Is no one thinking of the repercussions of this? When brann came out, blizz limited themselves to never making a new card with an exciting battlecry. Now that he has been rotated out, they are able to do that again, but now with this card, they are saying that for the next year and three months, there won't ever be a neautral or shaman battlecry worth getting excited about because it would be too strong with this card. Feels bad man.
It's a cool card. That i won't deny, but elemental shaman needed a good 2 drop that it could play on turn 2 without losing tempo. This is a card you don't play until at least turn 6 or later, because the battlecry you combo with this must be played the same turn.
This would definitely go into an elemental or jade shaman deck, and likely won't make it into evolve shaman. This definitely makes Grumble, Worldshaker look stronger in a elemental or jade deck because the main point of the card is to bounce back at least a few strong battlecry minions, such as jade-summoners. If your board is really large, then Evolve, Bloodlust or Thrall, Deathseer are way better (even Spirit Echo is better and that doesn't see play). Brann Bronzebeard was played in jade shaman but this card is weaker because it can't affect Jade Claws and Jade Spirit simultaneously. The only problem is that both jade and elemental shaman are currently weak and may still need more tools.
I'm the only one who voted "dust it". I think this card is awful. It's in a class that doesn't run much battle cry. Sure it's great with kalimos, even with servant of Kalimos it's not that great.
In currently viable shaman decks the only things this is worth synergizing with is doppelgangster but then your're looking at an 8 mana 3 card combo and we know how reliable that is. At that level, you're usually looking at OTK combos instead. This might be decent with aya and jade claws, making it on par with jade spirit. But then it's just jade spirit on a good day and keep in mind you'll have to play this on the same turn as say jade claws. I doubt shaman will even teir two, and this card isn't really going to help.
You put this card next too brann and it's just beyond bad. Brann costs 1 more mana, in exchange you get a 2/4 body instead of a useless 1/1 and you can trigger as many battle cries as you like. Also Brann is a neutral so you can put it in classes that actually have good battle cries like dragon priest, any of the raza decks.
to be fair this is probably more like a 2 star meme card, it has potential to be decent if shaman gets much more powerful battle cry minions in the future. As of now I highly dout this will see any competitive play.
I really don't get how people are so far off on like half of the cards. Last expansion my predictions were pretty good on 80% of the cards. I don't see that changing this time. I thought Uther was a 2 star DK when everyone was rating it as 4/5 and Uther turned out to be one of the worst DK's. Pointed out how poorly it compared to tyrion, for 1 more mana you get to lose a 6/6 divine shield taunt body, in exchange for 20 life over 3 turns.
A pretty good prediction on 80% of the cards means that you were completely off on 20% of the cards and not even spot-on on the rest of them.
Such numbers aren’t something to brag about; quite on the contrary even.
The sad thing about this card is that Shamans lack Battlecry effects. Their only meaningful battlecry is the 6 6/5 Deal 3 damage. Other than that, there is no shaman card with battlecry you want to see (at least until Kobolds and Catacombs). Furthermore, it's a 2 mana with 1/1. A flipping penguin could take it's body out. Bronzebeard was useful because it was 3 mana 2/4 All your battlecries trigger twice. Meaning for 1 more mana you get 3 more health, 1 more damage and a shitload of battlecry applications. Bad card, at least it's not a legendary dust.
In a class with consistent or decent card draw, sure this can be good form cute combos, but that's not shaman. And please can we get a 2 mana minion with good stats?
Not sure why everybody is talking about Brann so much. Since it's a legendary, you could play only one. If you built a deck with lots of battlecry but Brann was at the bottom, your deck lost too much value. But since you can have two of those in your deck, it's quite likely that you'll get at least one for pumping a great battlecry when needed. Also, not seeing why people say it cannot be played on curve. Most Shaman decks have very little 2 mana cards because they know they can trust their hero power. And with the new cards coming out, nobody will want to leave too many totems alive anyway, so hitting hero power on two will be the best play most of the time anyway. And last, this little guy has an elemental tag, while Brann had no tags. Going with playable for sure, but Blizzard still have a lot of cards to go in this expansion, and still hoping the expected deck filler could come up with one or two decent low cost battlecry as well. So it could go up to very good by the time we see all the cards.

The more important difference is that you can put two Murmuring Elementals in your deck.
That is extremely meaningful to the design of the card.

That's the third card practically made for Jade Shaman. It doubles up on any Jade card, it works with both Zola and Grumble, and with the Shaman heal minions.
Blazecaller was my first thought, followed by Kalimos. The real interesting question is what happens when you Murmuring into murmuring into Blazecaller?
11mana, so probably moot in all but the most extreme scenario's. In the rare case it's most likely blazecaller goes off 4 times. Since it's likely multiplicative in the sequence and not additive. "Twice" is times 2, not +1, so 1*2*2=4 procs. Could be wrong but the key text reads this way.
No, then you just have two cards that say the same. The effect stays the same. Battlecries trigger twice. Like it was with Brann Bronzebeard
It might be that way, but not necessarily. Notice that Branns text says it triggers twice and it's not a battlecry, while Murmurings effect IS a battlecry, so it should then also work on itself.
Funny how a 2 mana rare card can potentially turn an uncompetitive class into a meta defining one...at least there is the chance for that to happen. So many uses...
Your missing the main point though. It says "triggers twice" no matter how many times something triggers twice it still only triggers twice because if it did it 3 times it would be triggering thrice, and the card doesn't say that. It will never say that no matter how much you want it too. Moreover the twice thing was the explanation for bran by blizzard.
This thing is nuts! With the new legendary, or with Blazecaller! Or Kalimos! Omg I love it all!
10 adapts still die to deadly shot =P.

Favourite card in Hearthstone: Dark Magician :)

I like to play Jades / Elementals just for fun and this is a great combo card for that deck.
I made a theorycraft deck here:
Think First, Then Act.
2 mana 1/1
Battlecry: Summon a Jade Golem.
Can work too with this Freeze combo:
Moorabi + Murmuring Elemental + Brrrloc for double dupplicate of an enemy minion.
That's the third card practically made for Jade Shaman. It doubles up on any Jade card, it works with both Zola and Grumble, and with the Shaman heal minions.
So... if we play : Murmyring Elemental + Murmuring Elemental does the next Battlecry triggers 4x ? Does anyone else smeel combo shaman ?
works in current evolve and can work if an elemental thing comes to be (Windshear Stormcaller :^) )
Will wait and see if it fits somewhere
Elemental Love with Grumble, Worldshaker synergy
It's just so easy to make this card good. It's like delaying brann's effect and, if we're honest, brann would've seen play even if it was a 1/1.
Only downside is it's only one battlecry. So, you really need to make that tempo/value count. Not that it's that hard. You just need to plan ahead.
