I found a fun phenomena in regards to this. When you get a friend request and expect it to be hate filled, ddont accept and dont reject it. Wait a few days or a few hours, then accept. They have forgotten why they added yoy most likely and whatever rage that might have consumed them has subsided.
So you can enter a (relatively) friendly and civil talk at that point and observe each other for the watch-a-win quest and chat about it.
But if you really want to make friends this forum is a better and more neutral starting point with no obvious risk of toxicity.
Hire Kibler, Day9, and Dane (to head up Wild balancing naturally).
They would be great, though I think Day9 is a bit too much on the silly side and Kibler too much on the serious side. But also, they just hired one of the most funny and intelligent people from the Hearthstone scene, so here's hoping Chakki will get some camera time together with his job on the final design team.
Wow, didn't expect to see this waking up... Can't say I'm not sad to lose him, but I'm mostly a bit concerned. Ben was a one-man marketing machine and he always went that extra mile to connect with the community.
I wonder if they've got any plans for "replacing" his role going forward, or it'll be a pretty big empty space after him. While the rest of the team has been showing their faces more and more, they haven't really got that (whatever it is) which Brode had.
What if this is part of Chakki's role in the team, other then final design? He's always been a pretty funny and interesting guy to listen to, don't think I've ever watched anything where he's participated without laughing at his antics. Still he's been managing to be interesting and analytic and know the game more than pretty much anyone, so he'll definitely have the communities trust. I think he's perfect for marketing and community stuff, so I'm hoping he'll be part of that from now on!
Chakki is one of the most analytic pro's I seen that always seem to understand the meta on a deeper level and how new cards impact it. Very good news to see him join the design team, best of luck!

Kinda bummed about this expansion's packs - opened my pre-order of 50 and only got Griftah and Gral, the Shark for legendaries.

He clearly said he opened 10 packs, got a legendary on the last one, then opened 39 more packs. It checks out.

Anyone?

You can make it cost 2 and remove the self-damage, and it would be decent in a very specific deck.

This minion seems to be able to attack though it's frozen. At least I could. Weird.

Netdecking is what keeps this game alive and competetive. It's not a problem in my opinion, it's unavoidable, good and necessary.
I wish there was another non-arena gamemode which encouraged more creativity and was less predictable though.

Should be obvious that it could be stolen since there's a treasure that swaps hands. Big fail on Blizzards side not to notice something so obvious!

Similar happened to me with Toki, but I had Primordial Glyph, the "all spells cost 1 less" and got Frost Lance..

Do you imply that Casual had room for "fun" decks before this expansion? If so, you've had a way different experience then I think most people had...
