Seems too situational for my liking. The stats alone are worth ~4.5 mana, so you are paying ~2.5 mana for the Battlecry.
In comparison:
- Aldor Peacekeeper costs 3 mana and has stats worth ~2.5 mana, so its Battlecry costs ~0.5 mana.
- Humility costs 1 mana and is never played.
Most of the time, you only need to neutralise one big threat, and Aldor Peacekeeper is good enough (plus its cost allows you to play it before Turn 7 against threats like early Giants). It is seldom the case that the opponent will have multiple minions with high attack on the board, so you will rarely get value from Eadric.
So, barring the rise of a new mid-range archetype (where you commonly see 2-3 minions on the board each with 4+ attack), I don't think Eadric will see much play.
Situational hahahahaha, so is big game hunter, Harrison jones, Black knight, and so on. This card is going to be amazing for control paladin, and why neutralise one big threat when you can neutralise his entire board? This card and the Tuskarr Jouster are going to make control paladin allot more viable, perhaps even Justicar trueheart aswell. Combinations like this will be very common when you add in legendary's : turn 5 Tuskarr, turn 6 justicar turn 7 Eadric turn 8 tyrion. I'm sure well get some more good cards for the early game, if paladin needs them to begin with. Zombie chow, Knife Juggler, Shielded minibot, Muster for battle and so on should be good enough to survive to the early stages of they game, from there on you just ramp on legendary after legendary just like control warrior, and outvalue your opponent.
The key word is too situational. BGH, Harrison Jones, TBK etc are situational but not too situational, since you are only paying 0.5 mana to 2 mana more for their effects, and they all destroy something. With Eadric, you are paying 2.5 mana more to reduce the attack value of enemy minions (not even destroy them), so you really need the stars to align to get full value out of him.
Eadric was revealed and Handlocks everywhere cried out in agony.
What about Giant-Echo-Mages haven't we seen screens of boards full of molten Giants? In this cases those weakend giants are even hard to remove/replace.

I think it's clear from the overall tone of TGT releases to date that Blizz is trying to move the meta toward a longer control game. Paladin is notoriously unable to deal with big threats, and this is designed to help the paladin deal with those threats.
I think as an aside Blizz is disappointed that Dragon Paladin didn't do what Patron Warrior did after BRM, and I think this card fits as well in a Dragon paladin deck as any other conceivable deck (so far).
I love how they revealed both this guy and Tuskar Jouster, both made specifically for my main deck. More heals and more humilities, with Tuskarr Jouster replacing one of my threats, this guy might be able to take one of the slots of my Guardians of Kings for further disabling power. besides my x2 Aldors and x1 Humility.
He can only hit his mass Humility once, so that worries me a bit. But the stall power he brings to the table is immense (I still die to Bloodlust Totems though).
So i play this and equality, transform the enemy board into DUDES like mine, but his baby rag will fire the eadric for 8 dmg and my faceagain and again . Cant w8
Oh god I can't wait to hear what he says when played. This guy is hilarious, I REALLY hope they recycle his soundfiles!
"Nay! Nay! And I say yet again, nay! Not. Good. Enough!
"I yield! I submit! Excellent work! ....may I run away now?
"HAMMER. OF. THE. RIGHTEOOOUSSS"
When attacked:
"Ouchie!"
As for the card itself, I absolutely love it. Can be run alongside Boom no problem, the effect is absolutely devastating even if you are not up against Handlock. It#s all about the fear guys. The fear about getting your complete board.... humiliated! Wether the Paladin runs this guy or not.
FINALLY a direct response to Handlock! I was honestly expecting them to give giants their own tribe label, followed by some kind of Giant Killer minion. This will work in the control meta, would work in the aggro meta if it cost 1 less.
Good card.

Mass Humility with a sticky body... this will be annoying on top of Equality + Consecration nonsense.
"Can i run away now?" (translated from german client, maybe someone with english client can correct me)
And this ... Dude is ... legandary....
Eadric was revealed and Handlocks everywhere cried out in agony.
With Jousting and this card, I am confident Blizzard knows what they are doing in trying to push the control meta forward.
Onto the theory crafting!
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
I was hoping for something cooler for paldin. This is just AoE Aldor Peacekeeper
idk. for 7 mana and legendary this is quite underwhelming :(
If you can't beat them, join them

It only affects enemy attack...
Imagine this card being a Warrior class card.

Feels really good to be fed cards for your own strategy. My deck is not very impressive, but I'm definitely proud of my uncommon strategy: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/241603-heal-face-paladin
real good chance the artwork for this guy would be:

Hype hype hooray!
Turn 7 lethal? Yup
With this card, Paladin proclaims itself the King of the board.
I am afraid if this makes Shaman less viable because it's also board centric. Priest too.
