we get to the Final Phase of the competition, you will not be able to advance, no matter your entry's final score.
Competition Process
Entry Phase and Early Voting (Starts 21:00 UTC 18/June/2015, Ends 19:00 UTC 23/June/2015) It is during this Phase that you may submit entries to the Submission Topic. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like!
Voting Phase (Starts 19:00 UTC 23/June/2015, Ends 19:00 UTC 24/June/2015) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites!
Final Phase (Starts 20:00 UTC 24/June/2015, Ends 20:00 UTC 25/June/2015) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and a 24-hour poll to decide the winner of the competition!
How do we determine the qualifying finalists? Using the formula detailed here...
(abc) / (de) = x
Where, a = The total number of up-votes in the entire topic. b = The total number of submissions on the same page as the submission. c = The total number of up-votes that the submission received. d = The total number of pages that the entire topic spanned. e = The total number of up-votes on the same page as the submission. x = The submission's final score.
It might seem a bit complex and convoluted, but the bottom line is that, although entries on the earlier pages of the Submission Topic are much more visible and thus receive many more up-votes than entries on later pages, you don't actually have to rush to get your entry in as soon as possible because the up-votes end up being weighted by what page your entry ends up on in order to determine its final score. It will be the ~15-25 entries that receive the highest final scores (depending on the popularity of this week's competition) that move on to the Final Phase. The spreadsheet showing the final scores of every submission will be released after each competition.
But wait, there's more! Season 2 is also introducing Wild Cards: During each Weekly Card Design Competition, one unknown Fan Creation Forum moderators will be given a Wild Card, which they can use to advance any one entry that they feel was initially overlooked or under-appreciated to the Final Phase, regardless of its final score. Wild Cards are our way of spicing things up a bit, but please don't ask to be given one or be upset if you aren't given one. These are just supposed to be fun. They're also not necessarily a permanent fixture of the competition, just something new that we'd like to try out. (Also, it should go without saying that, while we moderators are allowed to participate in the competitions, we are not allowed to benefit from Wild Cards.)
Rewards
To encourage your competitive spirit, we do of course offer a few rewards to competition winners: Their card forever immortalized in our Winners' Gallery! The power to choose the theme for a future competition! A unique Avatar Border & "Card Design Champion" Title, as depicted below!
W-W-What's This!?
As promised, DialM4Murloc and I have something big brewing to help us kick off Season 2. Unfortunately, we can't give you any details yet, but we can tell you when to be here if you want to be one of the first to find out. Even though it will be summer, "school will be in session" on the HearthPwn Fan Creation Forums at 21:00 UCT next Monday, 22/June/2015. See you then!
I preffer Arakkoa as its race name but because the rules... even card name have to be diffrent of 7 so I had to ad "Mage" just for make is right to submission. :/
If in shadow form you will switch to regular form, if in regular form you will go into shadowform. casting shadowform while in shadowform from Sen'jin will upgrade to the 3 damage power. Switching from that to regular form then back to shadow form will put you back in 2 damage mode.
I love the idea of this card. It offsets his terrible HP with the ability to trade and/or board clear on turn 7/8. I've fulfilled 3 of the criteria, being;
7 Mana
7 Attack
Effect with 7 words.
"What do you mean I can't kill those Wisps!?" - Dranosh Saurfang in Casual Mode.
Flavor Text: He only came to join the brawl because he heard that a certain Hunter was also around...
Summon: "By the light, your time here has ended!"
Summon when played against Alleria: "This is my duty, Alleria. Forgive me."
Attack:"Begone!"
(Note: Similar to Stealth, Immune minions cannot be targeted, so Taunt will not take effect when Immune is in play.)
At first glance, it may look quite overpowered, but I don't think the card necessarily is. Obviously, you need to have at least one good minion (not a Silver Hand Recruit), or else this card is not worth much more than a lowly War Golem. If only your opponent has any minions, then you will be forced to give one of their minions Immune for a turn if you want to play it, which will let your opponent deal with the 7/7 body quite easily. Otherwise, when used normally, it acts similar to an Argent Protector, giving the minion a pseudo-Divine Shield to trade with, and then giving the minion pseudo-Stealth on your enemy's turn.
Also, you could win the game off the Battlecry by disabling your opponent's Taunt. :D
If you are unable to see the card:
General Turalyon - Paladin Legendary - 7 Mana 7/7 - Battlecry: Give a minion Immune until the start of your next turn.
Ogre Shaman, hero and commander of the Duskbelch tribe. A beloved commander, he is so well-loved by his troops that if he were to fall, it would ignite them into a savage fury.

The younger brother got what he wanted ... No?
Edit:7 hp to 6 hp And BTW this is a legendary
Fixed . Counted words like 4 times .
Cost 7, 7 attack and seven words. Could lead to interesting dragon decks (specially mage?). Also, Frost Wyrms are cool.

7 attack, 7 durability, (7) mana cost.
Edit: Reduced mana cost and changed name.
Love the contest, and so glad it is still going. Here's mine:
7 letter title, 7 health, 7 in the text. Synergizes with Power of the Wild but not Savage Roar, unless you have Innervate or Emperor Thaurissan made something cheaper.
Wisp, for reference. Hat tip to DarthAxel at DeviantArt for the image.
Resubmission, adjusted due to previous submission overextending the criteria.
* Mana Cost 7.
* 7 Non-numerical words in card text.
* The number 7 in card text.
Here is my submission, Priest Legendary Sen'jin.
If in shadow form you will switch to regular form, if in regular form you will go into shadowform. casting shadowform while in shadowform from Sen'jin will upgrade to the 3 damage power. Switching from that to regular form then back to shadow form will put you back in 2 damage mode.

I just decided to be silly.
7 mana, 7 characters long, 7 appears in the text.

(Edit: due to possible confusion in cost reduction, I changed the text a little)
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
