This is not a win more card. It's the opposite. It can give you a decent board if you are behind. This and a Druid of the Claw gives you 2 4/6 taunts that cost 10 mana. If he survives, you can snowball the game in your favor. Or this and a Cobalt Scalebane on the board buffs it to be able to trade 1 for 1 (likely that it ends up being a 5/4). Both These Plays are slightly above curve with the potential to win you the game.
That said, I also think Ixlid, Fungal Lord is bad since you really need to Combo him. Due to his bad stats he is too weak to be a stand alone. And to Combo him consistently, he is too expensive.
Good with Arcane Giants, good once Jungle Giants quest is completed, good with Twig of the World Tree and sort of okay with Aviana in Wild - a situational combo card basically, a little too inconsistent to be that competitive though.
Seriously though he is interesting and will probably see play in some way or another, he could be interesting if played with Jungle Giants, things could get really crazy if he and all your minions are free.
This joke deserves way more upvotes.
I'm definitely looking forward to trying him in a Jungle Giants deck. He'll allow you to put down an extra big board, requiring more board clears from you opponent. Even more fun if you get a second copy of him with a 0-cost Zola the Gorgon.
For people complaining about the stats. Don't even go there. Look at that ability, you think an ability that powerful should be on a 5 mana 5/6? Hell no. The power level of this game is already high, lets not just go totally insane.
Because of the ability the stats are fair considering faceless manipulator is a 5 mana 3/3. The problem is that while faceless manipulator has the flexibility of copying anything on the board, you have to combo this on the turn you use it because there is no way in hell your opponent is going to leave this thing up alive for a turn unless they want to get wombo comboed. We'll see how well it does. Its a very powerful effect so it should not be underestimated.
While this seems extremely understatted, which it is, I believe this can be a game changer for big druid due to the immense man curve that is available to them. Pray you dont go up against priest tho XD
I think this is as good as Fandral. Situational of course, but a must deal immediately. If your opponent has only a big minion on the board you can play it with one 4-5 mana taunt minion or two little taunt minions and you suddenly have board control forcing your opponent to use an AOE or at least an hard removal. If he doesn't have it on the next turn you can totally win the game. But even on a single turn there are a lot of simple and useful things you can do, like playing this+ 1 or 2 arcane Giant ( board full of 8-8 and a must kill minion), playing druid of the claw (will you have 2 4-6 taunt or a 4-6 taunt and a 4-4 vanilla?), playing this + leeroy jenkins for 12 damage face (!).
Of course against Priest this is weaker, if not dangerous, cause he can potion of madness it and have 9 mana to double overwhelm you.
But I can see a lot of situation where this will be almost OP
You're a thief class though? I'm sure you'll see a copy. Rogues always seem to get legendaries off Shaku or Swashburgler when I play them!
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)
Have Twig equipped with 1 durability on turn 10.
Ixlid > Leeroy > hit with weapon > 2x Manipulator on Leeroy = 36 dmg if Manipulator turns into Leeroy before procing Ixlid
This card is really bad !
The effect is clunky and the stat line is poor .

This is a fun card to play : Addled Grizzly, Southsea Captain, Arcane Giant ... or even "Charge" minions like Leeroy Jenkins or Druid of the Claw
But not sure to see this legendary minion rules standard ladder next season...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it says "After", so that means battlecry activates first. Carnivorous Cube would destroy it without the double summon.
It would still be excellent to have two with the deathrattle!
another midcosted must kill legendary for druid, definately not as good as fandral but still crushing if you ignore it
Looks fun, but not competitive. If I pull one, it will go right into my mediocre Jungle Giants deck and probably not make much difference.
Cool card. Cooler name for the revealer. Master Wang. Really?

Probably most viable in zoo, since you can actually afford to play a couple 1 mana minions after this and get ok value.
The problem is that you will likely only get ok value, since it won't live to the next turn.

a pretty powerful card.
interested to see what kind of decks it makes.
