I remember a lot of people saying Flame Juggler are thash card and see play.
I don't that flame juggler is seeing any play currently, although it was played in aggressive decks for a while only because a lack of better alternatives. The kind of deck you would put this in would be some sort of slow midrange deck, very board-centric. I could see it finding a place only for a lack of alternative cards, if it desperately is missing two drops.
I've seen some people mention zoo, it's unplayable in zoo.
It's a decent anti-facedeck card. Not a lot of face decks out there right now though. Mostly midrange/tempo.
But, if Pirate Warrior gets abusive this might help. You probably can't afford to just ignore this guy. So, sort of a 2/3 with taunt vs. the right matchups. But, I think it's a filler card that won't see play, because 2/3 with Taunt probably wouldn't see play either. It's not like Robocub ruled the day even in the times when face hunter was a thing.
Art seems low resolution but it's more likely due the source than it looking as bad in-game.
Anyway considering it's called a Friendly bartender, they could have made him pacifist or something and make the effect heal more. 0/3 with stronger healing effect would be nice way for some tactical healing.
It's one of those cards which sound nice, but that's about it. I know people have said this great for buffing Holy Champion, but it could also help to get other minions to become more active at the end of the turn likeNorthshire Cleric, Shadowboxer or Lightwarden.
But to be honest even if somebody created a deck which could help get all those effects triggering, it's a lot of effort just for one card. Still if you have low health, it could be a nice card to play, so long as your opponent doesn't kill it or has too much burst damage.
No, this card is actually big deal, will see much play.
This card will see zero play after week 1. It's weaker then Flame Juggler and that card is only in a small amount of aggro decks.
It's a 2 mana 2/3 with an upside. No one can tell if this will see 0 play yet. It definitely has little potential to see play, either as a priest 2 drop in comboheal deck (this is definitely going in the Wild tempo priest list), or as an anti-face tech if said face decks exist in the upcoming meta.
It will also be played by F2P players in lower ranks, I can definitely see a number of reasons to play this over flamejuggler in slower decks.
So yeah, not quite "zero play" yet, let's wait and see.
Been playing this since the beginning and a top player it's not to overly hard to pick out the ones that won't make the cut.
Rogue will never run this..........Mage will never run this........Druid will never run this.......Warrior will never run this........Shaman will never run this........Hunter will never run this.......Warlock will never run this.......Paladin will never run this......
Only class that leaves us is Priest which just so happens is the one getting all the OP cards this expansion, one would imagine they will be getting a very good 2 drop. The single heal is super weak synergy..Won't be any room for bad trash like this in 2 slot.
You're being very optimistic...Am just being realistic on what will actually end up happening....After week 1.....Zero play.....It's just a filler card with slight power creep over non text 2/3 cards just like Huge Toad for 3/2's.
Also Wild decks won't touch this either...If it's bad in Standard that normally means even worse in Wild....Wyrmrest Agent, Shrinkmeister and Shadowboxer are all better.
This card isn't awful but it's not quite good enough for constructed. Most of the time this guy will be a 2/3: Heal your hero for 0-1. I say 0 because a lot of times you'd be at full health when playing Friendly Bartender and it just ends up being a vanilla 2/3. Very very rarely will this ever heal you for 2 or more. In my eyes, that makes this a pretty mediocre card at best. BUT! There may be some synergies yet to be revealed that might push this card into constructed play. It's possible.
This might be the most powerful healing card that rogue has access to in standard, and they have very little to do on turn 2 anyway. Again, everything can happen as long as the card is fairly stated, and it is.
But hey, keep claiming you are a "top player" if you think that's relevant to the discussion, imo players who don't bother experimenting are pretty low players. I've been playing since Beta too, but again I don't see why this is relevant.
Also not every card needs to be bothered with experimenting....I don't need to experiment with Grook Fu Master to tell you it's bad and won't make the cut. Top players don't need to waste the time on certain cards like that, they run the synergies and possibilities through their head.
On turn 2 when you drop this your likely to be full health anyway so the text is useless and it's bad late game. Your crazy if you think Rogue will include this...Please tell me what deck that fits into.

Earthen ring farseer competes with far superior 3 mana cards for rogue. Mistress of mixtures and refreshment vendor heal the opponent, this doesn't. Also mistress of mixtures is turn 1 so you're even more likely to be at full health when it dies than friendly bartender. Any class that play something on turn 1, or ping your face on turn 2, and that's it the bartender is activated.
Of course there are cards that don't need to be tested at all like grook fu master. But friendly bartender is NOT one of these cards.
I told you already what classes COULD play this, I don't think anything yet how could I know, this is why i'm going to experiment with this card in priest and rogue decks.
Except you will rarely be damaged turn to in rogue, unless you're trading with the dagger, so I don't see how that helps in this situation other than the enemy is likely to remove it. On the other hand, this is a decent late game play for a rogue if they can keep the board empty.

It's a good card for 2 mana, nice synergy with lightwarden and holy champion.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Not amazing but I like it. Definitely going to at least try it out in a couple decks

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
Unfortunately, cleric is activated only by healing minions.
My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
If I want anti-aggro, I'll use Mistress of Mixtures, which is also common, heals more (in most cases) and costs less.

Not the best card but I like it a lot. I doubt it will see a lot of play outside arena but I hope a deck will find a place for this card.
Curve Priest maybe? You need something to buff with talonpriest right?
Just fits in highlander decks i think. I like this card a lot, i dont know why exactly :D
