Here's a video of what is absolutely the worst play I've ever seen in arena (full disclosure, video is mine). He threw away 4 cards including the coin on the first turn! What's the worst play you've ever seen?
Uh, how am I being salty? I'm pointing out somebody making a bad play, and bringing awareness to why you shouldn't burn 4 cards to do 4 damage to face turn 1 in arena?
poor guy was probably newish to hearthstone and was trying to complete an arena quest or something, if not, then ye it's pretty bad but calling him worst arena player ever? tad harsh.......lol
MMM maybe it is a bit harsh. But even if he is new, he might legitimately be the worst ever. I challenge someone to tell me about a worse one and if they do, I will change the thumbnail to be nicer. :)
EDIT: you know what, you're right. I will call it the worst play ever instead of the worst player. I should challenge the play, not the person, and it was harsh of me to do the latter.
He played as bad as you edited this video. It's lenght could be easily reduced to 45 seconds and this bg music combined with your voiceover is annoying.
1 The play isn't horrible per se. It's possible penguin into hallucination was just the best opening available with a sub-optimal hand. A worse play might have been turn one pass turn two pass turn three pass. And the case can be made that your opponent misclicked. Soul fire on the your minion is defensible to protect the penguin.
2 Failing to consider playing the dragon on turn 4 is overly ambitious. Dragon plays around a possible hellfire one of the few ways you might lose this game. And your opponent is almost certain to trade anyway. It doesn't qualify as a bad play but it is less optimal when it is not an available option.
3 And finally your opening hand curved out to turn five. And that's just tough to beat when you're not on the play to begin with much less when you're behind from the start.
Trying not to be rude but this looks like a post made purposely to promote Your channel. Stuff like "What was the worst play you've seen" should be a question for Your youtubers. Idk tho, maybe that's just my opinion. Anyway yeah, probably his first arena ever, not much to see here. Seen people coining pings to the face or coin passing. Nothing special.
Lol.. I don't think people fully understand how bad the play was (especially compared to like "coin, ping", for example)-
1: He played a 1/1 into my 1/3 - 1 card burned.
2: He Hallucinated after playing the 1/1 instead of before.
3: Once he got soulfire, he coined it out to do 4 damage to my face, knocking me all the way down to 26, discarding a mastodon.
So, he gave up 4 cards (snowflipper penguin, coin, soulfire, mastodon) to do absolutely nothing. On turn 1. Hands down worst play ever. If he had just coin, pinged (as a mage) it wouldn't even be worth talking about.
I got turn 1 Holy Smited in the face the other day as well. What was worse was that I was also playing Priest so it's not like the 2 damage is going to matter over the course of the game.
A while back I also got turn 1 Claw to the face and he also played another face damage card turn 2, can't remember what that was though.
I won both the games of course. Unsurprisingly, those plays happened on the US server, I have a much higher average on that server than on EU and Asia.

I mean he could have been trying to "force" you to spend your T2 healing yourself instead of playin a 2-drop. However stupid idea that was, there could be an argument to be made :)
Yes, he could have had an unexpected 28 damage combo available on turn 2, I suppose ;)
You only ever heal yourself as a priest to prevent lethal outs (on board/reasonable amount from hand/racing and that reduces your clock) or you have spare mana and there's no injured minions to heal (or healing them means they can still be removed anyway).
when I first started playing, before I had unlocked all the basic cards for each class, I used to coin out hero power cuz I didn't want to waste mana. my intentions were correct, the application not so much! lol

Wow! Coin -> Hero Power would have been a better play! I wish I could find these oppononents when I play arena!

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.

3 things

Wow, a five minute video to show that a noob made a bad play with soulfire. #breakingnews.
If you're gonna shamelessly plug your stream, at least be honest about it ;)

Playing a 1/1 into a 1/3 is far worse then passing. He played that before the hallucinate so you can't even use a misclick to defend that play.
