posted a message on I haven't even opened any of the 100 packs sitting in my "bag"...

I was really looking forward to Dungeon Runs after watching Kripp, Firebat and JackieChan at the Inn-vitational, which emphasised for me how much fun the deck-developing aspect of it should be. So far I am not disappointed!

Razakus priest, mainly to make the plebs who crafter The Darkness cry.

Quest Rouge, which may finally be viable again if the meta is slow.

Modrange Hunter, which may still be bad, but at least it has some new tools now I would love to test.

Call to Arms paladin, seems god pulling 2 Dirty Rats and Millhouse Manastorm on 4.

Dragon Soul priest can be cool, due to its ease of summoning many 5/5 dragons.

Possibly nothing else is good enough to see competitive play. Maybe evolve shaman.

U want to counter a card that counter´s ur ******** deck?
     Counters*
Yes I will counter it by doing nothing, because it's a 4 mana waste a turn.
Highlander Priest can´t do anything without the Raza,Anduin and Kazakus combo so if ur opponent spends 4 mana to destroy ur on6ly win condition it´s pretty good.
The only way to beat Razakus is by rushing them down. Wasting turn 4 does not help. They can still play Anduin and control the board until raza becomes active. But I know it's hard to pictur this scenario as a player who drools over a 20/20.
The Darkness isn't really about the 20/20 stats (though those are nice), it's about shuffling three candles into your opponent's deck to stall their Raza. It's also not intended as a hard counter, as Razakus has good draw and will eventually get their Raza off, it's intended to level the playing field a little, giving you longer to rush them down.

Quest druid for sure. And I only need 2 of the now cards! One legendary and one common.

Yeah Ixlid, Fungal Lord is a awesome tool. Do think the quest would even fit into big druid? Including Twig of the World Tree e.g?
In my experience, the more ramp you play, the more the quest loses value. And ramp is really important for big druid. I think the deck works best with mid-sized minions and a lot of draw, so once you complete the quest, you can fill your board with mid-sized minions turn after turn. Key cards are The Curator, Coldlight Oracle, Nourish and Menagerie Warden. I think quest druid should have only about 4-6 cards that are actually big. Ixlid, Fungal Lord is good both because it helps complete the quest if you have not done that by turn 8/9 and because you can double up on minions once the quest is completed. In short, I think you could put the quest in big druid and have fun, but it would weaken the deck.
I have no experience with quest druid. But what you are saying sounds definitely reasonable.
I guess Ixlid, Fungal Lord will be a key card for this deck. It helps completing the quest and if not drawn yet it produces insane value in the mid/late game with all the 0 mana cost minions.
Looking forward to try it out!
I agree with BrokenCycle, quest and ramp together don't really work. I'm excited about trying to improve my Keleseth-Quest Druid (to make cards like The Curator and Primordial Drake count towards quest completion), other than that I'd like to try Control Hunter (with big beasts and Kathrena Winterwisp) and improve my Quest paladin deck, but it'll very much depend on what Legendaries I open.

Q: why does everyone like to hang out with Ixlid?

A: Because he is a fungi!

Seriously though he is interesting and will probably see play in some way or another, he could be interesting if played with Jungle Giants, things could get really crazy if he and all your minions are free.

This joke deserves way more upvotes.
I'm definitely looking forward to trying him in a Jungle Giants deck. He'll allow you to put down an extra big board, requiring more board clears from you opponent. Even more fun if you get a second copy of him with a 0-cost Zola the Gorgon.

Can't wait for the clips where someone evolve a 1-drop into Sorcerer's Apprentice or Radiant Elemental and then turn all his other minions into 8+ drops

Will this seriously work? You'd get a zero cost evolve that you can run infinite times as long as you have another minion on the board?
Yes, if 'infinite' here means 'untill they're all Mountain Giant, Arcane Giant or Clockwork Giant (in Wild).

Obviously incredible in Evolve Shaman. It's just a question of whether Evolve Shaman is all that viable. It's only like a T3 deck these days.

Given the large amount of understatted battlecry minions in Kobolds and Catacombs so far, I feel it won't improve, even with this card. Good, yes, but the evolve results overall have on average decreased (looking at you, Lynessa Sunsorrow). I think evolve shaman as a deck will remain at the same power level as it is now, unless there's a drastically different meta that makes it more or less effective.
I think one of the downsides of evolve shaman is the randomness and the inconsistency of evolving. This card gives you more consistency because if you miss an evolve you can just re-roll and not lose any card advantage in the process
True, you can get another roll on the evolve table, at a higher cost, but each roll is no more consistent in and of itself. The extra rolls would've added consistency, but the pool of possible outcomes is, on average, worse than before K&C (so far). So the question becomes, is the advantage of being able to re-roll into a higher evolve several times significantly better than the lower quality for each individual evolve.
And again, I'm not saying it's a bad card, just not such a massive evolve buff as it might seem to be at first glance.

