I think that secret hunter or control warrior is gonna be better than any of those ideas yet. Until the rotation hits, we will have the worst meta of the year (I guess)
I think it is very similar to C'Thun tbh. Really dull, copy-pasted decks that will get old in the first few weeks. It might, however, be more broken than C'Thun, and as a future Kabal player, that makes me worried.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I think it will be a deck that will be really vulnerable to Aggro and Combo, but great against Control and Midrange. There also needs to be enough decent cards to form a deck without having to include trash cards just to get enough golems.
People tend to think: ah, a 7 man 5/6 give +5/+5 to something: slow meta incoming. Sorry, but this will not happen. Aggro is still there and still viable as hell. The best counter against aggro was the new 1 mana 2/2 that heals both heroes for 4. But the rest (and dirty rat is simply bad) i can't see any sign that aggro will disappear. Especially Jade Golem is against Aggro far too slow.
I don't think Golem will be a tier 1 or 2 deck. Currently the most you can get is a +10/10 (barring gimmicks) along with really weak bodied, poor curve minions.
Consider a deck like Dragon Priest. It will just curvestone against a Golem deck and win running away Or mid shaman. Or Maly Druid. etc.
The mechanic is VERY slow and the payoff isn't that impressive. Most decks will value trade until you get above a 5/5 and then they'll still have all their spells left. Considering you're best case is a turn 8 5/5 and you're going to spend those 8 turns getting hammered in the face.. I don't see it.
Not clear to me that Jade Golem decks will be overpowered. They will be slow, very dependent on card draw, and have to include Jade cards to the exclusion of other great card values.
Its not even clear to me you can get strong openings. For example, a Rogue could Coin into Jade Shuriken on turn 1 and then Jade Swarmer for turn 2. In two turns that'd be 2 points of damage to clear an opponent minion, have two 1/1 minions and a Deathrattle that would summon a 2/2 Jade Golem. A good opening but not like some of the other strong openings we see with other decks.
I definitely think Jade Golem decks will be better than Grimy Goons decks.
Both are similar in that the minion/weapon/spell you are using is normally a tempo loss on its own, but with jade golem's you are instantly getting a minion that makes up for it. With Grimy Goons you are getting an initial tempo loss with tempo gain on a later turn.
With Jade Golem you have to also think of each golem as an extra card you get to play on the board. You win the value game every time.
That being said, aggro decks counter both decks HARD. You fall behind on tempo every turn so you need healing or a comeback mechanic as well as stuffing your deck with buff cards/jade golem cards. Also you have to think Freeze Mage would destroy both decks as well.
With more cards to be released I don't think we can know for sure how each archetype will fair in a new meta, but it will be interesting to see how it shapes up.
I think it will completely phase Control out of the meta, and that's why I hate the idea of Jade decks. Maybe aggro will push it into unplayable territory, but I highly doubt it.
But are they overpowered? Yeah, probably. It hard-counters an entire archetype.
Don't get too riled up over their demo videos. They craft idiot decks and make idiot plays to show off mechanics in a bogus light.
If Aggro goes away this mechanic will be strong. (Buhahahah)
It's really an unfortunate mechanic because it might mean we will see more Aggro in tournaments as a counter to Jade as a counter to Control. I really don't like it. I hope it fails or it'll be an annoying Aggro meta.
You beat Jade Golems by playing aggro or playing a Jade Golem deck. As someone who likes to play control decks, particularly priest and warrior, I was hopeful due to the early reveals, but Jade Golems seem to be a hard counter to any deck that wants to control the board into the late game.
I think blizzard has decided the only control deck that should exist is freeze mage.
I'am excited for the expansion but this stream somehow demotivate me. IDK is just a feeling I hope the game will not be only summon big minions and AOE, I hope for some cool strong hard to pilot decks.

I do think so.
If each card you play in your deck at turn X summon a X/X minion added to its own effect, i think this mechanic will be totally broken.
And as this mechanic is nor fun to play nor fun to play against, i think it will be a cancer for the game.
What do you think ?
I think Jade Golem mechanic by the Lotus gang will hard counter Kabal classes.
However, Grimmy Goons who will most likely be aggressive in early turns will take down Jade Lotus classes and not give them enough time to set up.
Not fun to play or play against in your opinion. Other people have different ideas of fun.
My prediction is that Goons decks with Dopplegangster will be the next cancer.

Just remember the good times!

During the live, we have seen the druid jadegolem deck in action… quite effective.

well, the jade cards seems really op at first glance, but i do believe they will get crushed by the new hunter combos.

Broken mechanic.
No it won't, but it won't stop this site and Reddit from acting like it's the worst thing ever.
