All future Legendary card discussion polls should remove the "Dust It!" option as Blizzard would nerf dusting bad legendaries with release of the new expansion. Unless you want to open this crappy card over and over again :P.
Probally a bad card since not having any 2 drops could really screw you over with curve, and the effect is to slow as well. Maybe you could bounce this or it would be alright in Quest Hunter or possibly Zoo though it's a big sacrifice for Zoo, it's probally just not gonna work. Cool effect though.
This is a pretty interesting card. I like how it forces unique design. People say that getting +1/+1doesn't matter for control decks but in the late-game I would argue it does. There are many times where you get a more favorable trade or put something out of range for a large spell, etc. Alternatively this is a great card to play with Hemet Jungle Hunter. What sort of deck plays this? I suppose Druid does come to mind. And as others said another potential route is an unusual zoolock deck. Or the Hunter Quest Deck.
I guess we'll have to wait and see on the rest of the set but even now it's not a terrible card. There are some cards that can be played with it.
Too early draw dependent for aggro decks and the fact that you need to remove the 2 mana cards is HUGE. This will see play as a lot of different decks will try to make it work, but since the value goes down so quickly the later you draw it. Ehhhh?
This is not a control card you play this in a super aggressive Warlock deck with only 1 and 3 drops.
Agreed. The question is not which deck this could see play in... We obviously haven't constructed those decks. The question is which heroes can afford to always hero power turn 2... Answer Warlock and rogue. They probably could have made it a dual class card and it would have seen as much play.
I still love The Mistcaller, but he's still terrible and the lower cost of this guy doesn't make him any better. If it were "2 cost minions" maybe you could still play on curve but you can't reliably draw him to get his benefit and you forfeit T2 (or at least force yourself to have multiple 1 costs cards to play) so I can't imagine this will be anything more than terrible tempo in all the matches you don't get him in mulligan.
The effect of the mistcaller on a 2 mana 2/2 minion would be pretty insane. Just look at the stats of Grimestreet Outfitter and he merely affects your Hand. You start to benefit from it on turn 3 (turn 2 with coin).
Fortunately, Prince Keleseth doesn't have teh effect of the mistcaller. Or at least not only, but also a pretty big disadvantage.
You didn't learn from Mistcaller ? Having a card that has an impact on the board (Heal, charge, taunt, removal) is not the same as buffing cards in your deck.
If Mistcaller was 6/6 for 6 manas will see play in some decks, 4/4 for 6 manas and no impact on the board kill the card, this one is 2/2 for 2 manas, don't will see play in shaman because shaman have too many good cards in 2 manas slot but warlock and maybe druid can use this card.
Having only this card as a 2 drop means that 80% of the time, you'll just hero power and emote on turn 2, and we've seen with priest, it's pretty bad.
@M_thaliana, I'm pretty sure that this is what most people were thinking of, but..... This is SOOOO dependent on getting Prince Keleseth EARLY. Otherwise this is a buff-less pally deck that is crazy weak. Plus Fire Fly is weaker as the Fire Elemental doesn't get a buff and Lost in the Jungle doesn't get buff. Finja, the Flying Star can't pull Bluegill Warrior which is crazy bad.... I just don't see it.
We'll see :) Lost in the Jungle might suck, but Fire Fly is good regardless and small time recruits allows you to fill your deck with all the OP one drops so that you don't need two drops. Finja can still pull Murloc Warleaders... but you're probably right :)
and after really looking at it, if you don't get Prince Keleseth real early the deck is just a bunch of REALLY weak cards. Honestly, I think a more mid-range to control deck might play this as they won't be affected as hard with the lack or 2 draws. But I doubt it.
I will try it for fun, maybe in quest hunter or something similar. However, not really willing to completely hamstring my deck by not running two cost cards just to run this guy then not draw him till turn 10

Blizzard just revealed a card that has synergy with Prince Keleseth. My CN friend showed me this card.

Lyra is going to be a terrible card...wait what thread am I in?

Fun card. You don't actually need two drops if you give one drops +1/+1.
Rogues like to hero power at 2 mana anyway, so ... maybe?
I'm just not sure I want to play Rogue without Eviscerate.

Fire Fly is a Pseudo 2 drop. Maybe blizzard will give us more cards like it.

I think it is playable in a very aggressive high 1 drop deck. Pali might work;

This card put a heavy restriction, for a minion who will sometimes be in the ten last cards of your deck...
