I'm not sure I want it to be sth like "Spend all your mana. Give your weapon that much attack." On one hand it will be broken with Blade Flurry (if they don't change it ofc); on the other hand it gives Rogue some nice board clear combo with their hero power for a control archetype. We'll see...
Doesn't wow have any Talents (i think?) that makes rogue something like an assassin? Or what is the reason Hearthstone doesn't have more rogue cards that have the 'assassin' theme? Why are they pushing towards a 'thief' or 'pirate' rogue?
We have Assassinate. I love that card - it's effect, animation - but it sucks so hard. Or Master of Disguise... Again, I love that card, but I find it so hard to use it...
Please, just please blizzard give us minions that have the 'assassin' theme, like Kidnapper. Even though he is bad because of his mana cost and stats ( correct me if i'm wrong ), I love him and I would like to see more minions like him. Or, another example, Patient Assassin. Again, such cool card but useless.

I dont know why rogues have TPG but my guess is that it has sth to do with "merchants being thieves" (i.e. unfair trades).
I also love the assassin theme (which is one of the reasons for rogue being my favorite class) and I do want more reasonably-costed cards with it + some synergy with current cards. As for Kidnapper, I'd like to see a change in it not because of unplayability but because of the effect not working as you expect by reading the card's name.

Maybe. But again the point of kidnapping is to gain from taking ransom. I would either make the current effect a battlecry with combo: put the coin to your hand or make the effect work like Recycle with the previously mentioned combo. Ofc the easiest way to fix it is to change the card's name :P

Some people kidnap for ransom, some for enjoyment and others for slavery/workforce....the name wouldn't need to be changed :P
If Kidnapper's effect was a Battlecry instead of combo I think the card would be fine...like seriously it's a 6 mana 5/3....you wouldn't play a 4 mana 5/3 would you? Sap is 2 mana and the effect is exactly Sap....yeah it's combined in one card, but a 4 mana 5/3 is really bad, 1 stat point below vanilla and horrible distribution.

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?

But you don't kidnap anything, not even for the reasons you mention. You just return a minion to it's owner; like returning a slave. Making the effect a battlecry would certainly help from a gameplay perspective but again it doesn't feel like kidnapping at all, which is why I added the combo coin.

Ah yes you're right, I misunderstood, I see your point now ;P
I thought you meant if the effect was to be changed into something else then the name would have to be changed as you wouldn't demand ransom anymore (ransom being the mana cost of the card since opponent have to pay it to get the minion back into play).

Forbidden Deception: Spend all of your mana. Return an equal amount of random enemy minions to your opponents hand.
But where's the merit in playing it above 7 mana, like the other Forbidden cards? (I do love the name though)
Unfortunately there is none, but that is one of the things, that keeps this card balanced. Imagine at turn 10 you play Emperor Thaurissan and Forbidden Deception... You remove 4 random enemy minions from the board and your opponent has to deal with Emperor Thaurissan and play his minions again. That card mostly buys you time, if your opponent and you are even and it gives you breathing room, if you're behind. But there are also situations, where it puts you ahead on board by quite a bit.
I like it, because to me it seems perfect for a big tempo swing in the mid game and allows you to play without a big Blade Flurry board clear, which requires at least 2-4 slots in your deck. You play a 4 mana minion and get rid of two random enemy minions at turn 6 for example. Changes are high, that will be an insane tempo swing. But in the early turns? Eh, playing it for 3 mana to get rid of 2-3 enemy minions does nothing for your board. If you have a board though, then it's again a great boost for your own momentum.

I think a really cool one would be:
0 mana, send all mana, give your weapon +1 attack for each mana spent
1 damage to all enemy minions for every 2 mana spent would be good, but not too good.
Probably going to be some unusable garbage like filling your board with 1/1garbage.

Forbidden game : Spend all your mana. Play another class for X games.
Maybe something like make your opponent draw x cards for some mill action?

And why would rogue have Trade Prince Gallywix as a legendary?

I will be very surprised if it's not called Forbidden Blade, and I would expect it to add X durability to your weapon.
