I partly agree, I think Leeroy Jenkins could be a candidate this year, Blizzard seems to not like a)burst for all classes and b)cards that are in all decks of a certain archetype (ik some face hunter lists dont include him, but still), Leeroy is both of that so maybe it's time to say goodbye. Another danger is Dinotamer Brann, it doesn't see much play, but as long as Jepetto Joybuzz is in the game, Brann is very dangerous.
Apart from that, I don't think there is anything really, Stonetusk Boar is no threat, combo is dead since Un'Goro rotated. If they really wanted to kill control off for good, Archivist Elysiana and Plague of Death is the way
I agree with your 3 choices. I'm kind of getting tired of Leeroy being in almost half of all played ranked decks, and also having a really high deck winrate. It's kind of amazing that they haven't retired the charge mechanic all together at this point.
Personally, I'd go with 95-100% of the classic set.
I mean, Rogue has been Backstab and SI-7 Agent and VanCleef in the early game, and Leeroy and Shadowstep to close things out--for the entire history of Hearthstone. Six years of the same cards. Is that too strong? Not really, but it's certainly way too ****ing boring. If you want to know why people quit, this is why people quit. The game is stale, because Blizzard has decided to have a stale classic set.

Barring that, Divine Spirit/Inner Fire has to go. Personally, I like Inner Fire. It's a fair card on it's own. The issue is really cheap access to "double." What if Divine Spirit became a plain, fixed +4 health? It can no longer be stacked into absurdity in easy-and-huge burst combos, and that was the only real issue.
Shield Slam : they seem to want to be taking warrior into more of an aoe removal class direction rather than a single target removal class direction, in fact ever since un'goro and vilespine they've made it clear they want rogue to be the dragon slayer class (single target removal for big things like Vilespine Slayer or Walk the Plank.
Divine Spirit: same reasons they hofed Mind Blast apparently they want priest to be about small board gains that evetually stack
other than that i can't think of a card that has more potential to be hofed, yeah yeah i haven't talked about leeroy, but look even though aggro and myself aren't exactly in good terms; having finishers and game closers in a game is still needed and healthy as long as they aren't stupidly cheap (looking at you boar) or some turn 1 snowball card, and leeroy isnt any of that, he has a fair price range and isn't exactly a super flexible card with the potential of breaking the game
Devine spirit is fine. Inner fire maybe as this does limit design. However, this will greatly weaken the class and kill combo priest. People just want Leeroy to go to HoF just because of the saltiness they feel losing to him. However is he one of the few charge minions in the game that is a finisher for combo decks. Combo decks keep control in line otherwise they will rule the meta and cause a major imbalance.

I really don't see reason why combo decks needs Leeroy... I really don't remember any meaningfull combo deck to play Leeroy.
Only aggro play him. And they don't play him as card to play, but just for finishing dmg. So i don't really see anything interesting about this card. (There is really nothing about saltines as i play a lot of aggro decks with leeroy. I would be still happy if he leave and make a space for some meaningfull finisher like is Kill comand.)
yes, but its unpredictable when they make an announcement
could be a month or 2 before, and even could be a day
Why is nobody calling Edwin VanCleef out as HOF candidate. I think he will go the the hall of fame
Divine Spirit is the only one I care about, Inner Fire is fine.
I imagine we will see the further removal of charge too.

just hof all classic and basic
and continue this set + adventure 3 times a year. we dont need more cards
Leeroy Jenkins, Backstab, Freezing Trap, Edwin VanCleef, Stonetusk Boar, Southsea Deckhand, and Doomsayer all seem like potential candidates imo.

After ladder the last few days, I'm ready to see Winged Guardian's ass HOF'd.
Hall of Fame card draw because it can result in topdecks. Bruh, bad opinion.
Divine Spirit is almost confirmed.
I would like to see Edwin hofed, he is very powerful especially as compared to other classic class legendaries like Jaraxxus and Velen.
my predictions are

Stonetuskboar As it was alredy stated blizzard themselves admitted that they axe a lot of designs during playtesting just because of this card source: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/65q7yq/team_5_addresses_quest_rogue_basically_says_its/, and not only that they also axe a lot of designs that get into the game just because of this card, (i do think the apothecary nerf was needed though)

leeroy hes in every deck just about

Just make Leeroy rush :).
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Bloodlust, Divine spirit, Leeroy, Alextraza
Game evolved too much to keep those.
You can get a full board of minion for 4 or 5 turn in a row easily now and keeping Bloodlust (being discovered by a lackey) shouldn t be an option
Same Divine Spirit, too many ways to pump health for a very boring and obsolete ko dynamic. (or nerf it give a minion +5 health)
Leeroy is just out of control
alextrasa also was cool 5 years ago. now too tricky, 15 dmg in one turn is nothing nowadays.
Look at Restless mummy and try find some other solution.
