Keyword there was "decent". Giving us 2 mana 1/1's is not decent. Golem was not even that much of a problem tbh. They just had to give damn trogg which fck'd everything up as overload face spells became viable. + To be honest there have been worse aggro decks and I personally (who never liked aggressive shaman decks) would play vs aggro shaman than jade druid or machine gun priest. Which coincidentally is even stronger in this expac.
Shaman is a class that is reliant on having a board and not giving us minions that have any chance to take the board means the class is basicly dead except for broken mechanic between doppelgangster and evolve.
[edit] I don't really care, if I'm calling it too early, but I don't think it's meaningful. Brann Bronzebeard was a better battlecry enabler, because a) you could do it on more minions b) he has a better body c) if he somehow stays on the board, he he snowball even more (i.e. he is a must kill). This elemental is very conditional.
brann with devilsaur eggs in a hunter deck with the enablers would be insane. might have to try it in wild.. I dusted my brann though after the adventure cycled out. Kind of regret it now.
Everyone says that Brann had better stats on curve but come on, 80-90% od the time you played Brann in the late/mid game to combo it with something like a Jade summoner a Kazakus etc. And now you can have 2 of this in your deck and it is easier to combo for only 2 mana. I think it is a really powerful card. (I don't say that it wil make elemental or Jade Shaman work but on paper it is very good.)
When people were comboing Brann, it was usually just doubling a single battlecry that turn. This does the same thing for less. Of course, it has no residual danger afterwards like Brann did, but at least it synergizes with elementals.
I'm the only one who voted "dust it". I think this card is awful. It's in a class that doesn't run much battle cry. Sure it's great with kalimos, even with servant of Kalimos it's not that great.
In currently viable shaman decks the only things this is worth synergizing with is doppelgangster but then your're looking at an 8 mana 3 card combo and we know how reliable that is. At that level, you're usually looking at OTK combos instead. This might be decent with aya and jade claws, making it on par with jade spirit. But then it's just jade spirit on a good day and keep in mind you'll have to play this on the same turn as say jade claws. I doubt shaman will even teir two, and this card isn't really going to help.
You put this card next too brann and it's just beyond bad. Brann costs 1 more mana, in exchange you get a 2/4 body instead of a useless 1/1 and you can trigger as many battle cries as you like. Also Brann is a neutral so you can put it in classes that actually have good battle cries like dragon priest, any of the raza decks.
to be fair this is probably more like a 2 star meme card, it has potential to be decent if shaman gets much more powerful battle cry minions in the future. As of now I highly dout this will see any competitive play.
I really don't get how people are so far off on like half of the cards. Last expansion my predictions were pretty good on 80% of the cards. I don't see that changing this time. I thought Uther was a 2 star DK when everyone was rating it as 4/5 and Uther turned out to be one of the worst DK's. Pointed out how poorly it compared to tyrion, for 1 more mana you get to lose a 6/6 divine shield taunt body, in exchange for 20 life over 3 turns.

maybe make a new deck rather than trying to fit this into an existing deck.

Why is it only decent with Aya? Aya's battlecry effect is exactly the same as every other Jade card. It would be just as effective with Jade Claws and Spirit. That's 5 cards, not one.
Blazecaller was my first thought, followed by Kalimos. The real interesting question is what happens when you Murmuring into murmuring into Blazecaller?
11mana, so probably moot in all but the most extreme scenario's. In the rare case it's most likely blazecaller goes off 4 times. Since it's likely multiplicative in the sequence and not additive. "Twice" is times 2, not +1, so 1*2*2=4 procs. Could be wrong but the key text reads this way.
No, then you just have two cards that say the same. The effect stays the same. Battlecries trigger twice. Like it was with Brann Bronzebeard
It might be that way, but not necessarily. Notice that Branns text says it triggers twice and it's not a battlecry, while Murmurings effect IS a battlecry, so it should then also work on itself.
Funny how a 2 mana rare card can potentially turn an uncompetitive class into a meta defining one...at least there is the chance for that to happen. So many uses...
But how should it be a difference if there are two times Brann or the effect is triggered twice? In both cases we have two instances which state "your battlecries trigger twice". Whether you have two different cards stating that or a Battlecry is double triggered, it is always just "twice". To trigger the battlecry twice, you need to read it a second time and do again what it states. E.g. "Change the stats of a minion to 3/3" did nothing the second time since you can only aim once with the battlecry and it changed the minion two times to a 3/3. The result was the same. "Give your minion +1/+1" will be added twice on a minion. The first is an absolute number, the second adds something to a base.
Reading the line "battlecries trigger twice" two times does not change the outcome. For that it would have to be worded like "trigger the next battlecry an additional time" or maybe even "trigger the battlecry twice as much" (which sounds dumb, but you get what I mean). Then you have a base line to which you are referring and which can be increased. "twice" on Murmuring Elemental is just "two times". That is not doubling or something, but an absolute number where it does not make a difference whether it is applied a second time.

Name 5 existing viable cards with battle-cries so powerful it's worth running a 2 mana 1/1 with the extra condition you must have both cards and play them together. Copying a battle cry that's bearly worth a 2 mana 1/1 is not good enough since this card requires to have another card otherwise it's unplayable and will have to sit in your hand.
My take on what i think is the best deck to fit it in (Jade Shaman with Kalimos/Grumble extension):
A nice addition for the Elemental Shaman deck, but I think that it needs something more in order to become a real thing on Ladder.
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Very good, in many different scenarios...
but I wouldn't mind seeing a Trolden video of someone playing Murmuring Elemental + Injured Blademaster XD

Just my preference tho.
Surprise!

is nobody thinking of the possible synergy with the new cards? Murmuring Elemental + Kobold Hermit or Murmuring Elemental + Windshear Stormcaller
lul jk those combos probably wont work
if you play it, and then plat it again does the next battlecry works 4 times?
Combo with thrall deathseer, jade, elementals , and even token shaman with doppleganster and saronite chaingang
thats pretty good

Carpe Diem - Seize the day
Happy with this card. Can build a lot of decks around it. Budget Brann and you can run 2 of in every deck. Cheaper to combo.
I edited and included claws shortly after. Always forget battlecries include weapons.
Carpe Diem - Seize the day
This with Galvadon will be fun. If you somehow manage to get it playing questpaladin of course
