Yes, they are. Hagatha will be playable in any shaman until rotation. Shudderwock is currently good and cannot be worse. His power just depends on the other cards in the deck.
Hagatha is awesome, sadly shaman is a bit in the dumps right now. But if you like shaman, Hagatha is super fun to play with. And this is your last chance to play even in standard!
Shudderwock is ok now, but Hagatha is way better - and she´s longer in standard than shudderwock ! he rotates in april! so if you realy wanna craft one of these two now i would say Hagatha!
That's wrong, both cards are from WW so they both remain in Standard for another year.
The "smart" play is to wait for the new expansion. But games are about fun, and if you think these will be fun now, go for it, pal.
Hagatha is great long-term value. An immediate and solid AOE, plus a lot of spells. This can really carry the late game for Shaman. Shudderwock is ok. With the right sort of deck, he'll do some AOE, give you a few more cards in hand, maybe grant a few extra minion bodies. But I feel like Hagatha is the real game-changer, now that the Shudder OTK variants have been killed.
both cards isnt very good, hagatha gives shaman spells, there are very few good shaman spells, so u need to get about 3 spells before getting anything usefull, the card looks good on paper, but it really isnt. Shudderwok needs to much support to work. I wouldnt craft these cards, save for new cards.
If you have interest in modifying the deck for Wild Shudderwock Shaman becomes a serious threat, and can ladder efficiently. For Standard Hagatha is the MVP of Shaman, while you know there will be busted battlecries for Shudderwock, the odds say it will be good in some capacity.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I would disagree with people saying Hagatha is a save craft. The card isn't "bad", arguably even "good", but whether Shaman will be a good class is an entirely different story, and if Hagatha would fit in a new Shaman deck is also not certain. Every single Shaman deck of the last year was either nerfed or rotates out, and they lost Flametongue Totem. There is no way of saying if and how Shaman will exist in the next meta.
I would consider, however, that Hagatha is a lategame card, and Shaman loses Healing Rain and Volcano. They are not necessary, but that makes it somewhat less likely that future Shaman decks will go for a strategy where Hagatha fits in.
Hagatha is a Hero card and all hero cards are worth having, in my opinion. Hagatha is also very fun. Shudderwock can also be fun, but if you're settled on one or the other, craft Hagatha.

Unless someone in Blizzard wake up in bad mood and just decide to send them away waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay sooner than the expected.
No one can tell how long a card will remain in Standard anymore.
There's something you guys SERIOUSLY aren't considering and are drastically overlooking.
Hagatha is an (almost) infinite value death knight in a world without infinite value death knights for (most) other classes.
This is could make a MASSIVE impact post-rotation.
100% keep an eye out for Shaman and Hagatha, sure Shamans suck right NOW, but they're going to look a LOT better when all this other scumbag stuff leaves the meta, and Hagatha the Witch becomes one of the most powerful hero cards available in Standard.
I can't edit the post above anymore, but I wanted to add an additional clarification- I'm not saying you should craft Hagatha now. But I'm absolutely saying you should keep this card in your sights.
No one can tell how long a card will remain in Standard anymore.
I think Baku and Genn are exceptions, but if you feel that way just make sure to adjust your tinfoil hat ; )
To the OP: I would craft Hagatha the Witch for many of the reasons mentioned above; although there is certainly merit to waiting for one month to see what we get w/ the new expansion.
I have both, Hagatha and Shudderwock and I would recommend you to wait till April, before you craft one of these cards.
Actually I don't play both cards, as they are not really good in the competetive game. Only when you play for fun, then I could recommend Hagatha more than Shudderwock. But, there are only around 4 weeks left till the rotation, so I recommend you more to wait ;-)
I use both cards in different home brew decks that are just ok. Hagatha complements an elemental overload deck well with sapphire spell stone and snow fury giants. Shudderwock goes in a battlecry elemental deck focusing on face damage and acts as a 10-15 damage finisher. Both are... ok, not great, but that is shaman right now.

I can't craft both because then I won't have any dust for cards that complement these two.
Or should I just wait for the new expansion? I just want a breath of fresh air when it comes to decks.
just wait, no one knows if they will be any good, both are not that strong atm

Hagatha. Shudderwok isn't that great anymore. Hagatha is great in any shaman deck, really and you will use it a lot more.

They both came from Witchwood so they both have another year before rotating out to Wild format.

he doesn't.

I honestly would just wait.

"There is no spoon"
I lean towards wait
but Hagatha seems hella good