I'm all for interesting meme cards, but unless you have a 2-mana card draw option, the most this seems to do is give your opponent one of your cards. Even for a meme card, I don't really get this one.

it's worse than  that, you give them one of your cards, and a tempo advantage, it's an 8 mana 5/5, they pay 5 mana to get their deck back, keep one of your cards, and have 5 mana left to counter the 5/5 body you just played.
Well exactly, most meme-cards require you to build an inconsistent/odd deck to pull off, you succeed once every 5 games or so and feel great when you. This one (besides that Explore Un'Goro deck) seems designed to make your opponent go: Okay, you've slightly inconvenienced me at a considerable cost to yourself. It's just weird.

posted a message on What do u guys think about the expansion so far?

I'd say it's too early to tell, there's still a lot of cards that need to be released. In terms of card quality so far, what I miss is cards that really promise exciting new deck types or gameplay, as the Quests and Deathknights promised (regardless of how that turned out, it was fun to discover what worked and what didn't). The Weapons just don't hold as much promise to me. Then again, for the past two expansions people have been griping about Blizzard making the game too expansive by not having enough multiclass legendaries, so maybe they're just replying by making most legendaries fun and unique rather than top-tier.

The expansion feels similar to Gadgetzan, thematically a little more wacky and less WoW based, cards that're intended to flesh out existing decks (I know, Gadgetzan brought us Jade and Handbuff, but it also very specifically boosted Dragon Priest and Pirate decks), which isn't necessarily bad since it's the last hurrah before WotOG, Kharazan and Gadgetzan rotate out, but it makes it a little less exciting.

Finally, a personal gripe is that there's a lot of understatted Battlecry minions so far, which is a soft nerf to my beloved evolve shaman (been playing it since WotOG).

posted a message on Hunter legendary weapon: Lifesteal??
    Quote from GMAlon >>

I don't think they will give hunter a lifesteal weapon, and i don't think it will help control hunter be viable.

What hunter need is a GOOD lifesteal beast that is not too expensive, Bloodworm is just not good enough, and as neutral it can't be too good, so it has to be a hunter only minion.

If it will cost less than 5 mana it will also make DK Rexxar twice more likely to get a lifesteal minion - definitely could help in long games.

I hope we will get a low cost weapon with board controling affect, but we will probably get some high mana meme weapon like most of the weapons revealed so far :>

I agree, if they want to make control hunter viable they'd be better off buffing DK Rexxar by introducing a 1-2 mana lifesteal beast or, if that's too good, have a 4-5 lifesteal beast that also does something when you play it (like the [/card] Dispatch Kodo [card] effect). Of course the downside to having a small or overprized minion that's only good with DK Rexxar's ability is that people will whine about it being a collectable card, since it won't see play on its own.

posted a message on Prince Valanar or Xaril?

If you need to craft one, keep in mind that while Xaril, Poisoned Mind has already proven himself as a good card he's rotating out in 5-6 months, whilst I wouldn't be surprised if the princes will find their place in Standard for a while yet.

If it's just a question of which card to include, my general philosophy is: If I can include Barnes, I include Barnes.

There is nothing wrong witth conceding. But for example for me ( i am playing controll deck) after 10 minute game i want to finish my oponent... for better feel or idk. I like that feel when i deserve to win.

Meanwhile, some people consider it BM to not concede with lethal on board because it wastes the winner's time or means something like the loser doesn't accept the defeat. You can't please everyone. Still less ridiculous than Hearthstone emote etiquette though
Huh, never thought of that, though at that point the amount of time 'wasted' seems negligible, really.
Personally I always emote 'hello' at the start of a game, and usually end with 'well played', just out of courtesy (unless I think the 'well played' may be interpreted as sarcastic based on the game that just happened). However, seeing as a lot of people seem to consider any form of emoting as a grave personal insult, I'm not sure why Blizzard hasn't put in an 'auto-squelch' option yet.

Those are all good options. Competitively I'd say Frost Lich Jaina or Y'Shaarj, possibly Open the Waygate if you're interested in Exodia mage. Lyra is good, but less essential, Rexxar is, as you say, not great but tons of fun.
