I figured they wouldn't print Glacial Mysteries without realizing Mages don't have secrets that generate value in the late game. A staple in those decks for sure. Just like with Mirror Entity, you need to play this later in the game to make it harder to give you dud cards. A fine secret.
A combination of Mirror image and mana bind. The first being very easy to counter, and the second having no extremely negative immediate externalities for you opponent. Chances are, this card would have an affect similar to the combination of the 2 and would just be good. 6.5/10
However, playing around this card doesnt work as well. To play around Mirror Entity, you simply had to play a minion with low onboard stats. With this secret, if you are playing around mirror with say, Swashburglar, the opponent actually gets really good value.
I don't understand why people said it's OP it just another mirror entity Every one in rank 15+ can play around it. only different is make your opponent play around harder if they wanna play some powerful battlecry
Mirror Entity has the problem that, if people drop a 1-2 cost minion with a battlecry, you lose tons of value and tempo. With this one as long as it's a 2-drop, you actually gain value.
This should be a nice addition to secret mage decks, which struggle to keep going in the mid-late game. Especially in wild, this one is brilliant to get out of a Mad Scientist. Having Mirror Entity in play often makes it really difficult to play your Duplicate and Effigy and gaining tempo out of Kabal Crystal Runner, this secret doesn't have that problem.
