20 is too much I can't see this card being played. 8 mana Elysiana would have been a nice tool for this deck, right now I just don't see it. Even with plot twist you need to spend a lot of mana to draw 20 cards. Most games you won't have the quest reward until turn 12-15 it's too slow.
It's pretty much designed for control or midrange match-ups. You're not going to finish it against aggro most likely.
Yes I totally agree but my point is that it's too slow even against a control deck, generally against control the big swing turns start happening on turn 8-9 and by turn 10 they release full power every turn, at that point if you're still trying to plot twist and life tap every turn, things won't go well imo. Also the variance, you might draw a big card at the start of your turn, then draw a 1 drop with your upgraded hero power, if that happens after you spent the whole game trying to complete the quest, you're instantly screwed.
Of course it is very early and I'm judging with everything I know. Support for this quest is probably coming.
Does everyone remember when people called the 5 mana Weapon for Warlock too slow. Or the 5 drop (now 6 mana) 2/2 that recruited a demon from your deck, bad? The reason those cards were considered bad at the time, because it appeared the support was not in place.
Much like the 'discard' theme that was being pushed, it wasn't working because they added support way too late for standard. In Wild the discard decks are not very powerful to other Wild decks.
If they add more cards in this next set that support this theme, then you will see this Quest being good. Not great, just another tool for Control Warlock to get big value in the late game to win Control match ups.
Support needs to be in the form of adding more cards to your deck. Or cards that gain value or give value when you draw those cards. For example, if there was a card that did 2 damage to all minions when drawn. Or a minion that shuffled a 1/1 copy of itself into your deck when drawn.
I could not vote. The thing can't be called out jet to be good, bad or sth. Else. This quest need to be played and tested, along with the new cards that probl. Push the quest.
I don't get it right now. So you draw 20 cards to get permanent Wilfred whatever it was called. Maybe the rest of the cards will make this worthwhile, but the problem is warlock doesn't seem to stay alive for very long when they play the slow game these days.

you play this in Kibler's plot twist warlock which has a lot of healing.
I love how we currently exist in a metagame where arguably the best deck (control warrior) plays a card that extends fatigue by 10 cards (Elysiana), and sometimes plays that card twice (Faceless/Brewmaster variants are picking up steam for the mirror), but this is somehow "too slow."
The only part of this card that is "too slow" is that the Warlock class lacks solid early/midgame plays at the moment.

Without Defile to clear early boards, Warlock is hurting right now. Agreed on this one.
I was playing a Plot twist deck, but I was so busy trying to stay alive that I never get to enjoy the late game cards. The healing available is lacking right now for an all in strategy like this.
If all you are doing is healing to stay alive, then you aren't pushing your own game plan along, which isn't good for a control deck.
The only part of this card that is "too slow" is that the Warlock class lacks solid early/midgame plays at the moment.
Warlock lacks solid game in general at the moment lmao. They require a broken set.
Not too broken. We don't want a repeat of the Death Knight and free Demons coming into play over and over again. Just enough to make them competitive.
Well considering there are four sets in rotation and not only is Zoo looking like the weakest "popular" aggro option, but Warlock as a class doesn't even have enough synergies between its own late game card choices to come close to making a competitively viable mid/control deck. Warlock is going to need a massive set in SoU if it is going to to see any play past the first couple of weeks.
Dust. It's way too slow to activate. Draw 20 isn't that easy and by the time you finish you don't have that many cards left and you're nearing fatigue (unless you lay some shuffle cards like the 5/2). Investing a card and 1 mana isn't worth it for how long it takes to complete.
plot twist seems like the only shuffle into card people are talking about. what about the demon that puts portals in your deck or the guy that shuffles a friendly minion in. fatigue "will probably" be an issue here
Last expansion Control Warlock got Fel Lord Betrug and 0 tools to support control-ish nature of this archetype (heal, armor, taunt, stale, removals etc.), which caused Plot Twist Control Lock to be one of the worst meta decks ever (32% winrate). This time they gave him this one and again 0 support cards for control, so Control Warlock is still dead. Thanks Blizzard for another worthless legendary, I'll put it on the shelf, next to Hir'eek, the Bat and Dr. Morrigan...

0? Are you not able to count or did you just skip every reveal so far?

Please then, indulge me with list of control tools, that Warlock received in this expansion. Point out especially those that will help him beat Control Warrior, Murlock Shaman, Mech Hunter, Mech Paladin, Token Druid, Secret Hunter or Control Shaman.
Plot Twist Lock was bad, because he had no cards to counter their cards. After this expansion he... still won't have them. All good cards for Warlock from SoU are either zoo either mid range. None of them will make control viable.
2.End of the game (not only play a big minion or boardclear)
3.Mid game, coz Betrug+plot twist is just another board clear
So why even think to play QuestWarlock???
My answer is coz it`s fun! Let`s make it work! Somebody will! So lets try it yourselfs before u copy a code of working plottwist deck somewhere else!!!
- Loot Hoarder × 2 and Bloodmage Thalnos× 1 . You know, deathrattle minions draw a card have an OP sinergy with Dollmaster & Betrug? U can even summon a big copy that will not die. Loot Hoarder is better then taping. Talnos also give your spells +1 attack.
So we have a solution to early game.
So #2 Late game. Yes it is a problem. I even started to use Hakkar, the Soulflayer × 1 and Archivist Elysiana × 1. And it works but we need more. maybe King Phaoris × 1 is good in warlock? Colossus of the Moon × 1? Maybe Blatant Decoy × 2 to pull of big ones like Ysera × 1 or Deranged Doctor × 1? Or maybe Alekstrasa? Think about it! Some of your cards will cost 0. What combo can we make? Maybe with Maly?
Coz I think #3 is ok. We already have nice boardclears and a lot of heal and obv twist combos. And u can make it deathrattle heavy to heal u alot & summon more minions.
What combos can you make in warlock with some 0 cost cards?? Say it please!

I am not sure, When I see giant mage pulling this conjuring combo with consistency, I would say DK Guld'Dan-ish power level is NEEDED, Either that or nerf mage.

Otherwise, this will be too slow I think.
Once upon a time, some of the experts said Ultimate Infestation was probably too slow.
I think we'll find that there's plenty of support for this Quest. Besides Plot Twist, you have the portal guys, the draw gnomes, Mortal Coil, The Soularium, Sense Demons. Maybe even Nat Pagle!
OK, probably not Nat Pagle. But anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to get it done before Turn 10 or so.

I hope to open this card, so stoked to try this in plot twist warlock

Plot Twist Warlock has 3 problems:
1.Early game (vs aggro)
2.End of the game (not only play a big minion or boardclear)
3.Mid game, coz Betrug+plot twist is just another board clear

So #1 Early game. we need early boardclear.
- Plague of Flames + Rafaam's Scheme or Fiendish Circle . These are spells so you will not make your minions pool bad.
- Loot Hoarder × 2 and Bloodmage Thalnos × 1 . You know, deathrattle minions draw a card have an OP sinergy with Dollmaster & Betrug? U can even summon a big copy that will not die. Loot Hoarder is better then taping. Talnos also give your spells +1 attack.
