Will definitely see play, even if simply because of how desperate druid is for board clears. Auto include in quest druid. Sadly not very practical against shamans because of hex and devolve...
If Dirty Rat pull this card from your hand, it seems it will not have deathrattle effect at all, which means N'zoth can't summon it, right? Besides read the text, it says give them (all minions) +2/+2, which means you are buffing enemy minions too. Anyway I liked it and secret deathrattle effect
excavated evil saw play in priest, this just dos it for a deathrattle with a 5/3 body for the same mana cost looks very strong. the +2+2 is a litle bonus but even if it was just the aoethis would most likely see play if druid sees play.
I love the idea of picking your deathrattle, especially secretly, but does the second option mean your opponent's minions are also buffed? If so, I don't want to take any risks with this card.

I think N'Zoth would summon it anuways. If your opponent silences you Sludge Belcher and kills it, N'Zoth summons it anyways
Interesting card. You either wipe the whole board or buff it all. Not sure I want to buff the opponents minions. Looks like it could have a positive interaction with the Druid Quest if you used it to control the board early.

Whether or not n'zoth summons a minion depends on if it has death rattle "naturally" as part of itself. Sludge belcher does, so it gets resummoned even after silenced. As for this card the answer is *drumrollplz* There's no way to know! Blizzard has been inconsistent with how the choose one cards work. Sometimes they make whole new cards that have these traits naturally. Which if that happened with this, n'zoth would summon it back. Sometimes they simply buff themselves and so don't have the traits naturally. Which if that happens with this, n'zoth won't summon it back.
My personal guess is, it'll apply the buff. But that's basically a shot in the dark. Thanks to blizzards refusal to change the cards to be consistent there's actually no way to know if it works until we get to play the card.
IDK defensively its an abomination without taunt, but higher AOE, not sure its good enough for standart. Offensively, I think there are better drops at 5.
sorry but I'm really courios now... and I see this every day several times from random ppl. why do you call it standart instead of standard? it can't be a typo this way. :)
once again, I'm not mocking you or anything like that, I just want to know. thx.
I'm from US, but I saw another forum user who English was a second language to answer this before... Standart is the word for standard i quite a few languages... I think Turkish is the only language using our alphabet though... I think it might also be Slavic (but obviously spelled in Cyrillic letters normally.) ... Edit: Just an easy mistake to make when English isn't your first language... especially if your first language doesn't even use the same letters.
No, it's standard in Slavic languages, standart is in Germanic languages.
Thanks for clearing that up! I was remembering a thread from more than a year ago.
Edit: actually upon further review it is spelled Standart in Hebrew and arguably pronounced "standart" in Russian and possibly Czech, even through Russians probably borrowed it from the German. so my original comment stands.
What Nicholas said. My native language is russian. In russian and most slavic languages standard is "standart". In russian cyrillic it's "Стандарт". Just look at the bottle of Russian Standard and you will see word standard ends with T. That's the way we pronounce it and its one of the words that's just weird to pronounce with D on the end for us.

It's just like all the people calling Rogue "Rouge". On a french cell phone, it will automatically autocorrect to rouge, which means "red". I had to tweak my typing app to stop doing it
While I love the idea of this card, I don't expect it to be very good.
Deathrattle buffs cards have always had the problem of the deathrattle minion being killed last. Just compare the effectiveness of Dark Cultist to Kabal Talonpriest. Spawn of N'Zoth doesn't see much play either. The exception is Tortollan Shellraiser because she has taunt.
Deathrattle AoE hasn't had much success either. Perhaps part of the problem is that the 2 damage from Explosive Sheep and Abomination just isn't enough, but even Chillmaw saw more play as discovery from Netherspite Historian than as a card included in decks. And lacking taunt, the opponent has more options to play around this new card's AoE.
The deathrattle being secret is a nice mechanic, but like Curious Glimmerroot I think the pick will be pretty predictable most of the time. Sometimes there might be opportunities for mind games by picking the less likely option, but actually gaining an advantage from picking buff when you're behind on the board or picking AoE when you're ahead will be difficult.

It would not. N'zoth looks for the keyword on the card itself. So even if a sludge belcher is silenced the base card still has deathrattle. Silence doesn't delete the keyword. In the case of this card, they keyword doesn't show up on the card till you actually choose one. For example Druid of the Claw has no key word if it Dirty Rat pulls him from hand. Just a vanilla 4/4 essentially. However if you DO choose one the base card played essentially changes to have the Keyword Taunt or Charge respectively. So if dirty rat pulls this from hand you don't get to choose one, no deathrattle keyword shows up and hence N'zoth does not re summon. However if you played it normally the deathrattle keyword would be given and N'zoth would resummon it with the specific choice you made previously.
"Secretly" Now that is definitely an interesting card though depending on the board state your opponent will more likely know which of the two choices was picked. Taking into account the current state of the game(aggressive decks etc) and druid's need for good AOE other than Swipe and taking into consideration the cost of the card I'd say "Deal 3 damage to all minions" will be the pick more often than not. If the board is already developed it is a win-more card.
One thing is certain, it will help a lot with the Druid quest, Jungle Giants and I am very happy about that!

Just for the Druid AoE, its playable... or if your a token Druid it playable too (blah)
I don't know anything about Warcraft lore, but isn't this fella a beast? Looks like a mantis to me.
Knights of the Frozen Throne Actual Card Text: Druid Edition.
Fatespinner. 5 mana. 5/3. Choose a Deathrattle that deals 3 damage to all minions.

Would this count as a Choose One Effect?
Buff enemy minions, too? Bad card.

It took them years to make a new druid board clear
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Holy shit. Even on Hearthpwn, how can ANYONE not like this card!?
