Seriously though he is interesting and will probably see play in some way or another, he could be interesting if played with Jungle Giants, things could get really crazy if he and all your minions are free.

When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
You never play this by itself and hope it survives. It's definitely a combo card, most likely with twig. Hard to evaluate. Other new druid cards will likely go with it.
I'm pessimistic - maybe you can build some fun combos with him, but those won't be that impressive, in order to be considered as ranked material.
Weak body, stats and an awkward effect. Innervate is gone, so combo-ing this is will be hard. You need to play the full price of that minion and you need to have this on the board...
Win-more. I will only admit this being somewhat useful in Aviana Kun combo decks.
Am I missing something or how is this card supposed to support the lackluster Jungle Giants? Don't get me wrong, I love playing Beast Druid and as such I've tried to make the quest worth playing since it's been released. Unfortunately there is a major issue: Jade and Ramp Druid are both infinitely times more viable in the late game (while also getting there much faster). Now, this card is similar to Brann Bronzebeard and Spiritsinger Umbra. But the poor stats for a 5 drop mean you want to play it in combination with other minions. Is there something available apart from Aviana and Kun the Forgotten King in Wild? I don't think so and the quest asks for a specific deck so that you can complete it as quickly as possible in order to get the most out of Barnabus the Stomper's battlecry. Some people are mentioning the legendary weapon in context with fancy combos. So, maybe I'm just unable to see the full picture.
Huh...very interesting card. If it gets pulled by a Recruit effect, you can pull off some serious combos, and that's not even going deep into the combo possibilities this thing has in Standard and in Wild.
For one thing, if you play this card and then play Faceless Manipulator on it, how many copies of itself would it then create?
It would have a lot of combo potential with Addled Grizzly, and could generally be a good card in Aggro Druid. Especially in Wild with Egg Druid where you can get all the Whelps!
If you kill this minion with Carnivorous Cube, would it still create 2 copies of Carnivorous Cube or just die before the effect triggers?
Battlecry should trigger before the minion is "played", so Cube shouldn't work.
can be good on a giant druid or the quest druid... but i don't seen anything beside those. 5 mana 2/4 is too slow for aggro that would use this effect like a monster, and on a jade/ramp druid is to hard let it alive on board until u play a big boy
too hard to pull off in standard. In theory this card should never live past the turn it's played so the max it can copy is only 5 mana's worth of minions, making this only 2/4 better in the best case scenario.
In wild this has potential to be a piece of some otk combo with thaurisan.
This seems to be made for aggro druid, although it is too slow and has a bad body for that...but could surely give some good value (think of Leeroy Jenkins for example).
But as a Big Druid player I think of playing Bright-Eyed Scout to draw a huge minion for 5 mana and then play this + the 5 mana minion to create for example 2 The Lich King or 2 Ysera or whatever in one turn. But in reality I think this is way too unreliable and will probably never happen...so I just voted "playable".
Q: why does everyone like to hang out with Ixlid?
A: Because he is a fungi!

Play this.
Use the other 5 mana (Nourish, swipe, Druid of the claw, etc)
Break Twig of the world Tree
Play Blood of The Ancient One.
???
Profit
The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.
effect look decent but 5 mana is too much, hard to combo with anything even in big druid

What happens if I Faceless Manipulator this card? will I get 2 fungal lords?

this card looks very poorly :/
The Wild Druid deck with this is gonna be INSANE. You can draw your win conditions so many different ways
What happens if you use prince Taldaram with this? would it summon a third copy. If so then would it be a 3/3 or a 2/4?
Beautiful card.I imagine the sinergies already.

Does This work?
Fungal lord + Faceless = 3 Fungal lords
Break twig get 10 mana back
Play Leroy. You now have 4 Leroy
4 leroy + Savage roar + 2 Mark of the lotus = 42 Damage
5 mana spell + this + 2 Arcane Tyrants. Seems easy to pull of.
Combined with Faceless Manipulators this card snowballs into insanity :-)
Valueeee!

this card is very bad for druid. I think that it's dust.
