10+1 wins with a mage aggro deck. The deck was poor quality (105 average - grinninggoat chart), had almost no spells and most initiative came from minions like Elven Archer, Fire Plume Phoenix (MVP) and Twilight Flamecaller.
The deck felt trash, but had a very low curve (I was forced to pick 3 Bilefin Tidehunters despite already having a full curve on 2; I had just one 6-mana card and nothing above) and I had some luck with draws / discover. I'm sure I made some mistakes, one very clearly cost me a game against Paladin and in one other game I lost, I think I could have won if I had went for a more aggressive mulligan, though it was at 11 wins and the Rogue clearly outclassed me in card quality.
0-3 with Mage! Barely a 60 point draft. Had a firelands Portal and a bunch of crap vanilla cards. Played against several decks that had so much synergy they could have been constructed.
At least it was free and I got an extra pack out of the whipping!
The first I had terrible draw against a pali, and they were just dumping stuff off the curve nonstop. I wasn't competitive till turn 6, and by then I just didn't have the board clear to catch up. It happens, it's part of the game.
The second game, I whittled down the guy all game and it was my turn, had 2 minions on the board, and lethal between them. Hit them with my first, and after it hits, the game freezes on my phone. They have 2 health left. I'm looking at my Giant Anaconda furiously trying to get it to attack. My mobile client somehow DC'd and sure enough, it couldn't reconnect to the game. Was frustrating as I was on wifi with nearly full signal. I log in, thinking maybe they conceded knowing it was all over. Nope. I lost. Trying to be a mature adult, I think, "hey it happens, time for an epic run with 2 losses on the books"
My third game, I usually play in windowed mode on my PC, and went to the options menu to go full screen because I guess I wanted a full view of what I thought was going to be a comeback run. However somehow, I mis-clicked options, and hit concede instead. I sat there staring at what I just did, the pile of scattered dirt where Malfurion once was, and wondering if I should play video games for the next week.
Not including the free win, just one. As someone who hasn't played in a while, Arena still seems to be all about whoever gets better draft options and whoever draws better, not who makes the best plays each turn. Or, whoever plays Vicious Fledgling. This experience does not make me want to play more Arena. Good job Blizzard.
Do I still get a free run if I was running another run or am I just unlucky? :(
Currently 5-1 with Hunter.
No, that will be just a normal run. As for me so far 6-3 and 7-3 with rogue. Total 320 gold. Let's see with mage now. Got pyroblast fireball cabalist tome Meteor 2 polymorph 2 steam surge 2 kalimos and a bunch of elemental, should be good

I think that's my general feeling, but there are people that live by the arena.
well I went 4-3 with a great aggro druid just now, feels really bad when one of the losses is your internet deciding to stop working just after you started a run.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
i was 7-1 lost a game got tilted and retired whit mage
Dude, arena is definitely not for you. You didn't have to retire it just chill out for a day and continue playing. With 7-1 you had quite good chances for 12 wins especially now when there are a lot of beginners in arena.
1-3 due to getting pretty much the worst draft I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Almost conceded straight out but decided to see what happened and was completely unsurprised. No legendaries, one choice of epics (Emerald Hive Queen, Weasel Tunneler, and Primalfin Champion), no spells offered besides crappy secrets, no weapons offered, and no card synergy. If I'm remembering correctly I only had a single minion with an attack greater than 5 (Giant Mastodon), and my only big gun was a Volcanosaur that only seemed to want to adapt in ways that were completely useless with regards to the situations in which I actually got to play it. This is all ignoring the fact that my choice of class was between Pally, Warrior, and Shaman...
It was a sad sad draft, and it reminds me of the luck that lead to me quitting arena a few months ago.
3-0 (counting the free win), rogue, still running it. By far one of the worst decks I've ever drafted, and bad pick options being the reason why I hate arena. I can do fine against inexperienced players, but once I get a decent pally/mage on my path I know full well I'm gonna babyrage. #SaltyLifeStyle

Let me tell you about 3 games with a druid.

62 points mage deck, 3 wins feelsbadman
12-1
No grammar police here just to troll OP?? I'm very disappointed
Haven't gotten to my free Arena ticket yet, I haven't lost yet in the arena runs I have going across the three regions.
Stopped at 1-1 (2-1) with mid-range Mage. First game: Hunter with Vicious Fledgling on curve. I stabilize with 6 health. Second game: Paladin w/ 3 Dinosize. Silvermoon Portal into Millhouse Manastorm along the way. Empty handed, top-decks Mind Control Tech and takes Bog Creeper.
Easy 7 wins you say? What arena is that? I'd like to know :)
"Put 'em all in", they said. "You gon' be ballin", they said.
Currently at 7-1 with Druid, made 1 misplay and lost a game.
Defeat Deathwhisper!

Paladin 8-3. Had N'Zoth, the Corruptor but didn't do much. 210 gold + pack reward. Pretty good for a free arena.
10/3 get about 260 g 1 g rare and pack
Dr. Boom
4-3 with Rogue, had a terrible draft but I never do Arena so it was fine.

Drafted a paladin deck that almost never curved until turn 3
Still went 10-3, was a good time.
