If you are just after daily quest viability then I would recommend the neutrals. Or even just strategic rares/epics.
Yes daily quests is my main objective, i do craft essential epics and rares from time to time. But i would also like to, you know craft good cards that would make a deck more viable overall. I asked about the two specific dks cause i do have all the class cards for warlock and shaman.
Am currently using mid range hunter and zoo to climb(sometimes even evolve shaman just to change things up) . Would crafting warlock and shaman dk help me to use them in ladder?
I am kinda confused about the entire concept and therefore asked.
I recommend you to focus on epics .. they are used more than most legendaries, but first, see which deck attract you the most, build it
Advice : save some gold to buy like 20 packs from the next exp you can collect 2k so easily
Thank you so much for the advise. I do have all the rares/ epics required for mage, hunter rogue, warlock and shaman. Priest and paladins decks are comparatively expensive so i decided to kep them for laterand i am not really into warrior( i generally replace the quests for these three classes )
I have saved up around 2.5k gold for the next expansion.. Will save more.
The thing is i am kinda getting bored playing the same decks on ladder. So wanted to craft value cards that would help me later on as well. I see prince keleseth and patches being played in quite a few decks... As for the two dks, i find the really interesting.. So asked. Kinda confused.

Wouldn't bother with Shaman DK. It is strong but not essential and I am not convinced it will hold value long term.
The warlock DK is a really strong card so it will likely see play in future meta's. I would consider it a safer craft. Especially considering you play zoo as a "main" deck.
Keleseth has the advantage that it is a neutral so can be played by more classes. It is very strong in warlock and rogue in particular. Patches remains probably the strongest single legendary (but will rotate to wild April next year).

I would wait until next expansion on December, but if you want to craft one now, I would choose Frost Lich Jaina or Lyra the Sunshard because these two cards fit in almost all mage and priest decks. I have Rotface and I run it in an N'Zoth Control deck, but it is just a fun card that can be replaced.
I have a question. If I was to craft a deck with 4 legendaries from the classic packs and one from the new expansion, would I rather open new expansion packs for the dust to create those classic legendaries or should I try my luck and open classics from now on?
Merged a couple threads asking which legendary to craft. Let's try to keep all those questions in this thread instead of making several individual threads. When blizzcon starts this card discussion forum will be swamped.
Shadowreaper Anduin is only a staple in Razakus Priest. It's only sometimes used in Big, Purify, Dragon, and other Priest decks. It still stays tier 1, but a big word of warning that if new players want to play Razakus Priest, they practically also need Raza the Chained. They do not necessarily require Kazakus but it is greatly recommended. Just wanted to say this before someone uses 1600 dust and needs another 1600 for the other legendary.
Let me quote your heading: 'These are the kings of the meta today'. - So you're judging this on the meta of today.
Patches the Pirate in 31% of decks - He only gets played in aggressive decks so that's a huge percentage, he's tier 1. He should define the quality that is tier 1. Fair enough.
Sunkeeper Tarim isn't seen much since Paladin sucks a bit now, he cannot be tier 1 since there such a low representation now. Same with Finja. The fact that Raza The Unchained is here PROVES that this is done by what is going on TODAY.
And so.... The Lich King is here, a card that sees fringe play at the best of times. It may be a good craft for new players, but then why are cards like Lyra and Cairne up there? Since Cairne has been garbage since Vanilla. LK sees play in 14% of decks and considering he fits into ALL classes and ALL types of decks, this is astonishingly low for a tier 1 card.
Keleseth sees 24% play, and he is hugely limited, that's tier 1. Prophet Velen being tier 1 proves you're doing this by power level now, Velen will most likely go back to sucking soon, new players should not craft this.
If LK is to remain tier 1 then you need to be more specific and divide Patches/Keleseth/Aya from the rest of them because the power level between them and cards like LK is more than the gap between LK and tier 5.

We have been over this MoonSorrow...
This guide is not for people who wants to play Professional. This is a guide to help people decide which cards will help them the most, if they have a limited amount of dust. In this case the Lich King is top tier, as you can put it in as a replacement of an other big card in just about every single Midrange and Control deck.
Also if we look only at how much they have been played. Then The Lich King is currently the 8th most played legendary. Which is argueably Tier 1. If we look only at winrates, then we see that cards like Deathwing'Dragonlord has a higher winrate than several of the current top tier legendaries.
We have tried to take all of these factors into consideration, and we ended up with this list, that most people seemt to agree on.
Edit: Also Neutral cards have been weighted slightly higher in this list, as they are more valueable as they can be put into considerably more decks.
I wouldn't call dr boom tier 1. I have played a lot of wild and you almost never see it except maybe at really low ranks by players who think it's as good as it was in the past. it's just not a tier 1 card anymore, maybe tier 3.
I dont think they really looked into wild
Whether they looked or not, Dr. Boom is still the best unconditional 7 drop in the game. Including the damage of the boom bots, he has the best stat to mana ratio in the game. Better than Savannah Highmane, better than Bonemare and better than Twin Emperor Vek'lor . You have him on turn 7, playing him is almost always correct. He is a tier 1 legendary.

-My point is there is so much discrepancy with what you say. New players should craft Velen, you say? -Being a neutral and the 8th most played legendary isn't that great, like I said. -Small sample size with DW. -There are clear differences between how some cards are look at, and it's based off different things. - 8th most played legendary, which is neutral and can fit in all kinds of decks, aggro or control as a tier 1 card should be first or second, maybe even third. But 8th? That is so low for a T1 flexible card.

Although some cards excel more in some parts of the scoring than the other does.
Hunter is one of my favourite class, and I am about to get golden hero(30 wins left), but I miss Rexxar DK.
My question is that is it worth crafting it?
Is it essential in standard ranked, expecially above ranked 5?
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
If you like hunter, then yes, he is finding his way into a lot of midrange- and slower decks and has a good winrate. A bonus is that creating zombie beasts is absolutely hilarious!

Changed the wording. A bit more clunky, but it should reflect reality a bit better.
Finja, the Flying Star can be bumped to tier 2, but for now, it seems to be a question of fashion, more than that murloc paladin is worse in the meta.

But Bloodmage and Keleseth are not viable in every single deck. If LK is tier 1, then he should be run in most decks which means he should be first or second, even ahead of Patches since Patches is only for aggressive decks.

LK can fit in much more decks than Bloodmage and Kelseth, he is a bit like Ragnaros the Firelord, a big threat which can win you games no matter which other cards you play, and which class. If your control- or midrange deck needs more lategame power, he can always be jammed in there. Not to mention he is fun for new players, opening up the the DK-cards in your collection.
Patches will rotate out next april
