You get a shielded minibot(The best 2drop in the game) or a vastly superior Haunted Creeper(an OP card) or a 2 mana 2-5 or 5-2(both insane stats for the cost) or a 3-3 for 2 mana(still very good).
You'd have to be pretty unlucky to not have a single good adaptation to choose from.
What makes it weak is not the actual adapt effect or stats, it is the condition that needs to be met in order to get the adapt. Usually when you run a two drop in your deck like this one you ultimately want to play it on turn two, but having two minions by turn two is very unlikely, since cards like ally cat and Lost in the jungle can be easily disrupted by 1 damage.
I'm not super hopeful about Adapt in general. It seems like it's been pre-nerfed. I had that thought about Inspire, like the cards all seemed too expensive, like Bliz had playtested and found out the effects were too good, and felt they needed to knock everything down a peg. Adapt really has the same kind of feel to it, and we all saw that Inspire was... generally not practical.
Okay, let's consider the Adapt options on this minion. A 2 mana 5/2 will still get removed pretty easily by spells as well as a 2 mana 3/3, though a 2 mana 2/5 will have a significant amount of board presence. A 2 mana 2/2 with Divine Shield is good (I mean, think Shielded Minibot), a 2 mana 2/2 with Stealth is a worse Gilblin Stalker but isn't the worst, a 2 mana 2/2 with Can't be targeted by Spells or Hero Powers is a worse Faerie Dragon but still not bad, I'm not sure if a Poisonous 2 mana 2/2 will be that strong, and a 2 mana 2/2 with Windfury or Taunt isn't gonna be useful. But all that aside, I can still see this thing being played in Zoolock and Secret Hunter.
Finally a decent 2 drop for paladin, IF you can get that 2 other minions. It can be a better Haunted Creeper or a Shielded Minibot, both very good for stickiness and MAAAAYBE to make the shell of the "buffadin" deck. Cool card, will see play.
It's a pretty decent 2-drop all things considered.
Btw, that's not how discovering works. The chance to get only bad results is REALLY low.
We take that 5 out of 5 results are bad so the chance for the first discovery to have a bad result = 50%. The chance for the second discovery to have a bad result as well = 22.22...%. The chance that all 3 have a bad result is 7.4%.
So 92.6% chance for it to be good and only 7.4 that it's bad. Most people don't seem to understand how math works.
Yeah, kind of like how finley for aggro shaman/pirate warrior has a very high chance of offering a tier 1 (huntard shot/life tap) choice.
This is a fine card for Shaman. With one minion on the field you can totem into this whenever you want. A 2/2 with Divine Shield for 2 is the old shielded minibot.

Filler card reporting for duty, Sir!

Shielded mINIBOT
Just insane card! It will be playable for hunters, paladin and warrior with pirate package (t2+coin = pirate and this), also playable in zoo.
Finally paladin got Shielded Minibot again )

S39 Legend - Quest Rogue, S38 Legend - Murloc Paladin, S37 Legend - Miracle Rogue, S36 Top 200 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S35 - Finished Rank 51 Legend - Aggro Shaman, S34 Legend - Aggro Shaman
Just wish they wouldn´t have screwed up so many artwork...
peace of shit
Maybe with 3 HP it woould have seen some play in constructed but the 2 minions requirement is too much for the outcome we get.
And overall card is too weak.
I will play this in zoolock. Looks like pretty decent card.
Shielded Minibot
At worst this card is a 2 mana 2/2 beast.
At best its better than some of the best 2 drops in the game.
This is a fine card for Shaman. With one minion on the field you can totem into this whenever you want. A 2/2 with Divine Shield for 2 is the old shielded minibot.
