I found that the best deck is a simple Pirate/Weapon Rogue deck (with added surprises like Burgle and Beneath the Grounds for extra support. Just use your hero power to keep below your opponent and for minion control, build up your side, and then shoot forward with all the minions you have at the end.
I just had 5 wins out of 5 games with this quick deck. Stole some ideas from a deck in this thread, replaced some cards I don't have. It's not optimal, but works fine. My strategy is to keep below opponent's health, controlling his side of the board while building mine, until I have 15 health or less (and he is at ~20) - usually turn 5-6. At that point I switch to face mode and win :).
Thought this brawl had potential to be interesting, but after getting my pack in all three regions, I think I'm done with it. I just didn't think it was very fun, as compared to the portal brawl where I got 10+ wins in each region. The element of magic was just missing from this one - no 'whoa!' moments, just boring, lengthier than usual games.
The wording on this brawl is absolute trash like always.
Apparently:
* The health difference needs to be 4 or bigger. * Random minion only gets summoned at the start of your turn. * Can only summon 3-cost minions or lower (?) (needs confirmation)
I don't like it.
Goes to show how little thought blizzard put into the inportant stuff of this game.
They don't tell u everything because if there is a bug, they can say that it is actually intended.
Amusingly enough, druid mill may be a very solid deck for this brawl, as you have enough heals to keep yourself afloat and also control the life difference so your basically down the entire match (except when you kick into fatigue) - while also being able to better control the life difference with Healing Touch to ensure that you are getting the most value by always getting a minion to generate each turn. This, when backed up with your spell arsenal, basically allows you to sit there the entire match with board control, building up an army of spawned minions, until you can go into fatigue and rapidly down the opponent.

Then you played the wrong deck ;) Usually my games are over at turn 6-8. And without those long lasting portal animations ;)
I like to share here my deck as well. I think it is totally worth testing it. It is a demon tempo deck, which goes for board control in the beginning and if your board is strong enough you switch and go to face. It is really fun to play and really successful. I played over 25 games and my winrate is around 70%. With the latest adjustments even higher. Especially against Warlocks i have a win rate over 80% and you have Warlocks in every second match-up.
It's MORE THAN 3 health.

Works every time lol.

This is by far the worst Tavern Brawl... it's really no different then just making a Tavern Brawl that says play against a random Warlock deck.

The only spawn that can screw you is a Vitality Totem.

Worst brawl so far. Hate it. I hope it never comes back.

Holy fucking shit have we reached a new low?
Is this not the worst brawl that has ever been made? Facehunter winning, freeze mage dominating, handlock. Wow.
Well, about that "random minion" part... Orgrimmar Aspirant, Gilblin Stalker, River Crocolisk, Mad Scientist, Druid of the Saber, Mad Bomber, Echoing Ooze... Flip the table... Six 2-mana minions and one 3-mana? WTF, Blizzard? Turn the RNG up a little...
Can you share some insights regarding how you're handling this brawl with a priest deck?
Favorite combo: Cabal Shadow Priest + Shrinkmeister = stolen Ysera
Current decks used - all low cost deck with very little craft required
Dragon Priest Patron Warrior Mech Mage Totem Shaman Pirate Rogue deck
The brawl is ok, the bugs are not especially when opponent gets a free minion when you just play a 5+ drop while doing nothing else that turn.
I've had someone silence my zombie chow. Never thought I would see that!
