I also want to do that after Un'Goro, I did this deck when Pterrordax came out. Do you think this little runt can find a place in the deck? What would it replace? (The deck is probably not perfect, eg. a soulfire should be included but I will change it after testing)
The good ones are +1+1, +0+3, divine shield, deathrattle: summ 2 1/1, 40% chance to get one of those, but since it's a discover effect I think it should be around 83% chance. If you count +3 attack as "fine to get" you have around 92% chance to get something you like.
so, if you can activate his battlecry on turn 2 or 3 consistently, this is the best 2 drop in standard. If you can't, that's a 2/2 beast, which is trash. We'll see
Really only worthwhile if your deck has a light curve with lots of small minions, such as zoo. +3 Health, Divine Shield and the Deathrattle are the clear winners, but +3 Attack or +1/+1 later in the game is acceptable. Adapt as a whole needs to be tested out to feel out its success rate based on each card, but it lives and dies based on the how its flexibility is useful to decks that run it.

Had it been a 2/3 I would have rated it amazing, but since its a 2/2, the best thing that can come out of it i feel is shielded mini bot/haunted creeper
If it sees play, it will see play in zoo decks or quest buffadin because you always will mulligan for the double 1/1s and this most likely.
So yes, some outcomes make it a minion that's worth 3 mana, and you get some flexibility by choosing, but is it really worth playing this card? I think no.
Okay so 1/3 chance of being meta-worthy and there are 3 choices each time you adapt. The card is decent
1. The requirement isn't easy to hit (not hard, but not easy)
2. 5/9 adaptations make this card basically a 2 mana 2/2 which is just awful. 2 mana 2/3s don't see play in standard unless they have some kind of effect, and that's talking about 2/3s. 2/2 is abysmal. Basically 1/3rd of the time this card could risk losing you the game entirely early.
3. Doesn't do anything when it comes onto the board. Pretty self explanatory.
How are people forgetting that pirates can consistently get two creatures in play on turn one... Patches....
Exactly. And Adapt is actually quite strong: A turn 2 Ice Rager seems not bad in Pirate Warrior. But even if it's not Pirate Warrior: many aggro decks have only a pirate skeleton like Aggro Shaman. And a 2/2 with Divine Shield (or a 2/5) is really not bad.
Still not sure if it's enough, but compared to many minions that are totally overrated, this tiny minion is a bit underrated.
It's a decent minion when everything fall into place. However, it's not really amazing outside of the curve.
It's so cute.
on curve turn 2, 80% of the time this will just be a 2/2. the other 20% it's a Shielded Minibot or something equivalent....trash, dust it.
Wishing everyone a cute KAWAIII journey to Un'Goro ..!
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"It could be useful in a number of different archetypes, and you can play on curve in paladin, hunter and druid with the 1 drop- double minions.
Obvious Beast Mage will be a thing. No one got synergy like Mage does: Mirror Image -> Ravasaur Runt

If a card is good only in zoo, it's still good.

It's just too cute

Wild zoo then
Won't see play in standard at all because:
