Just another card to BibleThump on stream.
Not sure how strong this is compared to the other 1-drops. Fiery Bat's deathrattle gives Hunter more power in the early game against 1-health minions and Alley Cat gives Hunter more staying power against pings. But this 1-drop is interesting because it focuses on the later parts of the game over the earlier ones, something you generally don't see out of Hunter. Getting that 1 mana 4/3 will definitely be rewarding at whatever point, but who knows how long it could be before you even draw it. I understand that with The Marsh Queen Blizzard is trying to encourage card-draw heavy gameplay for Hunter, but it's still a work in progress that hopefully turns out good in the end.
Not sure if this is a case of Blizzard being smart on deck build design in terms of how this synergizes with Tol'vir Warden and The Marsh Queen or careless in terms of coming close to a broken deck. It is not quite there just yet to being broken, but just these three are putting it into borderline.
Every one say that this and other hunter quest cards are good, but how will hunter find any important spells? Oh wait, he doesnt have those...
Blizzard: We've gotten the message and are going to be more careful with releasing powerful one-mana minions in the future.
Blizzard: *pats Rexxar on the head* The Marsh Queen Raptor Carnassa's Brood Be careful with these, kid
Shuffle, thank God. When I saw this on the Taiwanese site I thought it was a deathrattle to summon a 4/3. It sounds crazy until you think about Tunnel Trogg...
Turn 6 you want topdeck Savannah Highmane or Raptor?

I like this card because the effect is powerful but not broken. Since it's a deathrattle effect, you'll never be able to play the 4/3 on turn 1 so you'll never have a huge advantage just on turn 1. Obviously it's powerful though for the quest because a 4/3 later in the game for the sake of achieving your quest isn't so horrible.
It's still pretty broken if you happen to play a turn 2 4/3 for 1 even if unlikely XD, in itself it also has a very high tempo curve since if you draw it you'll play a 4/3 for 1 and have plenty of mana for more presence on the board or removal. Ya gotta add Crush for the whole raptor theme, the old 8/8 execution ain't old yet XD
yeah, you're right. That way he can fight the swamp king for Carnassa
You've been negative on almost every single card...
Yeaaah... No.... They will be played. You're not a pro.
IKR they were played. Told ya you weren't a pro. SMH
sooo cute *_*
At this point hunters might be able to make a deck out of nothin but 1 drops.
On a side note with this and the quest, mill rogues might have no hope against them even with a full wild set.
Keep in mind the quest raptors draw a card when played meaning your hand doesnt actually become emptier.
You can always just not play them and have a deck with more cards than the rogue despite his gang ups.
Nice card. Gonna get pissed when they draw that 4/3 next turn, though.
