Grats and in a time where shaman is considered unplayable.
No, its not. Stop saying bullshit.
Is shaman unplayable? - No. Shaman can reach legend? - Yes. Is shaman still worse than other top decks/classes? - Yes.
It is considered unplayable. It absolutely is considered by many to be unplayable. I never said they were right. I in fact was praising OP for proving that that consideration wrong.
Quit trolling. liquidhearth.com tempostorm.com any 'competitive' hearthstone gaming team (aka the pros, better than most of us) rank it at the very bottom, therefore it is considered unplayable , and the person you are flaming even gave the OP kudos for doing well with a deck considered bad. doesn't mean its bad. but yes, it is considered such.

No, it's not. Again. You're just making stuff. It may be considered bad by some rank 26 players may be, but as a guy above said shaman is really good against CW, druid and okay vs most warlocks and it's like more than a half of current ladder on high ranks.
Also, don't you think that "unplayable" is kinda too harsh for a word?
just don't take this redeyez seriously I remember as him saying that freeze mage was a good counter to patron EleGiggle go back rank 26 KevinTurtle
I am actually not certain who is favored in that matchup. In tournament play I saw both decks take wins, with freeze mage taking more games (don't have stats for that though). Freeze mage win condition is usually fatigue, since patron has more draw, and freeze mage can remove his board constantly. It also plays no minions so frothings proc only of your minions.
Patron's win condition is armorsmith, that only experienced patrons keep for death's bite patron turns. There is also a factor that they aren't certain if you are freeze or tempo in first 2 turns, so they may misplay armorsmith.
I am no expert for either deck, but that's how I see the matchup.
well you basically armour up every turn and make 2 big turns with armorsmith as soon as you recognised freeze mage and its 100% win. Only few losses are if you have neither execute nor when emperor is slammed. the matchup is 80/20 in favour of patron. (check by playing yourself or if you don't believe me just check every power rankings on any website where win rate against x archetype is shown)
(or as you said when you play armorsmith thinking it's tempo mage, but a good patron player would never slam a armorsmith against tempo mage anyway since it gets removed by pretty much everything(flamecannon, frostbolt+wyrm etc etc) its is good against decks like secret pal or facehunter because of all the 1 health minion only)

Update: reached legend this season after taking a break for hots for some time to get rank1 there. I changed an ooze to 2nd creeper and 1 tuskar totemic became a bgh. Getting past ranks 3 and 4 was nightmare due to many paladins and hunters, but ranks 2 and 1 were a smooth ride with 90% winrate at those ranks getting me legend (got 2-3 free wins with people experimenting with patron in legend).
p.s btw, I'm using your deck and works very well so far.If only I could find more time to play :)
You can try, but I don't think it's good for this meta, I very often play valiant on curve. Valiant on curve trades well and has pseudo taunt, depending on board state I often prefer dropping it over azure drake on turn 5. I save valiant for value only in control games (warrior, priest,...)
Mukla however, trades very poorly and will be stuck in your hand in this aggro meta. Both have similar effect vs control, but vs druids, mages, hunters and paladins Tb valiant is better.
I never tried Mukla's champion though, so feel free to try it, but I think deck would need more changes for it to fit (like nerubian eggs,...).

I am no Shaman expert, but I would also agree, if you are going to "stick" one of the two cards into a deck Thunder Bluff Valiant works better, though the "Bananna Shaman" who runs two Mukla's Champion cards can work, but is played way different.
The advantage as TaurenChieftain points out is that you can often drop TBV on turn 5 and worse case it eats a fireball or a few minions, while Mukla can be taken out pretty easily by most classes turn 5/6
Reached rank 5 by playing exclusively Shaman this season, I'll keep this thread for motivation and try to reach legend next season. (Have to admit I didn't play enough)
I don't have any of the adventure cards. What would be some good replacements? Thanks.

I got my golden shaman portrait exclusively with Control Shaman builds. I hate how it is worthless now that all these cancerous shaman players have it too.
It's nice to see a brag thread about this that isn't about mysterious training-wheels pally, which we now know even simple rulebased bots that don't consider your opponent or his hand can pilot to legend.

What is your idea about shifting one of [card]Thunder Bluff Valiant[/card] to Mukla's Champion ?

Spirits be with you man !
Nice job on reaching legend with shaman. I love shaman, too bad that it's considered one of the worst classes, if not the worst by a lot of people.
Well done!
Thanks for answers they were very useful.

Congrats OP!
I've been running a very similar deck on/off again since TGT that is:
-1 Neptulon +1 The Mistcaller and
-2 [card]Feral Spirit[/card] +2 Defender of Argus.
It's always been a strong deck that seems to win consistently vs the currently meta.
