Priests can draw a card and give a minion 2+ health for 1 mana, so it's not really that bad, but yeah drawing 4 cards for the cost of 4 might be quite overpowered
Ridiculously OP. The first one is overpowered compared to all other drawing spells as long as you've got more than 1 mana (and even then it's not too bad).
I think it is going to be some sort of draw mechanic but drawing half as much Cards as you have spend in mana might not be good enough (4 mana for 2 Cards? meh). Maybe it could reduce the cost of your current Hand by the amount of mana you spent or half the amount. That might be good enough to be a viable Option and not way to broken.
Another Option might be "Increase the stats of your weapon by x for every 2 mana spend".
On the other side i dont think we are going to see something that inclued half the mana because you cant increase anything by 0,5/1,5/2,5/3,5 or 4,5 in hearthstone.

Power Word: Shield comes with a significant prerequisite though - you cannot play it when you don't have any minions on the board. If you play a lot of priest, you will see that this matters more often t han you'd think.

Yeah, plus prep flurry is still a possiblity. A three card 20 damage combo that also does 10 damage to all enemy minions seems really broken. Even at spending 5 mana with prep flurry you're getting insane value.
So apparently every class gets a forbidden spell like
Forbidden Flame
Forbidden Healing
Forbidden Shaping
I'm really curious what the rogue spell will be. What's your idea for such a mechanic?
Maybee a card like sprint:
(7 Mana = 3,5 = 3 Cards)
or something like prep:

Both effects should be half less efficient for mana spent, or it'll break the game.
Both are extremely strong. Drawing a card is worth a lot more than just 1 mana, plus the second one is outright broken in combo decks, I feel.
the 2 mana for 1 card would be ok but what if you have an unecen number of mana? and of course the preparation would be just for one turn. :)

I believe its gonna its gonna be either way gain wep dmg for X amount of mana or get a coin for X amount of mana
On a side note, a funny shaman forbidden Card would be "Spend all your mana. Overload yourself for the same amount of mana."

Interesting would be:
0 mana
Spend all your mana
Get a Coin for each mana spent
So it does actually nothing but it preserves mana for later turns and is an easy combo enabler. It might actually be broken...
Spend all your mana. For each mana spent, target minion gains Stealth for 1 turn.
With how much blizzard seems to hate rogue, I'm guessing the card with be:
Forbidden Booty: Spend all of your mana. Give a Pirate +1/+0 for each mana spent.
Although this would still be okay with Southsea deckhand.
1 Coin for every Mana could be at least a 10/10 vanCleef on turn 3 :)

Guys come on, stop it now ... this is a Rogue expansion card. The best we can get is "Spend all your mana, lose 1 game per mana spent."
